AI generated

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. People love how simple the website is to navigate, praising the fast delivery and how helpful the team is when choosing the right items for their homes. Many consumers note that the door sweeps and weather seals are of top quality, fitting well and stopping mice effectively right away. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the rubber materials were too stiff to seal properly or arrived bent during shipping. Others mentioned having trouble with parts not fitting their specific doors or needing extra manual adjustments to get everything properly installed.

I had a roof rat problem with an Arizona rat seeking refuge in my exterior shed. With one week of rain in November 2025 and then freezing temperatures in December 2025, my two shed doors needed a high-grade door sweep exclusion system to lock them out. I received great help from Paul over the phone. He recommended the Xcluder 36" Versaline (adjustable) door sweeps. My housing cooperative didn't correct the gaps in the shed door, but I did. I highly recommend the Xcluder Versaline. PS. Plan to pre-purchase a separate mini Phillips screwdriver kit to attach the end caps for the interior end of the door sweeps; that way you have metal all around the door sweeps.

Good product, lousy experience

Well, I give the product 5 stars because it is so good but I am very disappointed in the process of purchasing it. I needed it in a hurry as my contractor pulled my project ahead. I paid for the expedited shipping… was told it would arrive on Saturday before 4pm I wouldn’t have bought it at all this late in the game if I couldn’t get it on time. I called to inquire if it was on its way as I didn’t get an email confirmation saying it had shipped. Never spoke with a human, nor given the opportunity. My spray-in insulation was completed Monday afternoon so placing the xcluder was no longer an option. In the meantime I received emails confirming that my order had been “cancelled” because of unforeseen shipping issues and I would be refunded. Then lo and behold, the order arrived at my door the following Thursday evening at 6pm. What good is it to me now? I guess we can blame AI for replacing humans.

Incomplete

The excluder was relatively easy to install just make sure to have some sort of saw that can cut metal. My main issue with the product is that the rubber that glides in to the frame was not as long as the frame itself by about 12". The brush length was fine but there remains a non-sealed gap which is kinda the whole point of the device. I order the 8'2" model and received about 7' of rubber insert.

Working well

I hired a handyman to install the automatic door bottom on the side door of my garage because my concrete is uneven. It works really well, and I'm confident I will not see any more rats in my garage! There is a very minor gap of maybe 1/8 of an inch at one spot, but I believe it is mostly due to my very uneven cement floor. It was easy to order the automatic door bottom, and I received it in a timely manner, despite the holiday season!
