We exist solely to provide our members with affordable financial services; and members work together to achieve their financial goals.We were originally chartered as the Burlington Employees Cooperative Credit Association in 1935 and served the employees of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. Over the years, our field of membership has grown to include family members, retirees, select groups of occupation and association, those living or working in Lancaster or Seward County, Nebraska and those related to a member or someone within our field of membership. Not as helpful as they pretend to be

They aren't as helpful for people who don't have money. They offer good rates for those that don't need to borrow any $.

Personal, Supportive, and Refreshingly Genuine Banking Experience

I had an amazing first-time experience with Liberty First Credit Union! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being truly listened to, not just given generic, corporate responses like I’ve experienced at other banks. One of the loan advisors took the time to walk me through my options, explain everything in a way that made sense, and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout the process. The team made the entire loan application process smooth and approachable, and the Loan Officer Manager was wonderful to work with as well. They valued building a relationship with me, which is something I hadn’t experienced elsewhere. It was clear they were interested in helping me succeed, not just treating me like another number. I’m so glad I chose Liberty First, and I’m looking forward to continuing my banking relationship with them!

Awesome Establishment.

Bridgette was super nice, walked me through all the steps of the loan process, and never once made me feel “less than” due to my low credit score. I highly recommend Liberty First.

I’d simply have to say your staffs friendly personalities with honesty and being up front even though at the time my credit was very poor… but I’m determined to have a good credit rating in the near future…

I couldn't be more pleased with Liberty First Credit Union.I have used their services for over 5 years. The new LaVista location is convenient for me. Banks don't do what this credit union does for me. Josiah is beyond good. Good service goes a long way with me. If you are looking for a great Credit Union Officer then please call Josiah.
