What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the booking process is exceptionally fast, simple, and very easy to navigate without any unnecessary clutter or complex steps. Travelers also deeply appreciate the affordable prices, noting that tickets are consistently cheaper and offer great value compared to other online booking platforms. However, some people mentioned notable difficulties when trying to manage, update, or change their travel bookings afterward through the online portal. A few reviewers specifically experienced frustrating issues such as unrecognised booking reference numbers at the airport or unexpectedly high service fees for altering flights.

Feeling upset

Tried to book flights to Penang today but not able to find the option to key-in the discount code in the newsletter. Called customer service but was told to read the T&C & it'll be automatically applied. Repeated to him "it stated Southeast Asia, key-in code & Travel Anytime" - please fix urgently or give me another discount code.

after the tickets were booked

after the tickets were booked, Cheaptickets become uncontactable. Normally I would received confirmation from the airline immediately. But in this case, I didn't. It worries me as this is the first time I booked tickets thru them. I called many times to their Spore office, but totally unreachable except recording. This is worrying and unacceptable

Totally agreed with Obaja Liauw on the admin fee charges for change of flights. My reason is because , already I had to pay $100 for insuring my tickets while booking. And when cheap ticket.sg came up with premium insurance to cover change of flights, I thought to give it a miss , only to realize now it is price to pay - $125 for admin fee plus possible $99 buck to the airline. Really cannot take it. I will be better off with direct bookings with airlines. Totally disappointed ☹️. Now I have to work out more...

Left me in the lurch and refused to take responsibility

I bought tickets to fly from SFO to LAX to catch a plane back to SIN on Christmas Day. Upon reaching the airport, the staff from Alaska Airways told me that the plane had been cancelled/redirected and asked me to contact my third party travel agent as they are unable to modify my booking due to the booking made by a third party. Moreover, they had informed all travel agents of the change. I then had to make a call to the Netherlands (which they hung up on me twice - I never managed to reach them despite spending more than SDG100 on the overseas call. I found out that the flight was taking off from San Jose instead. I took a taxi to San Jose to catch the flight in order not to miss my LAX connecting flight. I emailed cheap tickets.sg to seek some justice and some recompense for this mess on Christmas Day. The series of emails had only one answer : No, they didn’t get that email from Alaska. It isn’t their problem. The ticket (which could have been purchased some place else) wasn’t so cheap, there was no customer service when you most need it, and no amount of empathy. Nor help. Don’t waste your time on this website.

I sent an email asking a question

I sent an email asking a question, that required a simple answer. (not rocket science) No such luck with a honest answer, Just recieved the old rhetorical reply from the company - On checking with Feed Back from other customers , it is apparent that once "CheapTickets .co.) have gotten your money , they do not wish have further involvment with their customers A sad indictment for any civilized company

Living in Macau

Living in Macau, buying tickets at Cheaptickets.hk, i consider unacceptable to call for hours the provided number for cancellations and no one is the to answer the phone. It seems to be a call center in Europe to provide this service, only available in the afternoon of our timezone.
