Shipped product a lot sooner than expected

Purchased a very expensive custom large tube. Followed up during production to verify it was on time because I had a very tight schedule for a research and development project. Was told all on time. Called the day it was supposed to ship and was told it was on schedule to ship that day and no real benefit to expedited shipping due to our location. 3 days later (After the committed ship date) is finally shipped with ZERO contact from Dragonplate. When they finally shipped it they marked it as commercial and made signature required without my consent or knowledge then proceeded to ship it to a residence where UPS we could not be there to sign. We went to the UPS facility and attempted to retrieve the package but because it was a marked commercial we were not allowed to retrieve it, I called Dragonplate for 2 days until we finally got a call back. They re-directed it to our local UPS store. It went there but because we did not have a commercial account at that location it could not be retrieved there either. UPS returned it to sender 2 days later. Once back at Dragonplate they finally shipped it to us correctly. We received it more than 2 weeks after the original ship date and our project is likely cancelled. I requested some sort of concession for the multitude of mistakes and oversights made and have received nothing.
We’re genuinely sorry for the frustration. Your order shipped a few days later than planned, and we recognize this put your timeline at risk. For security and insurance reasons, high-value, oversized shipments are designated commercial and require a signature. After your carrier-redirect request, UPS policies prevented pickup at the UPS Store, which added delay. We coordinated with UPS to resolve the routing issues and then reshipped the tube via Next Day Air at our expense. We’ve since connected directly and confirmed you received the product. We’re glad we were ultimately able to get the tube to you and truly appreciate your patience. Ordered items that the description said were .5” inserts and they measured less than what was stated in the description which when returned I was charged a 15% restocking fee plus paid for shipping both ways because there specs are incorrect. Restock fee if no new order is placed, which they do not have the right material based on the fact their specs are not correct.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the parts didn’t meet your expectations. The 0.5" Threaded End Connectors you ordered are designed to fit into tubes with a 0.5" ID. As listed on the product page, the “Compatible Tube Size” refers to the tube’s ID, not the external measurement of the part itself. The actual connector measures slightly smaller (approx. 0.48") by design to allow proper adhesive bonding, which is critical in composite applications and allows the part to fit within the tube. CAD files with exact measurements are available on the product pages for our customers to review and get part specifications before purchase. Our return policy, including the restocking fee and product returns at the buyer's expense, is clearly stated and applies when no new order is placed. While we regret your frustration, the product details provided are accurate and transparent. We appreciate your feedback. I found what I needed, there were a lot more options than I was expecting. Shipping was a bit high IMO, but it is what it is. Will be doing more business in the future.

Was charged $32 to ship ground a few lightweight carbon fiber tubes and then it wasn’t shipped out for 2 weeks. Parts are fine and good quality.
Plate looks good. Shipping was the same cost as the plate, crazy. For clarification, I ordered 1 6”x6” plate. It shipped in a 12x12x3 box with 2 pieces of bubble wrap. The box might have weighed 1lb. Shipping was $37.
