This is the honest review I was looking for when I was preparing for NCLEX RN. Kaplan was what my school used and I really wished I put in the full amount of effort when I initially had the access. I paid for the 3 CATs+Qbank and I would have to say it definitely was a huge factor in helping me to achieve my goal of passing the NCLEX!!! Kaplan has a really great and detailed courses. The Videos instructions are really detailed, feels just like attending lectures. They not only teach why things are right, but also why wrong are wrong and how to recognize " trap answers". So you are not only learning a subject you are learning how to be a good test taker too. The giant Textbook that is included is also extreamely helpful.

Kaplan’s bar prep provides an excellent basis for any examinee’s studies. The lectures provide well rounded content while the regular integration of multiple choice questions and essays accelerate learning momentum.
My favorite part of the course was the unlimited MPT and MEE feedback from experts in the field. While feedback on essays are tough, the pressure to understand rule statements alongside the graders’ strict requirements for in depth factual analysis helps turn you into a better test taker, and yes they are meant to test you. Overall, I believe Kaplan has your back in fueling your fire for eventual bar passage.
If you plan on using Kaplan I do recommend supplementing this review with a resource that has NCBE questions (I used adaptibar). I would also would spend time upfront perfecting rule statements into your top 100 rules based on MEE & MBE (for example SMJ & PJ you should know cold, hot, warm, frozen, etc.).

Worst experience! Still ongoing. After a week of having paid for it, we still don't have access to the resources. Allegedly it was caused by a conflict of emails after having used the same email for Barron's material. I understand problems occur; however, it is unacceptable that it is still not fixed. They manifest no urgency at all; meanwhile, the test date is fast approaching. Given the quality of customer service/technical support, I would not recommend Kaplan.

The Kaplan test prep was very helpful and strategic in helping me answer NCLEX questions, especially ones that I did not know! I definitely feel more prepared for the NCLEX and feel better when studying by myself. I had an amazing experience with Kaplan test prep I am a few months out and decided to take the online courses sooner than later I think it made me feel more confident and gained a lot of knowledge on what I need to know for preparing to take my NCLEX-RN exam. PASSING NCLEX MADE EASY.
Hi, I am RN from Kenya.I used KPLAN NCLEX-RN prep to prepare for my Illinois BON Licensure. It was such a crush programme going to work at the same time preparing for Exam too. I chose KAPLAN self paced learning for 6 months. However,the first time did not go well as I got A Fail when I did the exam in March.Mistake I did is that I concentrated on other easy prep materials giving >70% whenever I did exam test thus concentaring less on KAPLAN that used to score me 50-60 at most. Thest score I can rember is scoring 65 with KAPLAN in just a single occurrence. After first dissapointment,I bought another KAPLAN-RN Prep extension for 3 months running from October to December, This time round I critically and objectively went through the KAPLAN practice exams and everything that was required of me .I maximized the use of "Decision tree" in all my practice exam.Morever,this time round,using this exam answering techique really gave me s boost and confident in answering priority questions.With the first attempt I did not realize the important of decision tree,I just thought by having the content you were good to go. I thank Almighty God that with my second attempt during the month of December,2023,the computer shut down at 85th question and I was much relaxed something that did not happen with the first attempt. I highly suggest Kaplan-Rn prep for RNs preparing for NCSBON Exams.

The online platform drops very often, and they take FOREVER to fix it. There is INEXISTENT customer service. Would not purchase any prep courses from them again. Material is good, but so is the one from the state. Not worth it!

Purchased Series 7 prep materials from Kaplan, a few things to mention before I switched to Knopman Marks (who I have used in the past with success):
1) Kaplan course materials are incomplete and subpar, especially when it comes to teaching the options portion of the exam (which accounts for a significant weighting).
2) I received my book almost a month late - after correcting an initial incorrect shipping address and alerting them, they initially responded in that they will ship new materials. Customer service ended up re-shipping to the wrong address and when I asked them to please stop shipping it there, they completely stopped responding on email. I tried multiple times with UPS to get the package held, but with little success. Ended up reporting Kaplan to BBB at which point they re-engaged in the dialogue until they went silent again.
3) Would not recommend Kaplan and looking back, its probably also why the financial firms that I have worked at as well as close friends of mine, do not use Kaplan.
Overall, I wouldn't rank Kaplan high on either the quality of material or their customer service.

Your drivers are terrible! truck#26254 ran me into the median and came very close to hitting me on 23N because he was trying to get into the passing lane but I was there.he done this on purpose because I watched him look at me through his mirror. He was also speeding and tailgating every car in his path. I ended up being beside him at the rathmel light before the 270 on ramp! He was flipping me off and yelling racial slurs! Pretty sad that you have this individual working for you. He dont need to be on the road in a car let alone a 18ft box truck! I will be contacting your office ASAP
