I’d strongly caution anyone considering…

I’d strongly caution anyone considering Hone Health to think twice about the customer-service side of the experience. My biggest issue is that I’ve found them extremely unreliable when it comes to basic things you’d expect a healthcare provider to handle correctly—like sending lab requisitions, getting those requisitions uploaded/available in the appropriate lab portal, and making sure the paperwork actually makes it where it needs to go. When something goes wrong, getting help is another problem entirely. Responses can be painfully slow, and it often feels like you’re stuck waiting on an automated system rather than being able to quickly reach someone who can actually fix the issue. For a healthcare service, that’s a pretty serious problem. When labs and medical paperwork are involved, “we’ll get back to you” days later isn’t good enough. And this doesn’t appear to be an isolated complaint. There are multiple Reddit users describing similar experiences with missing labs, delayed processing, unanswered messages, voicemail-only customer support, and long waits for issues to be resolved. Hone may work fine for some people, but based on my experience, I would not rely on them for something as important as making sure your lab orders and medical paperwork are handled correctly and on time. If you’re considering them, I’d do your homework and look closely at the customer-service experiences—not just the marketing. These reviews are paid for.. if you leave them a review here they discounted the service price. These reviews don't reflect reality.

Dr. Russo is a top-notch provider.

The doctor is professional and knowledgeable. He takes the time to review results before consultations and always has a solid treatment plan. Great service from the organization and very organized.

Exams explained

Dr Swain explained everything she saw on my exams. I noticed in the pre-consultation questionnaire were a lot of items the doctor didn’t read. I know this because she asked things I had written specifically. Overall the consultation shed light on my condition and I see a light at the end of a very long tunnel called menopause.

More Thorough Than My In-Person Doctor

I really appreciated how Dr. Russo took the time to methodically walk through each of my test results and explain what to expect from Hone and my treatment. It's notable that he spent more time with me during a telehealth visit than my regular doctor does face-to-face. Also, the text reminders for upcoming appointments and the detailed prep instructions for testing and physician Telehealth sessions were flawless.

Advocating for Self

I have been undergoing testing with my primary doctor since February 2026. After my ablation, I began experiencing symptoms consistent with menopause. Although I was told my levels were “normal,” my body told a different story. Speaking with Dr. Santorufo helped me realize I wasn’t imagining my symptoms, nor was I wrong for advocating for myself. Every physician has a specific focus within their practice, and not all are equipped to fully interpret or articulate the nuances of what a patient may be feeling. Today, I finally felt heard and that brought real relief. Please advocate for your health. No one will do it for you. Seek second opinions, explore different providers or platforms, and don’t hesitate to ask questions. I’m grateful I did.
