Furthermore, consumers highlighted unhelpful support teams, persistent website glitches that prevent order updates, and frustrating delivery delays without proper advance notifications.

Every time we go into Asda stores there's always problems with disabled scooters & wheelchairs..It's been going on too long not to mention it..Went in again today & hoped it would be solved 🥴It was worse than the last visit all scooters are now broke.. Tesco's & Sainsbury's top marks to them for their scooters always charged & ready to go never any problems..It seems Asda have no compassion for their disabled elderly customers whatsoever..Needless to say we've had to leave without all of our shopping we couldn't manage it..But a big Thank you to security guard ABAS who went beyond his job role in trying to help us. Bless him.
I ordered on line express groceries, 98% substitution boxes are unticked as pickers are useless at choosing a matching substitute. I asked for Beef dripping chunky Chips but was substituted by the picker,,, (which the box was unticked, no substitutions and then not emailed about the swap beforehand), substitute for chips were cheesy sauce potatoes... !!!!!! CHIPs! CHIPs! CHIPS!!! 2 totally different things. I cant stand cheese it makes me vomit. Its the same as the difference from Mint ice cream swapped for chocolate... Mint! Mint.!. Chocolate is a Migraine to me. and large cooked prawns swapped for raw shrimps, ??? Where were their brains..( in the freezer). Then asking for a refund takes days to decide..then its refused On cheesy potatoes which I marked it as "unsuitable substitution" Asda said NO, NOT GRANTED A REFUND, How dare someone decide this was not an unsuitable substitute, especially when I don't eat cheese Appalling , its not the money its the principle of the matter ,that they did a substituting.
One time they didn't deliver at all, uber driver said he did until I said I had CCTV 24/7 at that same time. another was put on collection not home delivery , couldn't collect as I had a badly fractured foot at the time. Had to fight and waits days and days for my money back. Asda's policies sucks. They change the rules when suited. Right hand does not know what left hand is doing. I have to take what is sent ... "like it" or lump it" what a waste of food, every time it goes in the bin as no answers from food banks. I've objected so still waiting for a reply. Had to make 3 phone calls, after waiting on the line they said it was sorted but only got a message to say they received my request.!!!!!!! and not that I have received a refund. so still ongoing. Best using Morrison instead only £3 delivery instead of Asda £9
I have shopped with Asda for years. I normally have a home delivery and the drivers are marvellous. I have reported missing items recently. No one cares, the store just sent me a text saying refund refused. So I contacted the head office customer services, again, they didn't even reply. Finally text Roger Burnley even he couldn't be bothered. They are missing out on a large weekly shop all because they couldn't be bothered. Why do they bother advertising for new customers when they cant look after the ones they have
I am disabled i was struggling to separate the trollies a yoing lad Harvey came and helped he also lift 2 bags of compost into my trolley after shopping Harvey was collecting trollies near where my car was parked he came and loaded the compost and my shopping into the car for me and took my trolley
Harvey's parents should be very proud of their young son also what an assett the Asda he was smart smily and helpful Asda should recognise this young man it shows not all young lads are rude and uncaring Harvey thsnk you so much for your help
The asdar app is so bad now why they don't leave things alone when working ok it tacks a good hour to do my order now every you have to tipe in you fort some body would check it .
Used ASDA's groceries home delivery service on and off fro some years now, and it has been reasonably convenient. Two things I have noticed that have changed recently.
1. The (sometimes very) short use by a dates on perishable products, and
2. Refunds frequently not happening on items that are handed back to the driver. I'm guessing that either a) the driver can't be bothered to process the refund, or b) that (particularly more attractive / higher cost) produce is being stolen by the drivers (a few drivers, but not all). *you know who you are*
You'd think it would be simple to change delivery pass debit card details for Asda Groceries. It is not. It's an endless frustrating loop. I cannot understand why such a simple thing should take four days to get nowhere.
Sefton park Asda
Thay put roll back prices on items
But when you go to pay the items are the original price, not at the reduced price, this has happened several times to me
So double check your bill
Purchased a packet of fresh chilies at Asda High Wycombe. The checkout system flagged chilies up as a restricted item! and needed store assistant permission to buy them!
Asda madness!
Looked at the flowers on display, sadly as usual they were neglected and had not been watered.
Bought one that we could save, got the sunflower home, watered it and now it's alive.
Also the trolleys are either broken or just can't move them but it seem that the owners are not buying anymore 😕 so what will customers do if they have alot of shopping and there are no suitable working trolleys? Will they have to use the little green baskets for all their shopping?
If this continues customers will go else where in future, they need to take care of their flowers, trolleys and customers!
An entire tray of frozen food was missing from my delivery. When I contacted customer service I was put through to the Trafford Park store. I was advised they would call the driver to ask him to return to me with my items and that I would receive a call back.
This never happened. I called a further 6 more times, 2 of which I was hung up on.
The final time I called, I was advised to just request a refund for the items. I did this then my request for a refund was rejected. I was then advised to wait 24 hours to get my refund.
Well it's been over 24 hours and no refund, it's still advising its rejected. So currently out of pocket, how is this acceptable?? I'm sure they'd have an issue if I just walked in the store and took the items without paying.
Asda rewards must be finished , over the last 3 months we have spent over £500 and not received 1 penny , it says Asda rewards accepted when you till up , of course they are because you do not get anything I have deleted the app it's a waste of time
Online grocery deliveries: Delivery drivers - Very good, helpful, polite, punctual, clean (though ALL - potential work related musclo-skelital repetative strain injury candidates in the making, despite the induction process and inadaquate small handtrucks supplied - start collating your class-action evidence NOW).
Why bother putting employees through a health and safety course and then NOT allow them the time to apply this during the working day.
Website - very awkward and slow to navigate, search filters often do not work at all and produce only seemingly random items unrelated to the actual search citeria. Item availability - often very inaccurate even over just a few hours between checking the order online (again) and the actual physical delivery. Some fresh items clearly available on the website have NEVER arrived ( 5 concecutive orders now). Produce quality - many fresh items are NOT at their best - not of saleable quality. Many End-Of dates are far too, too short to continue using ASDA at all.
I will never shop online with them again and neither should you
I've been a customer with them for over a decade and have had ups and downs like food ordered not arriving or damaged items etc but you let these things go.
However, yesterday and today pushed it too far and I will now NEVER shop with them again.
A failed delivery for what ever reason is annoying but these things happen.
But not being informed about the failed delivery and then spending up to 5 hours (!!!!) on the phone trying to get an answer to any question, trying to get a refund, trying to get anyone beyond a standard call centre person answering, trying not to get hung up on when they put you on hold or transfer you, trying to get any form of help or answer is completely impossible. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. AVOID!!!!!!!
I placed an order online for next day delivery, the order did not arrive as ordered and I received no notification from Asda as to why.
After spending hours on the telephone with their so called customer support to no avail, I'm left £300 worse off and with no delivery, I've tried and tried telephoning them but still nothing has happened.
What on earth are you playing at, where is the goods that I have paid for in good faith and more importantly where is my money that you have taken from me.
Order number 70000057534820 1st June 2026.
I am overwhelmingly disappointed in Asda and would recommend anyone of thinking of shopping there to think twice and to use a reputable company such as Tesco or Sainsburys for a trouble and stress free shopping order
Shocking customer service , in fact shocking all round!
i ordered 3 packets of Runner beans - a subsitute was sent - GROW YOUR OWN SEEDS - so guessing if they run out of milk they deliver a cow
do not order from these cowboys
The app runs slowly. Crashes a lot so I have to close the app and reopen it multiple times whilst trying to do an online order. When I go to pay it takes considerably long to confirm the order. It’s been like this for months so I doubt they even care enough to fix it.
Asda app is pathetic, fed up lost rewards, having to take app off then re-do,then told my password is wrong after I renewed it,so very frustrating, had enough of it
