I loved meeting all of the new people and learning new medical skills. I also loved my group leader/teacher he was amazing! I wish there was more hands on learning and more trained professionals like we were promised in the letter. I would love to have gone somewhere with the robotic dummies that we could practice on because everyone I talked to was expecting to do that and was disappointed when we found out we weren’t. But overall it was fun and I enjoyed it!

I loved my experience during the NYLF med and health session at UCLA. I had a great time meeting new people and making some hopefully long term friends. I learned so much about medicine and I was able to get more insight into what I might do in the future. The UCLA campus was beautiful, the food was great, and the people were all welcoming.

My leader, Roman, made my experience at Georgia tech so much fun. He was always lively and a great instructor. He made sure that we understood instructions and helped us to the best of his ability when we needed help. Also, Matt was very helpful too and a very funny guy. He kept us on schedule but also made sure we enjoyed our experience. Overall though everyone was nice and fun besides the kids who were mean but they were reported and had a talk with the big bosses. Also outside time was short but fun and joyful I just wish it was longer. Also if we are going to go on walks we need to shower after. Nobody wants to be stinky and sweaty after walking for a long time outside in the heat. Also better food. I barely ate all week because the food sucked.

I sent the below email to Envision during the camp week and didn't receive any reply. They already had my money, so that seemed to be the end of their interest. After the email was sent, they took the kids all the way to New York, but had no agenda and just let them roam around. There are so many business related things to see in New York. What a waste of a trip. -- Hi, My daughter is at the business camp at Yale this week. The guest speakers have been great. However, overall the camp has not met our expectations. The class is being taught by someone that is not qualified so they are just reading a textbook all day. Also, the class size is too large to be effective. In addition, my daughter and team finished their project 2 days ago and are just sitting around. How is that an acceptable use of their time and my money? As a less critical note, the check-in process was worse than any of the over 50 camps she has attended. I am very disappointed by the experience and wanted to tell you directly before putting a review online.

If your Looking for an educational experience I would not recommend this program and instead go to a more local program. But if your hoping for your child to gain friendships and something to this summer then this might be for you! Althought I paid a large sum, this program felt severly underfunded somehow and most of the things I "learned" I could've done cheaper. BUT i did enjoy the communal aspects and loved the friendships I gained. The staff were very friendly though and tried their best
