Run away from Gateway!
Run away from Gateway! If you're a first-time (or not) homebuyer, DO NOT EVER GO WITH GATEWAY! They will never remove Primary Mortgage Insurance (PMI) from your account. I have been paying pmi for 2 years, even though my home value has increased well beyond the loan-to-value ratio that they mention. I have provided Gateway with every single item that they have requested in order to remove PMI, yet they consistently respond with additional requirements.

It is my first time to deal with this company. The processes are a bit easier.
I have been a loyal customer with…
I have been a loyal customer with Gateway Mortgage for over ten years. I specifically asked if they would sell my mortgage and they said they don't. Well they just did and they sold to the worst possible company, "Specialized Loan Servicing", basically nothing but loan sharks. My recommendation for everyone is to find a different mortgage company, you cannot trust Gateway Morgage.
