My interaction with the Dispute…

My interaction with the Dispute Department was not professionally acceptable. They did not address all my concerns. They actually told me to call Customer Service Department at EZPassNY to discuss my concerns. My debit number was fraudulently used to charge $700.00 to EZpassNY and I'm suppose to call them and ask them to fix it???? I had to go to my Bank Manager to get some answers, as every time I call the Dispute Department I was on hold for over 20 minutes. The Bank Manager was also on hold for over 20 minutes in his office, trying to reach the Dispute Department. There is something wrong there!! I still have not received any progress notice or resolution to my concerns.

I would like to say a little something…

I would like to say a little something about my recent experience at 5th 3rd bank in Demotte ,Ind. With Ted Paparodis. Ted said " I will take care of you ",and he did exactly that. There were a few times when I was a little uncomfortable with the transaction process, and everything Ted would reply"Iwill take care of you" and again he did. I can't say enough about Ted,but I can say he made the experience pleasurable. 5th 3td is very fortunate to have such a person representing them. Ted , thank you very much, and wish you a long pleasant career. Allan Ferrell

I went in the bank to pay off my car…

I went in the bank to pay off my car note on 7/6. We had to go see Tia in her office. Tia said I needed to go on my app to turn off auto pay. I logged in and made sure it was turned off. Tia assured me that balance was at zero and auto pay would not take place since I turned it off. Tia then proceeded to ask if I wanted to open an account. Fast forward to Friday, 7/10, I checked my account and 5/3 took out my auto payment. I stopped by on Saturday, 7/11 and Brittany, Branch manager, said she could not see my payment and you have to CALL to stop automatic payments. Tia did NOT say anything about needing to call anyone. Then Brittany stated I needed to file a fraudulent claim with my bank. Now I have to wait 10-14 business days for this money to be deposited back in my account. This whole process has been a nightmare to deal with.

Terrible customer service...

A check we have been awaiting a long time for was flagged due to out of state and it was fairly large. A holdings check from a deceased relative. Instead of two days like we were told it's now a week. And the lady from customer service had the nerve to tell me I should not depend of a check like this and have alternative plans... let's add insult to injury. I hope there call center calls are recorded and listened to.

No customer service at all

Received a check from my 41. K took it to get it cashed. The teller said money would be available that evening. And the rest the next day here to find out that my 41K company released the funds immediately cashed the check 4 5th third, put ahold on, releasing the funds to me. Because I am a new customer of theirs. Contacted them. They said I needed to get verification that the check is good. Had the Trust Company that dispersed the funds? Send an email to me. I forwarded it to them. And they still would not release the funds for 10 days. So now for another seven days, my money sits in Fifth Third Bank. That I cannot touch.

I had been with fifth third for 42…

I had been with fifth third for 42 years, I wrote over 8000 checks, got a mortgage for one of my houses, got an auto loan wants from fifth third, until someone wired me $50,000. Fist Turd freaked out, froze my account, then closed it and accused me of laundering money. Now I have hire a lawyer to get the remaining money in my account. Oh I almost forgot they said they said my Social Security checks back, but Social Security has no record of that. Over the years I saw5/3 go downhill. They used to be a pro business Bank and now they’re not even that. They never were very good at customer service. The people that worked the branch banks were pleasant enough they just didn’t have very good leadership. And the Hyde Park branch must be for experimentation. They got a woman working in there with prison tattoos, who doesn’t know her ass from a hole in the ground. Just sayin’

This bank is a joke

This bank is a joke, it doesn't deserve a 1 star review that it requires to submit this. I was issued a refund on a Mastecard debit card, the card expired and therefore it doesn't show in their system, after finally connecting to an individual (20 mins later), they were clearly in another country with a very poor grasp of the english language. Bottom line is I'm unable to get to the money that Bon Secours has refunded to me.

Extremely dissatisfied

Extremely dissatisfied. Bank rep did not help. Was not knowledgeable about the issue of CD rates. Told me will search and call me but did not. While made another appointment but did not honor. Was told Nathan (North Michigan RD Brach , Indianapolis 46228) is in lunch , then told is in the Restroom, despite waiting for few minutes had to leave the bank. Went to the branch on 07/03/26, twice(morning and afternoon) in 07/07/202607/07/2026

Needs two drawers open

Have more than one person with a drawer. The lady was so busy so another associate said ill help you but she could not because only one person had a drawer this was puzzeling to me because she saw my check in my hand why would she offer to help if she couldnt. The women that actually helped me was amazing she is always amazing. 5/3 was amazing in Ohio im not sure why Fl is not the same quality. I never had issues with any 5/3 up north the ones here give me anxiety and countless times of medical distress because my checks get flagged every mobile deposit.
