I sent my Canon 28-105mm f/4-5.6 USM EF…

I sent my Canon 28-105mm f/4-5.6 USM EF Mount Lens {58} to KEH Camera after receiving a quote based on the photos of the item sent. I did not approve the final offer, and KEH was supposed to return my lens to me. A different lens in very poor condition was switched for the lens that I sent to them. When asked about the substitution KEH claimed that they receive so many items that they cannot speak to what they returned to me. Basically, they sold my item for top dollar and gave me nothing in return. Dishonest business practice.

Product was almost perfect

Product was almost perfect . Product got delayed by 2 days (Fedex) when rcvd battery wouldn't charge. Contacted support new battery is enroute. Battery had enough juice to set camera up and take a few pictures, so far very happy and worth 5 stars.

KEH is an amazing resource. I've never bought anything from them that wasn't better than expected. As long as they are around, it's unlikely I will ever buy a new Canon lens.

I don’t buy used cameras and lenses from anywhere else, because KEH has always given me a good deal. I’ve been a very satisfied customer with them for years. This time I bought a 18-200 dx VRII lens in excellent condition. I was not disappointed and the shipping was fast.

Product was described as "Like New Minus" and that's exactly what it was. Looked like it had been sitting in a bag in someone's closet. Still like new stiff action on the lens barrel and shifting knobs. Couldn't be more pumped.

Our FIRST & LAST time ordering…

This was our FIRST & LAST time ordering from KEH. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX80 Digital Camera we ordered arrived with a completely worn and scratched screen and scratch on lens and all sides of the physical shell shipped... For people who do not know KEH, we were expecting a "reconditioned" camera is good condition. We know KEH is covered by the "small print" and we are contesting the fact that it was used, only that selling a device in such poor shape needs a better flagging system especial when the gift went to a teenager who went traveling for the summer. Of course we called and emailed and got no reply...
