I purchased the DIY starter kit, and would recommend this for anyone who is just starting with this product. I also got some additional fabric. The items were packaged well. The starter kit came with some gloves that are decent quality, and the scissors are really good. I can see why it's necessary to wear the gloves. The fabric cut easily with the supplied scissors. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. This seems to be a well thought out and effective product.

Ordered the wrong size

Ordered the wrong size. Did not realize why I did not catch the issue until the product arrived. It cost a lot to return. When I ordered the correct product, I realized that the order confirmation only shows the product family and not the exact size you ordered so you will not know until it arrives. Otherwise, they have been good to work with.

Company representatives with expertise provided a great deal of helpful explanations that guided my choice of product (garage door seals). I really appreciated the time they took to speak with me. In an age of overseas call centers and mediocre "customer service," Xcluder's representatives stood out as a welcome exception by providing true and comprehensive assistance.

Expensive lesson to learn

I hired a garage door tech to come to my house to install this garage sweep. After he installed it, my garage door would not close. Evidently the rubber is so hard that it makes my garage door bounce back up. Unfortunately, the garage door tech had cut it to make it fit on my garage, which was 8 feet, not 8‘2“. So I was unable to return it. Very expensive lesson to learn. You really should have it in your write up that the rubber is very hard and may cause the sensors of an electric garage door to bounce back up. This is something your customers should know before purchasing such an expensive item.
