Many opportunities for learning

I was able to learn a lot during my five days here. Alongside learning veterinary procedures and animal anatomy/classification through lectures, we were also able to learn and/or demonstrate what we learned through hands on experiences, in which we were able to do at least 3 of per day. I was also able to work on my public speaking skills at least once a day.

Very good experience, nice location, however a bit expensive for the price

The projects were fun, the other activities and facilities were lacking. I think for the money paid it could have been much better. Still happy to have the experience.

Envision experience

The people there and the overall environment of the camp is amazing, I met friends, made connections for the work field, and even met people who live near me. This camp was the best thing I’ve done in a while and the only issue was how short it felt. Rishik Badr and Lauren were the best

Such an amazing experience

My child had an amazing experience! He learned about forensics, how to create something using only spare parts, learned about medicine, first aid, and how the heart works and much more. He met children his age from different areas. He made new friends, and lasting memories. The staff were professional, friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. The staff were always around to provide guidance, fun times and a safe environment. He is excited to see what next year's adventure is.

Everything went well and my son loved…

Everything went well and my son loved it. I think the end of the day allowing the students to leave could have been more secure. It seemed like anyone could walk out with someone and no one would know.

My envision experience was fun

My envision experience was fun I met new friends and I got to experience dorm life on a real campus. Although I was a bit nervous and home sick I did my best and I am happy I came. I don’t remember all of the names of the students and teachers I met but I remember going to lab to dissect a heart I also help to build a robot that was really cool and I learn to help my friends with their injuries. Overall I would give my experience an A I’ll ask my mom if I can go back again.

The vets we worked with were very open to questions and in fact encouraged them! I loved that I could get first hand experience with animals other than dogs and cats.

My overall experience was amazing

My overall experience was amazing, and I genuinely enjoyed the time I spent in Arizona. The thing that caused my experience to not be an overall 5 star is that fact that the food wasn't well planned and thought out. While some days the food wasn't terrible, many times we didn't get lunch until 1-1:30 when it was planned for 12, and we were often left clueless as to what we were going to eat that day. As well more often than not, the people who had food allergies/intolerances were restricted to few options and at times were forgotten about. There were several incidents where the people who had food sensitivities had to remind the organizers of these sensitivities. While I did enjoy the experience and thought it helped a lot when it came to learning new information, the large groups often made it quite difficult to retain the information. The vets did an amazing job and teaching us and keeping us informed, as well answering any questions we may have had.

Envision Experience

Provided regular updates and reminders about the experience, ensured all question were answered and gave POC information if there were any questions.

Overall Experience

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and was very happy with the activities and learning opportunities. I did, however, receive some feedback that during certain classes, the instructor occasionally used language that seemed somewhat informal or inappropriate for an educational setting. As a parent, I believe it is important for students to be exposed to professional and appropriate language in an academic environment. I appreciate the opportunity to share this feedback and hope it can be taken into consideration for future programs.

I really enjoyed the time we got to spend with our teams and how we had to work together on multiple occasions.

I really enjoyed this program

I really enjoyed this program. It was really fun, I especially liked evening team time and doing the habitat projects. Some of the events got changed fairly last minute and we didn't get to everything on the itinerary, but I still had an amazing and full experience.

Great experience

The staff was great, and my child seemed to learn a lot. I especially appreciated the social-emotional curriculum, and I thought the course overall was designed thoughtfully.

A test run of life on campus

My daughter attended the Envision program at the Culinary Institute of America. It was such a great experience for her. She’s interested in someday owning her own cafe, and she has wondered whether culinary school would be a good step for her. I’ve wondered if it would give her a college-like experience. Now we both feel more knowledgeable about what this potential future path would really look like! She learned how to make so many dishes, met some incredible new friends and got a mini test run of what life on campus could look like. 100% worth every penny!
