Families deeply appreciate the well-structured lessons and the fun, interactive activities that make the overall learning process truly enjoyable for their children. This institution is very ambiguous with there tools of knowledge. They genuinely care for the students success. I’m honored to have my student to be apart of this institution to grown into his comprehensive abilities. The staff had a profound effect on my student that will continue to leave a lasting impression on him for life.
Worst ever service. The tutor does not shows up a lot of times and many times they dont reschedule the class
I love the one on one experience. I love how the teachers asked my son what are his favorite things
Very helpful teachers teaching concepts one-on-one to my child. Time invested definitely seems worth it, and teacher Marc Shane has been very very patient.
It's hard to recommend a company like this when it seems like little to no effort was done to understand the scenario. I was interviewing for a tutoring job, and the questions they asked were very common. I thought I did well, and then got an immediate rejection within minutes. Yikes. This always gets me a bit agitated as it seems the person doing the actual screening doesn't quite understand the point I was getting across. The question was how to engage an unmotivated student (a typical tutoring scenario). I've tutored for ten years with American students, so I am familiar with this scenario. I then explained how to engage students like this by asking them how they feel, if everything is ok? In other words acting concerned but not nosy. American students like teachers who are concerned about them but not nosy. However, by asking these questions you show empathy and concern for their well being which will usually grab the student's attention. I then also explained how it helps in this scenario by building rapport with the students. How do you build rapport with students? By talking about your own experience and relating it to the lesson. I am not sure what part of this was not clear to the screener, or if they have actually taught lessons with students (my instinct says no), but then I got this long response: "found it challenging to clearly identify a structured approach to explaining material, as well as the level of engagement and soft skills required to maintain interactive and student-centered lessons." It's almost like they didn't watch my actual answer to the question being posed since I DID use soft skills to talk to the student, I did use the approach of building rapport by talking about my experiences, and relating it to them, etc. (Sigh) very frustrating. I already have accounts with other tutoring companies, but I would be hesitant to recommend this one based on the response I received. Any potential tutors, I would say to avoid this one at all costs.
Very satisfied, my daughter is enjoying and she’s been learning so much. We are truly happy .
I like the tutor and the program. She is very kind and patient. I receive helpful reports. My kid is able to complete the homework and send it back through the platform.
Teacher Kinath is excellent, she finds out the way to connect with my child. Brighterly is a great platform that help your children to overcome their weakness in the ELA and math .
It fits what my daughter needs. She’s really interested in lesson and having improvements. The activities are fun and helpful. Teacher is really friendly and dedicated, focusing on my daughter’s weakness and able to help my daughter to improve. It is so convenient for busy mom as me. I will refer Brighterly to my friends. I’m happy to find Brighterly. Thank you.
They were spot on!
I really like it. The tutor was so patient with my son and explain everything she could to me.
Well and effective
If you are considering registering with this company, please take this as a serious warning sign. There are multiple red flags that I wish I had noticed before signing up. First, they use high-pressure sales tactics to get you to commit immediately. They push you to make a payment while you are still on the phone and create a sense of urgency by claiming that a 20% discount is only available if you stay on the call and pay right away. They do not give you reasonable time to think, research, or make an informed decision. My son only attended three classes, and after that, the teacher stopped showing up. I have repeatedly tried to contact the company, but there is no phone number where you can actually speak with a representative. The only option is messaging, and when I request a callback, they claim they are trying to reach me, but then falsely say my phone is going to voicemail. They already have my credit card information, and resolving this issue has been extremely frustrating. The lack of customer support and accountability is unacceptable. Please do your research and think carefully before signing up. Do not let the sales pressure and promises convince you. Based on my experience, this company has been a major disappointment and I would not recommend it to anyone. The teachers appear to be based all over the world, but not in the U.S., which may be important for families looking for a certain level of consistency and support.
Hello Sukhmani, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience interruptions in your son's lessons and to have difficulty getting the support you needed. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. Regarding your concerns, we'd like the opportunity to review what happened with your account, including the teacher's attendance, your communication with our team, and any billing-related questions. We also take your feedback about the enrollment process seriously, as we always aim to provide clear information and ensure families can make informed decisions. Please reach out to us through our support channel with your account details, or reply to any of our previous messages, and we'll make sure your case is thoroughly investigated and addressed as quickly as possible. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to make things right. Kind Regards, Brighterly Team
Tutors are very patient with a deep level of understanding and experience within children
I stumbled upon this app on FB while looking for summer activities. I am glad I took the chance of booking the trial class and with which I had positive experience and from there on I enrolled my daughter into summer class which if she’s interested I will continue through the year. Very helpful and knowledgeable one on one tutoring who go with your child’s learning curve and help develops a course that suits their learning ability. Highly recommend.
Your consistency and ready availability for your teachers.
I really like the tutoring at Brightly and feel my child is learning a lot from the sessions. My only concern is the lack of consistent homework right now; it’s only once in the last five lessons. I believe regular, ongoing homework is essential for kids to truly master these concepts and show progress, so I hope to see this change in the future.
Beverly listened to our issues with the current math concerns and goals for future growth. Provided plans for progress and how to develop the current issues. We are looking forward to moving forward. I was unfortunately unable to take the follow-up phone call after our first meeting. If we could reschedule that to make plans for creating a plan for Adrian and signing contracts. I would be most grateful. Annie WZ
I really love your tutoring program based on the demo I experienced with my granddaughter. The teachers are spontaneously creative in interacting with children that are in need of 1 on 1 academic support. I do recommend this tutoring program as a support system for parents to help their children reach their academic goals.
