This is Hack Job

No This is Hack Job, I did not approve or authorize them stealing my contacts then sending wire transfer request to my bank or spoofing my emails. Stay Away Report as a scam and delete anything from this. Reply from Gainrep 11 hours ago Hello, Gainrep is a platform designed to simplify the process of obtaining professional endorsements. Our users can request endorsements from their contacts, including via email. * I clicked on link to endorse, and it asked for my email Name and Such, It is not as simple as giving someone a review, Gain Rep Hi Jacks your contacts and spoofs emails However, simply signing up does not automatically trigger any endorsement requests. What the evidence shows 1. Gainrep steals your Google contacts A cyber‑threat analyst documented that Gainrep immediately pulls your Google contacts after login and uses them to send messages. 2. It sends emails that look like they came from you Reports describe Gainrep sending unsolicited emails to your contacts “on your behalf,” which is exactly how spoofing scams operate. 3. This is consistent with email spoofing behavior Spoofing = forging the “From” field so an email appears to come from your address even though the sender never logged into your account. 4. Victims report being tricked into signing up People describe receiving fake invitations from “friends,” signing up, and then having Gainrep message their entire contact list. To send requests, users must take several deliberate steps: provide explicit consent THIS IS TRICK PART 1 , check the box labeled “I confirm and authorize Gainrep YOU THINK YOU ARE CONSENTING FOR GAINREP TO SEND YOU EMAILS AND SO YOU CAN ENDORSE A CONTACT NOT TO send invitations to my contacts on my behalf,” and then click the appropriate button to proceed. THERE IS NO SUCH BUTTON If you haven’t completed these steps and still noticed invitations being sent, please let us know so we can investigate further. If you’ve accidentally invited your contacts, you can stop any future invitations by visiting the My Network page. PROBABLY ANOTHER TRICK GOING TO YOUR PAGE! We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. HAD TO CANCELL CREDIT CARDS AND DISPUTE A CHARGE SINCE YOUR HACK!

Contact Hijacking

Contact Hijacking: Once you sign in with Google or a third-party account, it automatically accesses your contact list and sends mass requests "on your behalf" without your explicit knowledge. Phishing & Spam: Your contacts are targeted with fake endorsement or professional networking requests.

Hello, We’re sorry to hear about your negative experience with our professional recommendations platform. We’d like to mention that just signing up doesn’t lead to sending invites. Instead, to send invites, it’s required to perform several actions, including expressing explicit consent, marking the checkbox “I confirm and authorize Gainrep to send invitations to my contacts on my behalf,” and finally pressing the appropriate button. If you haven’t performed the actions above, please let us know at [email protected], and we’ll conduct an investigation. If you have accidentally invited your contacts, you can stop all further invites on the “My Network” page. Apologies for the inconvenience.

⭐ (1 star)

⭐ (1 star) — Unauthorized emails sent to my entire contact list without consent I never authorized Gainrep to contact my business contacts. Without my permission, a company representative used or obtained my contact list and sent unsolicited emails to those individuals on the company's behalf. This is a serious breach of trust and privacy. I have filed complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General. I would strongly caution any business from sharing contact data or granting this company access to their accounts. Proceed with extreme caution.

This site behaves like a phishing site…

This site behaves like a phishing site accessing contacts without permission and demanding money from them. I regret the moment I ever clicked on an email from this highly dodgy organisation. Avoid at all costs and don’t trust them with your data.

Do not Accept anything from this…

Do not Accept anything from this website or email. I’ve been hacked on my phone for a year now. This group of people are legit creeps. I use Xfinity WiFi the one you can purchase every month. I got this email around 4am followed by a honk outside my apartment After I accepted this email my wifi would disconnect on my phone whenever I was In my room. Then honks will continue to happen as if someone was watching me through my phone not making this up. These people are feds. Thankfully I moved from that apartment and the WiFi disconnection has stopped. Still I know that after receiving this email my privacy has been I big factor to keep. I now have tape on all cameras and microphone on my phone no joke. The people that are behind this website is the US government.
