What made the experience great was there’s a lot of activities to do around the campus, I loved how we all collaborated and cooperated with each other to create our robots and our presentation. I met a lot of scholars and building relationships was a highlight of the experience. I would definitely recommend this to other students.

Wonderful experience, one dietary note for future travelers
My son attended the WorldStrides culinary program and I couldn't have felt better about leaving him in the staff's care. Everyone was warm, attentive, and clearly experienced with teens — genuinely trustworthy people, and the staff went above and beyond throughout the whole experience.
The program itself was excellent. The daily schedule was packed and well organized, and my son was so immersed in the activities that it was hard to reach him during the day — which, as a parent, is honestly the best sign. He loved every minute and came home talking about it nonstop.
One small note: early on, staff asked about dietary restrictions, and I mentioned my son is Muslim and doesn't eat pork. He ended up cooking with pork on a few of the days — I know a culinary program naturally involves working with a wide range of ingredients, so this is more of a gentle heads-up for the team than a real complaint.
Overall, the quality of the program and the genuine care from the staff made this a fantastic experience, and I'd happily recommend it to other families.

I think my experience was made great because of the people I met. I was a bit shy coming into the program and I felt relieved to not only get a great roommate but a really fun group of girls to hang out with. Also, I’m so glad that we got to keep stuff after the trip because we get to apply our skills outside of the classroom. I really enjoyed myself on this trip and it was really worth it in my opinion.

The camp was supposed to be for cybersecurity. Although this wasn't exactly the case, the camp and its wonderful counselors tapped into my daughter's natural leadership abilities and she thrived. And I love that.

Too much wasting time, not enough learning aeronautics
For example, our instruction book included lessons on public speaking and personality quizzes, but quite literally nothing on aviation. I mean nothing relating directly to airplane functions, careers in aerospace, etc.

The entire program and activities we awesome and we had fun every single day. The advisors we had at the Yale university made the experience even better, as they grew connections with us. The only two things were that some days the food was a little off but for the most part it was okay. The other thing is that the dorms had no AC and it got really hot and sticky and uncomfortable even if you had multiple fans on. The experience was great overall and I enjoyed it immensely. I’m truly grateful I was give the opportunity to attend this program.

Well, for starters, the review that I already sent a week ago that implied there were major issues has never been responded to. The communication regarding activities and or individual ratings are completely nonexistent. I can honestly say I have no idea what my kid did, learned, benefited from in any way other than what he has shared with me.

After months of far too many filler emails, the event itself was disorganized. My teen is passionate about history and politics, but she felt bored and rushed through the whole event. They didn't even do a tour of the host college. Overall not remotely worth the cost of entry.

This was truly an unforgettable experience! I had so much fun while learning and meeting new people from all over. One of my favorite parts was visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. Museum. It was inspiring, educational, and something I’ll never forget. Every activity taught me something new and pushed me to think bigger about my future. Contentment is hardly ever a word I’d offer for a teenager, but choosing this camp
Was about allowing my child a week when nothing else mattered but her love of horses and what a time she’d have if she and people like her could experience all the ways their aspirations could play out. She said it’s how school should be. Her passions to be a vet were validated and she was happy enough to make new friends, smile in pictures, and tell whole stories about her time away.
