Customers frequently complained that their coffee makers constantly broke down, leaked water, or completely stopped working after only a very short period of regular daily use. Many people also experienced deeply frustrating issues when trying to contact unhelpful support teams regarding rejected warranty claims, expensive replacement costs, or missing order information. Some reviewers were happy with the actual coffee flavor, noting that the prepared drinks were sufficiently hot, rich, and flavorful. A few consumers additionally mentioned that certain customer service representatives were surprisingly polite and caring when handling their machine inquiries.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible! Purchased a essentials plus machine 5 months ago. Today it started smoking and smelling like a short happened and now does not work. Called customer service. They offered me a 35% off coupon on their website. Went to purchase the same essentials plus and I says I could not apply the coupon (apparently because it was on "sale") I called customer service and said I don't want a different style and 90% of your machines are "on sale"!!! I stated, your "sale price" is the same price I would pay if I went to Wal mart and purchase it off of the shelf! Why would I wait 7 days shipping to receive the product when I can go to Wal Mart and purchase it 5 minutes from now?! Got the run around. Don't think I'll be purchasing a Keurig again. Nespresso might be my next purchase

Number one reason I I gave them a…

Number one reason I I gave them a one-star which they don't even deserve that when you want to get something like a coffee maker and the person you love she loves coffee you get a really good one not the most expensive one I got her a k cup Duo that was $117 $ granted she would never allow me to spend $117 on a coffee maker or would she spend $117 on a coffee maker but that's her not me she's more important to me. and if I got her something she really loves good for me because I did something great she was so happy about that she's always wanted to Keurig with the ability to have a pot of coffee if she chooses to have a single cup look making an assembling of a Keurig and the United States is more money less money for the company but when you decide to cut corners and make the consumer think that doing your best to make the best product and that's what pisses me off I've had two different cures within a last 5 months period and they're both pieces of junk same issue only a little bit of water coming out through the coffee pot and not giving what you should be getting either 6 8 10 or 12 oz cup of coffee I just called Keurig so they're going to send a shipping labels to my email address and a big amount of time to be wasted two to three days to get a shipping label on my email address then they want me to ship it back to him so they can tell me that I abused the machine or something like that which means I'm going to be more pissed then I was before I started the call to Keurig it's not like I found a Keurig in the dumpster and decided hey I'm going to call Keurig and tell them my coffee maker is not working I actually bought both of them and I'm so dissatisfied with both of them and there's different companies out there that won't treat me like a criminal because they are going to accuse me of intentionally breaking the machine so if I don't get what I want for the special lady of my life then I'll never buy another Keurig so this is my review buy it don't buy it but I wouldn't buy it I wouldn't even let somebody give it to me for free they should have just given me some kind of barcode or something that the Walmart can scan or whoever I decided to go to just to get me another one Keurig is a let down to say the least

Chat feature is dogshit

Bro the customer service chat feature is dog shit, idk if it was just the agent I specifically had or if it was because of the script they have to follow but either way it was terrible. All I wanted for my order information email to be resent because I hadn’t received it and it took 20 minutes, first they took forever to look up my information and kept asking me my name and email even though I already said it and all you have to do it scroll up to see it again, then they misunderstood the situation thinking my order didn’t go through and said I have to go to billing because of a wrong charge, and finally at the third time when I clarified that I simply want an email to be resent, then finally after another like 10 minutes of waiting did I finally get the email, even then idek if it was the agent or if I got the original email that hadn’t sent for some reason. On top of that, the fake bs they have to say “thank you for your patience”, “give me a moment while I look into this for you” only works if you actually get shit done, not if you keep repeating it without actually helping

Keurig Customer Service Sucks!

Keurig brand and Keurig customer service are horrible. They said they would honor the warranty for the Keurig Crema that I’ve only had for a little over four months. They then said they had none available to send me. When I checked on the Keurig site the Keurig Crema was available. What scam are they perpetrating? I will continue to try to get answers. I’ll never buy a Keurig again. Horrible customer service. This is the second Keurig that went after having it a short time. Just garbage.

HORRIBLE!

I informed Keurig at the very beginning that the brewer was a gift and I had no receipt. Despite this, I spent over an hour on the phone repeating serial numbers and performing troubleshooting steps, only to be told at the end that a receipt was required before any assistance could be provided. Had I been told that upfront, it would have saved substantial time and frustration.

If I could give them a ZERO rating I would. STAY AWAY!

I purchased a Keurig K-Supreme Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker from Amazon on January 6. It is under warranty and 3 months old. It has failed. Not heating water and causes the pod to leak, and makes about 2 oz of coffee. Submitted a claim online. Called. I was taken through the most ridiculous "troubleshooting" process imaginable. They basically wanted me to disassemble the machine. They finally decided they would replace the machine, but it will not arrive for 7 days. Then, I get an email asking me to submit proof of purchase (I had already done this) and to take a picture of the tiny QR code on the back of the machine. I had already submitted the serial number. This is customer service avoidance. The rep I spoke to did not have a command of the English language. Very difficult to understand. In a nutshell, send everything twice... then I get an email saying it's "under review" and will take an additional 3 days before they decide whether to replace the defective unit (that is under their warranty). Ridiculous, convoluted, infuriating process. I'll never buy another one. A strong STAY AWAY from Kurig.

Don’t waste your time, or money!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating. I purchased a Keurig coffee machine less than six months ago, and when an issue came up, I did what any customer would do. I reached out to customer service. Not once, not twice, but multiple times through the proper channels. Every single time, I was met with silence. No response, no acknowledgment, nothing. At this point, it’s not even just about the broken useless machine. It’s about the complete lack of support after the sale. A product can have issues, that happens, but ignoring customers who are trying to get help within a warranty period is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of accountability and care for the people who are actually buying and using your products. I gave more than enough time and opportunity for someone to step in and resolve this, but that never happened. As a result, I’m now left with a product that isn’t working properly and no support from the company behind it. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Keurig to others. If something goes wrong, don’t expect any help .. you’ll likely be left on your own.

This is the worst customer experience...

This is the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. Starting with Saira in the Phillipines. Verified my proof of purchase and purchase date on the call. Still required written proof of purchase even though this was a gift. After gaining the copy of the receipt from my mother-in-law, it was still rejected. Let me show you why: We could not process your request due to one the following reasons: Serial number is not valid. Proof of purchase provided is not valid. Proof of purchase shows a purchase date outside of our 1-year warranty. Proof of purchase states brewer was purchased “Used.” Proof of purchase provided is not from an authorized retailer. These criminals are worse than an insurance company, DO NOT BUY KEURIG PRODUCTS!!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I purchased at 7:30pm one night next morning I saw it was discounted $45.00 so I called to see if they could give me the credit ooo no I didn’t buy it this morning so I asked could we cancel my order and let me reorder oooo no it’s in the system You can’t cancel it’s still there not shipped. So I can ship it back and by that time it won’t be 45.00 less. I will never buy another Keurig from anywhere. Do not buy one ! They are greedy and make it so you can’t do anything. They won’t refund won’t give credit and shame on them. I will be returning when it gets here and buying a different brand from another supplier.

Cannot cancel orders + deceptive return policy

I ordered a coffee maker from Keurig.com. Within hours on a Sunday (non-business day), I called to cancel. Keurig refused and told me to call back after I received the machine. After I received it, I called again to return it. Keurig told me I must pay for return shipping out of my own pocket. Their website advertised "FREE SHIPPING" but never disclosed this policy before purchase. I have not paid the return shipping. I refuse to. I have filed a BBB complaint. Buy from Amazon or anywhere else that offers free returns. Keurig's return policy is deceptive. Update: The company eventually offered to pay for return shipping. Case closed.

2 strikes and your out

I bought the red Keurig compact coffee machine that was on sale at Walmart for $49. I had bought the same one a couple years ago and it didn't last long and it stopped working and I thought I would just try it again because I like the color, size and the price was good. This machine was worse than the first one it only lasted about 15 times and quit working. Unfortunately I had it in the box new for a month or so while I used up my other coffee and the receipt was pass 30 days so I could not return it. I will never buy another Keurig product. There are some similar brands out there that I am going to try but never ever Keurig not getting three chances.

keurig 1550

2 months old and out of warranty and quit working Keurig service was hard to understand and passed the buck for help to a second person who also did not speak English and then they said it was because I did not use Keurig pods my last Keurig was 15 years old when it quit and I never used Keurig pods don't even know where to get them and the internet says use any pods ?? the new ones are just junk

Did not provide a return shipping…

Did not provide a return shipping label, product was deceitful saying that it’s high pressure coffee maker, but it is not, it just imitates a high pressure coffee maker no difference in strength of coffee, very disappointing, what’s even more disappointing is they made me pay 60 bucks just to get my money back, terrible considering they’re a multi million dollar corporation, will not buy again

Had the following product 2 1/2 years

Had the following product 2 1/2 years, cleaned it regularly and yet the clean light never stopped blinking and finally the pressure to push the water through stopped. $110 Dollars for this piece of junk. Run from this model as fast as you can: Keurig K-Supreme Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker. Slow when working properly and doesn't last long. Try another brand, there's so many to choose from.

I bought a Keurig coffee maker from…

I bought a Keurig coffee maker from Target, and just 2½ months later it overheated and completely stopped working. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal—I’d just return it to Target and get a replacement. That’s where the real problem started. The serial number on the machine doesn’t match the one on my receipt. I have no idea how that even happened. We only bought one unit, the box was brand new and sealed, so I can only assume something went wrong at the store—either a mix-up or a system issue. It seems like whatever was scanned on the outside of the box didn’t match the actual unit inside. Because of that mismatch, Target refused to return or replace it. Even worse, they made me feel like I was trying to scam them, which is honestly pretty frustrating when all I did was buy a product that failed after a couple of months. At the end of the day, I’m stuck with a broken coffee maker and no help from either Keurig or Target. I just want a working product and for someone to take responsibility for what clearly looks like a tracking or quality control issue.

Order Lost by USPS - No Refund by Keurig

I ordered K-cups in November. They were shipped and I was billed for the purchase. However, I never received them. According to USPS tracking, they are in a postal service warehouse, but the postal service cannot find them. It is now 4 months later and USPS says that they still cannot find my order. Despite this acknowledgement from the postal service, Keurig still will not give me a refund for my lost order.

Inept customer service

In March 2026 I spent over an hour on the phone with "customer svc" explaining that my machine was defective; the descale light would not turn off. He said he would ship 1 descaling solution which never arrived. The light is still on. I wrote the Keurig President - no reply. Why can't they have a troubleshooting dept - or train their agents to do same? There is no customer service.

I purchased a keurig coffee maker with…

I purchased a keurig coffee maker with the whole pot or single cup option! Neither works half the time. On the pods I have to start at least twice per cup & on a full pot I have to start at least 3 times to get a full pot. I would not recommend this coffee machine to my worst enemy

3 machines in 5 years

3 machines in 5 years. I'm done. This isn't bad luck — it's a pattern. Keurig has perfected the art of producing an innovative, convenient product with absolutely no quality control behind it. Each machine lasts just long enough to push you past your frustration threshold before it dies, and then the cycle repeats. Customer service? Save your time. What you'll get is scripted sympathy and a 25% discount off RETAIL price — which is typically 25% above what any major retailer already charges. Net savings: zero. Net respect for the customer: zero. What makes this worse is who's behind it. Keurig is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, which also owns Green Mountain Coffee. These are not small, struggling companies. This is a billion-dollar enterprise with the resources to fix these chronic quality issues and a leadership team that has clearly chosen not to. When a company of this size keeps producing the same defective product year after year, that's not an oversight — that's a decision. I'm not buying another Keurig machine. And given their ownership structure, I'm done with Keurig Dr Pepper and Green Mountain products entirely. There are better-built alternatives that actually last. Vote with your wallet. I did.
