To be honest

To be honest, these shoes are really great, but I think the tongue design could use some improvement. If they could achieve a truly snug fit, they'd be fantastic for running and acrobatics.

Appalling customer service and returns

Appalling customer service and returns. I ordered a couple of pairs of hobibears. They are gorgeous shoes, no mistaking that. If they'd fitted me (I have awkward feet!) I definitely would have kept them. I am currently trying to return them and on my 3rd email so far. Each time I keep being offered some pathetic amount instead of returning them. I know full well I have to return them to Germany which is annoying and wish I'd known this before ordering - but I want a full refund. I've now been told to take photos of the shoes so they can check they've not been worn, and then they'll give me the return address. I just want my money back. I will never use hobibear again, despite their shoes being amazing. At this point in time, I'm cynical about ever seeing my money again. I would certainly not recommend buying from hobibear.

My son loves the shoes

My son loves the shoes, though a bit half size bigger. I'm planning to buy another pair andnthe first one i got will be mine LOL

Return policy a lie! Don’t buy.

They run very small. 30 day free return policy is a lie. They will offer you 30% to keep shoes you don’t want. What a bargain! China. Don’t buy.

I was sent the wrong size of shoes

I was sent the wrong size of shoes. I waited weeks for them to arrive. Terrible customer service. They would not issue a refund. I won't be purchasing shoes from this company again.

They run on the bigger side

These shoes look like high-quality shoes. I ordered a 5 1/2 and they are not true to size very disappointed in that. Way too big

Awful quality shoes and the returns…

Awful quality shoes and the returns process is pretty much impossible. I ordered too quickly and didn’t double check reviews. Don’t make the same mistake.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I ordered what I thought would be my size but the shoes didn’t fit. When I asked to exchange them, they offered me some BS about selling them on or keeping them and then giving me a discount on the size I wanted (to obviously save them money) instead of telling me how I could exchange them. When I told them I didn’t want to do that but wanted to exchange them, they just the previous information. They obviously just want to sell shoes (duh) and take as much money while boosting sales numbers. Such a shame because I’ve heard great things about their shoes but I won’t be buying from them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

My shoes were not delivered properly

My shoes were not delivered properly, which resulted in the package being stolen. The customer service is atrocious and just replied back with pictures of a delivery? And the delivery service was equally as frustrating to try and deal with. No resolution from either. Waste of money and no shoes to show for it.

Return policy sucks

The shoes are really nice but the devolution policy is horrible, and you are stuck with the shoes because returning them are way more expensive than the shoes. You better buy from amazon, where you can safely return them.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered some shoes for my son for school in 2 different sizes. Read that we paid for returns, which was fine. Didn't realise that the returns were to Germany! It took many emails back and forth to finally get the postal address for returning, they kept trying to get me to keep the shoes and sell them on myself. I finally get the address to arrange the return, and they tell me I must use Fedex. Got a quote for £167! The 2 pairs of shoes only cost me £70 in total so I won't be using Fedex to return them. I've since emailed to ask if I can use a different postal service and they have blocked me from emailing them. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Never order from them!

Nice looking trainers - poor customer service

Nice looking trainers, good width of toe box. More cushioning and support than my barefoot shoes - but that's what I wanted as I've been getting toe pain. These are shorter than I expected - I wouldn't run in them but they're ok for walking around. I've had to put some cushioning on the inside because the stitching is right where my bunion is. I'd originally ordered a different style but after two or more weeks I hadn't heard anything so emailed and was told they weren't able to send them so asked me to pick a different style. Looks like they often let you order things that aren't in stock but don't tell you. Disappointed that nobody contacted me about that - they're not great at communicating. Once I'd replied saying which ones I'd have as replacement I didn't even get a response. They did refund the price difference and send these ones though - so all in all it took about 3-4 weeks from first order to receiving these. Nice shoes but I probably wouldn't buy from these guys again due to the poor communication and stock issues.

Dishonest company

Bought a pair of sneakers. First the packaging I received them in was not great: not a shoe box like shoes usually come into but a sort of plastic bag, wrapped in plastic. They look good and comfy but sizing is completely off (despite following the measurements advice). Impossible to get hold of them for a refund despite following their returns policy. I am now stuck with a pair of shoes that I can't return, can't get refund for, and can't wear either. These are not the signs of an honest company.

I strongly advise avoiding this company. They sent me the wrong size, and instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they expect me to pay for the return. The cost of shipping the item back to Germany is higher than the value of the shoes themselves, which is completely unreasonable. Their customer service is a joke — they delay responses, avoid accountability, and clearly try to wear you down so you give up. On top of that, the return address they provided looks suspicious, and I genuinely don’t trust that I would ever get my money back if I sent the item there. The website presents itself as a UK-based business, but the product is actually shipped from China. The quality is also very poor — the shoes feel like cheap plastic and are not worth the money at all. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. You risk losing both your money and your time dealing with them. I would recommend staying well away. Return and refund is not available with this "company"

Appalling returns process. You are baked into a corner by the company insisiting you FedEx back to a given address, in my case Germany. Or they offer a 15% refund and suggest you sell the shoes! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
