I was given my hair in very poor quality. I do not recommend to anyone. I will leave photos wherever I can to warn people. It’s a shame because I have ordered from them for YEARS. I spend $300 and up every purchase.

Her given hair is my favourite natural hair extensions company. I am a loyal customer since 2020. I get a lot of compliments and people get confused that it’s my hair even when I tell them it is not because it is that good. I have purchased the kinky straight and kinky clip ins and I still use them till today . I recently got the mix textured coily and curly upart wig. And it is absolutely gorgeous hair. High quality and not to mention that they have so many options to choose from. And their customer service it top notch! Overall positive experience with shipping as well!

I have had only good experiences with this hair company. I've ordered several headband units and with the right care, they can last for well over a year; as a matter of fact, I just retired one that I had for over 2 years. For those that may have trouble with the hair, dependent upon the texture (3B/4A or 4C), these textures require a lot of care and moisture so you may need to refresh twice a week, that's why I always have a spare. The other thing that I found is that you just just co wash and not put shampoo on the unit or if you do use shampoo, maybe use every other month - I try to avoid shampoo.
Great Hair, Great Price!
I got my ombre kinky hair about 2 weeks ago and I decided to try it out for a bit, before reviewing it! 2 weeks in and the hair has not lost its' luster and I am still absolutely loving it! The color was the exact match to my hair(which is ombre and the texture is super soft! I got it at 30% discount sale, so the price point was just right! I am a first time Hergivenhair customer and I am totally impressed!
Quality!
I’m not the type to leave long reviews, but I can't speak highly enough of their quality. First off, their customer service was amazing. They were incredibly helpful and were always quick to answer any questions I had. And let's talk about the textures - they are spot on! As someone with natural hair, I was blown away by how well their textures matched my own hair. It looked so natural and blended seamlessly with my own hairline. I've also tried their other textures and they are just as amazing - from coily to kinky curly, they've got it all. I can't recommend this Her Given Hair enough.
The Kinky Blowout Ponytail is LIFE!!!!
I bought the kinky blowout ponytail, because I wanted something a bit more long lasting than braiding hair for a quick updo and style. I have thick hair so I was looking forward to seeing how the drawstring ponytail would work as opposed to a wraparound ponytail. I really love how thick and soft the ponytail is right out of the package. It has two combs and the drawstring is a bit long (which is my only con). I’m going to order another kinky coily/curly ponytail for a different look. I love this brand!!!!!!
5 Years Strong with HGH <3
I originally bought my coily wefted hair in 2018 and made a wig out of it. The packaging was sleek, efficient, and versatile as I was able to use the box to store my wig when I was not using it. Each weft was carefully packaged in a protective bag. They also included a hair care pamphlet so that you would know which products were best to wash, manage, and style the hair. From 2018-2020, I wore the wig pretty often then kept it in storage without washing or combing it for a year. In 2022, I decided to use the hair for my wedding and literally all I had to do was detangle the hair with water and it reverted right back. Just to show the hair some extra love, I used a hair treatment to bring back the integrity of the coils. I wore the hair in its natural state as a upart wig for my rehearsal dinner, then had it blown out and put into a fancy bun for my wedding ceremony. Months after my wedding, I washed the hair again (it was able to revert back to the juicy coils that I had 5 years ago) and created a headband wig that I am currently wearing as I write this review.RUN, do not walk, to get this hair!
I purchased my hair on January 7,2023…
I purchased my hair on January 7,2023 and yet to receive my package. I communicated with a customer service rep via email 9 days ago (February 8, 2023) and was told they are waiting on the factory to share the status of my package. Today is February 15, 2023 and still waiting! In my entire life, I've had to wait this long on a package.

$12 SHIPPING FEE did not appear until after I submitted my payment information. The SHIPPING FEE should be appear in the shopping cart. It is DECEITFUL to list the total amount due in the shopping cart, ask me for my payment information and then add a shipping fee on top of it. List everything upfront so I can decide if I want to pay it.
Very disappointing
So I ordered from hergivenhair because I thought a had finally found a wig brand with good curly hair. I bought the 16” v part wig and it blends pretty good with my natural hair. However, every time I wash it, it sheds like crazy. And it tangles and creates knots when I wear it and sheds even more.

Hergivenhair is NOT the Same
Something has changed drastically! After over a year of purchasing the same unit, I received an order that was clearly NOT the wig I ordered. I attempted to explain it was a different wig, from length to weight—with no luck. Unfortunately, what was my FAVORITE natural hair brand has become a major disappointment. Customer service could have saved the relationship, but they insisted on telling me “I’m wrong.” Black women, find a Black-owned company based here in America!!!

Hergivenhair is my absolute favorite hair company. To date, I’ve purchased several units and haven’t been disappointed. The hair is always manageable and doesn’t shed. I also enjoy the additional services this company offers to their customers.

Her Given Hair is my favorite wig company! The wigs are beautiful, natural hair textured that look like my own hair. No one would ever guess it’s a wig! They are great quality and come in small and medium caps and you can order it dyed black if you choose. Saves me the trouble and mess of dying it myself. I highly recommend this company for my naturalistas out there.
The Clip-ins
I have been using hair extensions/clip-ins from Hergivenhair since 2018 and I love it. The clip-ins last long (when taking good care of it of course). I do color the hair extensions and moisturize them. I wear my own hair in a light brown shade so these clip-ins look very natural and blends well with my own hair. Happy with my purchases!!

Hello, i’m french west Indies girl and still use HGH extensions since 4 years. I always be satisfy by the hair quality. The curl pattern match so well my natural hair. People think that’s my real hair ! The maintenance is so easy with products I use for my natural hair. I dye the hair, straigthen them and they always keep the curls. I have been ordering wigs from hergivenhair ever since I had my baby. She is now almost three years old. Mommy life is very difficult and I did not have enough time to spend taking care of my natural hair. The wigs are super easy to take care of and look so natural.
