GoFundMe wants you to make monthly contributions by default, AND they automatically tip themselves 17%. The moment you go to remove the tip, the page "authorizes" the donation and tip you were trying to remove. Then, you have to start googling for customer service, as they intentionally don't have contact information anywhere to be found.
If I could leave less stars I would. This is the worst app I've ever used. Honestly it's a bunch of crap. And trying to cash out? Forget it. Their system doesn't work at all it is retarded and it honestly doesn't work. You'd think with such a big name is GoFund me that they would have fixed simplistic issues by now. Awful experience and terrible customer service. I highly do not recommend.

I only had to wait about five minutes for a live interaction with a human member of the support team. The member spent quality time looking at my issue. We continued our communications via email after he assured me they would fix my issue. Further instructions were emailed to me from another team member. The first member also added some finishing touches to the communications. I'm a happy customer.
The score was for the way they dealt with my request for of the tip to be refunded. After the donation has been made, then the question should be asked Yes/No. If no then the question can be asked with the regards to the donation being gift aided. If you say Yes to giving a tip then go through that process. I wonder how many tipped by mistake. However when it was raised it was refunded without question.

I am unable to verify my UD as thru the App I can't even reach my Fundraiser which is frozen. I can't Add payout details. You send me numerous emails, I click on the link and it takes me to my half built Fundraiser which I can do NOTHING with. I talk with annoying AI and get sent a list of clock here click there when none of that works. I respond to your email. Bounced back. Referred back to AI. Where is the SIMPLE email address to speak with a Human about the entire issue ! I will NEVER use Gofundme again. Its too automated with no easy assistance when you need it. And no my funds are stuck in eternity!
I had a very positive experience with GoFundMe. The support team was professional, respectful, and patient throughout the process. They listened to my issue, responded clearly, and helped me add the beneficiary to my fundraiser when I couldn't do it myself. Their communication was trustworthy, and they followed up until the issue was resolved. At this point, the only remaining step is the transfer of the funds to the beneficiary, Mr. Massoud Ranjbar. I would appreciate any information about how long it usually takes for the funds to be transferred to the beneficiary's bank account after all verification steps have been completed. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Horrible non existing customer service!! NIGHTMARE!! No real human to get any answers, but they always receive their good chunk!! The transferring of funds from my GoFundMe account to my US bank's checking account paused, a "Peter" has been asking silly questions about if the funds were going outside the US, who was the beneficiary, information they already have, but still I answered twice, and "Peter" still doesn't release the much needed funds to help homeless creatures after a natural disaster!!! Maybe "Peter" doesn't like Dogs and Cats..... In any case they got paid but I am still waiting for the remaining funds to be transferred, with no one specific reason for the pause. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS NIGHTMARE SERVICE OF GOFUNDME!!! AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE, AFTER THEY GOT PAID OF COURSE!!
After the confusion of routing and account misentry. //Funds were received to the account. I had another AI interface... low and behold real person communication. And today an other bold attempt navigating the website to update?change banks. ""By submitting this review, you confirm it’s based on a genuine experience and you haven’t received an incentive to write it."" My friend reads, 'incentive," the response is always, "where is my money?"

What made the experience great was I inadvertently deactivated fundraiser before I was able to complete it. The person I chatted with found the solution reactivated the fundraiser.
I set up the acct, Promoting the acct on Facebook, Instagram & posters on tic tok however no one took to it. The only donation was from ME, THE ADMINISTRATOR!!! It really made me feel as if no one had compassion or empathy towards our circumstances. Aside from this, The entire process was simple and efficient. I also appreciate the opportunity to attempt assistance. Thank God for true FAMILY & FRIENDS!!!
I am sincerely having a hard time dealing with typing and texting. The problem is still not resolved after literally spending over two days and 7 hours texting. I have stage three cancer, and it's kicking my ass
