DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Please save your money! I signed up to help with one of my college standardized test. I got match with my tutor very quick but was not a good “match” at all. Every time we meet I just answered questions on my own and sometimes I would ask questions and my tutor would not respond (honestly sounded like she was driving or doing her dishes). We would just go over all of my answers at the very end which was such a waste of time because we never had enough time for her to explain or to work though the questions I was struggling on. I had three hours left whenever I was trying to get a new tutor but was not match for a long time so I decided to cancel and try to get a partial refund with the hours I didn’t use because it is an expensive program and I am unfortunately a broke college student. I was able to cancel my membership, but within seven minutes they declined my refund with no explanation. I am still trying to get a refund and currently very upset with the service that I got with Varsity Tutors.

Charged for tutoring -- website shows no bill, no hours
They charged us for 2 months of tutoring even though their website shows no hours available and $0 due. It says the next billing isn't until January 2027.
When I called to complain they said they couldn't refund the amount and suggested we do a lot of extra tutoring. If I had known we still had hours being billed then I would have suspended the account.
