Still Best of The Best Support

Good product, but disappointing support after the Liquid Web acquisition

I purchased the Kadence Lifetime Ultimate license for $999 in January 2026. Before the acquisition by Liquid Web, my experience with Kadence was very positive. The product itself is excellent, and when I had questions, the support team was responsive and helpful. Since the acquisition around May 2026, my experience has completely changed. I have opened multiple support requests, but after receiving the automatic ticket confirmation, I never received any real response. I followed up several times, but there was no resolution or communication. To be clear, my issue is not with the Kadence product itself. I still think it is a very good tool. The problem is the lack of support when you need help. For a Lifetime Ultimate license costing $999, I expected reliable long-term support to be part of the value. I hope the support experience improves, but potential buyers should be aware that support has not matched my expectations.

Amazing Free Support

I had an issue with my site, and I thought it was the Kadence theme. It was not. Nonetheless, Brent W. helped me to find out what the problem was. We went back and forth with messages for a week. He was extremely helpful, detailed, and kind. He guided me day by day to find the actual fix, and we found it. In a world where nobody cares, finding someone so helpful was unreal. And the most amazing thing is that I am not a paying user. I'm on a free plan. Still, I've got a much better support than on other platforms where I do pay (looking at you, GoDaddy). So again, thanks Brent and thanks Kadence!

No refund under '7 day no questions asked refund'

Decided to try Kadence under the '7 day no questions asked refund' and I bought a $99 license. The day after I bought the license liquidweb had an outage and none of the starter templates could be downloaded, no errors just blank screen. I spent a full day removing and rebuilding Wordpress thinking I had broken something. I logged a support case which was answered after two days confirming the outage was on their side. Because I had wasted so much time, I decided in parallel to cancel and get my money back, I sent two emails to the 'accounts' team, on 29th June and 3rd July (4 working days apart) via the support form. Both have been ignored, it's been over a week and no reply. I've had to contact them via live chat and simply been told 'I can reach out to the proper department and have this escalated'. It seems the 7 day money back guarantee is worthless, they'll just ignore you and avoid giving back your money. I'll escalate this through my bank and claim the money back.

Excellent theme with excellent customer service! I have been using Kadence for over a year now and the theme has been great. On top of that, the customer service/tech support is always excellent: quick replies with helpful information.

Solid product, excellent support

I've been using KadenceWP for my own and my client websites for several years now and was honestly a little apprehensive about support quality after they announced their company changes. I recently had to reach out to their support team for help on something, and Archita blew me away. Not only was the response prompt and exactly what I needed, but they sent through a custom walkthrough of the steps to take so I didn't need to click around and try to figure out what was meant by the steps. So glad I signed up for a lifetime license when I did--one of the few that I'm still using on a regular basis!

Kadence is not what is use to be

I have to be honest Kadence Wp was a fantastic ecosystem. Now with Liquid web everything is a mess. I am moving away from kadence. I am so sorry to leave them, but it is now a horrible experience. I have bought before a liftetime license but with the new venture captital fund I have no access to future updates, if I wanted I need to upgrade. Such a pity because now I will move also my backups to another solution. I was using Solid Backups.

Incredible Tech Support

The Kadence people absolutely stand behind their WordPress theme! Brent Wilson, the Technical Support Agent, was amazingly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I couldn't be more grateful for his assistance!

I do not recommend

Liquid Web acquired the company a few months ago, and the transition has been disappointing. Since the acquisition, there has been a total lack of communication and no new feature updates. Most concerningly, they are now violating the original terms of the lifetime license by withholding new features. I strongly advise against purchasing any of their products.

I renewed my premium subscription and…

I renewed my premium subscription and they have marked my account as a free account, i can't get a response from anyone on this since i guess i'm listed as free even though I paid in March and their social media hasn't had a post since 2025. Chat bot is useless, never connects with an agent only points to filling out a free form, which again, if I paid for premium I should have access to premium.

The best customer support!

Choosing Kadence was one of the best decisions I made for my website. The customer support itself is worth getting this. Thanks to the team that I was able to do what I wanted to do. I will only delve into the free customer service kadence provides, not any other services. The customer service was top tier, was helped very thoroughly by Darian who helped me solve an issue which ai could not help me on in any way, shape or form so glad to see these services still exist and will remain relevant!
