Ordered a quirky ceiling light from them. They were slow to process it. After about 10 days, I got an email saying that it was being flown in from Canada and would take 3-7 days to arrive following customs clearance. When it arrived, there were skimpy instructions in poor English and no pictures of the finished product. However, my electrician worked it out and it actually looks good and works as intended. So, 'a mixed bag'
The lights that I purchased are good quality and suits my contemporary decor. Why I haven't awarded 5* is that the products took a long time to arrive and secondly therecwere no installation or wiring instructions included with the product. These were later emailed to me separately but only after I had notified the company.
Arrived in about 3 weeks to Uk. Bought the macaron LED lights x2. Yes they are very cheaply made but do look nice once up admittedly. Bare in mind when purchasing that you’ll be assembling them and wiring them up. Wires are very thin which made joining a pain. Main negative is that 1 light has came warm white and the other is cool white , there were no options for spectrum so I’d of thought they’d of both been identical which is a shame really. Please don’t order if your not comfortable assembling. Other than that they are bonnie once installed.
17.06.2023: Came into the kitchen on hearing the Mrs making a bit of a commotion, to see her pulling out what Litfad had described as a 'Contemporary Solid Wood Folding Bar Stool' costing £93:00. And the cause for this outburst of emotion from my wife?;...... the neatly flat packaged, folded up bar stool turns out to be quite a decent constructed piece of equipment. It folds up really flat for very convenient out of the way storage; and it certainly IS.... made from a solid feeling light golden colored teak wood which is a long lasting, strong durable wood.👍 The finish is (dare I say) good; with the actual seat itself is so smooth and polished, that I was thinking it needed a bit more of a coarser finish to give more grip to my ass when seated. In recognition of this the company includes a thin mat with an adhesive fabric strip included to further secure the mat for that required extra grip, so you feel more securely fixed in your seat against the seats little back rest. I have subsequently purchased an inexpensive adhesive rubber sheet for the seat as a more permanent solution to the seats grip, rather than relying on the mat which could go missing at some point. All in all; I give this stool provided by Litfad a solid 7/10 for its design and quality. Shame about the time taken to receive the actual delivery.👎 Whether this is to do with the delivery company Litfad used, or the supplying of the goods all the way from China i wouldn't know; but ultimately customers like myself will direct their impatience towards Litfad when expecting a delivery within a certain timescale. This is an area the company needs to Iook at to reduce dissatisfaction with their customers, and get those all important, good reputation making 4 and 5 stars ratings. Litfad; with better delivery this review would have received a higher rating from me, so sort out this area for your own long term benefit.
Ordered two bar stools in April, they finally arrived middle of June. If I had known I wouldn't have ordered. They are not as good quality as expected. One arrived with one leg snapped so absolutely no use. After waiting so long I didn't have the energy to start a dispute so will buy more from a UK company. You live and learn, I will never use again
I have ordered a wardrobe and waited over two months to get the damaged door and have a massing part… But customer service is very responsive over email, so two stars, not one.
Don't waste your hard earned money. The items and prices appear great but your order will sit at "processing" forever. The expedited shipping, extra, still takes 20 days by airmail. Not sure if they ship from Mars but 20 days to fly an item from China to the UK is ridiculous.
After buying a large rug and being unhappy with the quality LitFad have offered me my money back. I will accept the offer and give an update and even more positive review when my money is returned.
The only good was the table lamp. We were waiting for our delivery for more than 2 months. Our table came broken in half and the whole packaging was damaged. Plus it looked so much smaller and such an awful Chinese quality.... so cheap.. Don't buy from this company, you will be so disappointed
I am still waiting for my order I ordered over a month ago it not due until 27th May. There are lots of items I'd like to buy but I don't want to wait for ever for the item. Plus nothing is clear on delivery. I won't order again sadly.
I ordered a dressing table and stool in Feb-23. I sadly did not read any reviews before placing my order and only later realised that Litfad had such terrible reviews. I have rated them a 3 for the following reasons: 1 - delivery takes far too long. It took 56 days from placing my order to receiving it which is more my fault as i didn't realise i was ordering from China (I'm in the UK) 2 - their customer service was good in that they were communicative and responsive 3 - my stool arrived but all the legs are different sizes and this placed the fear in me from all the reviews i had read. 4 - my dressing table finally arrived too and it's actually beautiful and exactly what i ordered. I'm relieved that my order seems to be one of the few which turned out ok! I'm deliberately leaving this review as i feel we all go out our way to leave negative reviews when we've had a bad experience but don't always do the opposite!
Their delivery and courier info was non existent. I had to email them to find out where my chest of drawers were only to find out it had arrived at the courier company a month earlier. Nobody had contacted me. They finally tracked it down and then without any warning I get a call to say it is on board for delivery. I explain it has to go up two flights if stairs. No problem he says. Then he arrives and takes a look and says he can't do it. It's a very heavy 142kg flat pack. I send it back. I live on my own. I was not given any opportunity to pay extra for a heavy delivery. They turn up again the next day. Same story. This time I give in ad i can see i have the choice of either sending it back at my own cost or figuring it out feom here. He and I have to carry it from the truck. Major OHS issue here I feel. So the first part of this story is terrible. No communication. No warning. No.opportunjty to pay for appropriate help with delivery. My bro in law and his mate come over and carry it up two flights of stairs and we open it up. No instructions and over 120 screws and washers and bolts of all different sizes as well as 12 drawer runners and a whole lot of wooden pieces. This is not an IKea experience. There are literally no instructions and a very complex drawer unit to assemble from scratch. It required all 3 of us over many hours and we needed a drill and screwdrivers. We did it. And it looks wonderful. Very proud of our efforts given the zero starting point. But for $1000 I expected an assembled unit, with the appropriate delivery information and two people to deliver to the location in my house of my choosing. So you pay a lot of money for no service at all. Nothing. If it hadn't been for the two lads, I'd have had no chance getting this moved or assembled. And tbh, most people would have struggled putting this together with no instructions. I was lucky Jamie is an engineer and home Reno's is his hobby. The emails with Litfad were answered promptly. And they clearly communicated with the courier company at some point because it was located and found its way from their warehouse to the truck. And the unit itself is of good quality and very attractive. Even has soft closing drawers. But I wouldn't do this again. Way too many variables and not enough customer service. If there had been an issue such as a damaged or missing part, I can see from other reviews that I would have not been able to have that addressed without a lot of time, and return delivery cost. I'd recommend you go somewhere else unless you're prepared for all of the above. Oh and the delivery time wasn't bad. I ordered in early January. They emailed and said it would arrive afeelter Chinese new year and gave me 5% discount or an offer to cancel. And it was delivered to the courier within 6 weeks. But it then got 'lost' and if I hadn't followed up at the end of March, it would still be sitting in some dark corner of a warehouse somewhere.
The product is as expected, the price was a great deal, the delivery was as scheduled, the haulage company terrific. But a lack of instructions on how to assemble my bed,and other pieces, after having no furniture for 4 months was a bit too much to ignore. I was told to wait for 2-3 additional days to receive the pdf instructions. Why aren't the instructions updated from pdf, downloaded, printed and placed with the items before shipping them halfway around the world? Why does it take 2-3 extra days to get a downloaded file that could have been attached to my emailed receipts?
As I am a UK customer the delivery time was quite long but to be expected (coming from China) and to be fair I was notified of this. However, completely the wrong item was sent but at least the customer service was very good and got this corrected.
Total scam, don’t order anything from them. It is not in fact based in Europe as I was led to believe on their website. It’s based in China. With the quality that goes along with shoddily made Chinese consumer goods. I will give customer service a star for responding promptly and offering a 10% refund on 3000€ worth of lighting that is truly crap. I would have preferred a total refund up to 30 days as indicated upon ordering but was told that is not possible…. Save yourself time and money and order elsewhere 😉
The order to a while to arrive, but the goods were of a good quality and look great. The chairs were not the same material as we remember ordering, but fit in OK.
Since 27th of December 2022. I was sleeping on the floor because a bed that should have taken 45 days to come, came 5 and a half months late. Litfad customer service refused to give me a full refund on many occasions claiming the bed was on it's way when it clearly was not. Finally got it on a Sunday May 2023 without no warning so a good thing my family member was in to sign for it. One customer service gave me a 10% refund for the stress. The bed isn't the best quality, splinters are everywhere and they send you a ridiculous piece of not even a size A5 sand paper that was clearly torn for you to use on a whole bed, so you know I had to sort that out. The bed is small so my mattress doesn't fit and now I need to buy a new one because if I try to return the bed it will cost me, so at least I am off the floor 🤨. The planks didn't fit originally so I had to improvise as the top and bottom one had to be screwed in a certain way and because of the dents in so many pieces that were clearly not natural in the wood pieces I was turning over them trying to work out the best sides because I don't want to get hurt. Overall if I knew what this whole experience would have been I would not have ordered from them. But on the plus side at least I got something. The bed though I do not feel is worth the money. It is definitely overpriced. If a company doesn't meet the delivery expectations promised they should give a full refund because they lied many times saying they couldn't stop the order which wasn't true. Customer service needs work.
Like everyone else on here I should have read the reviews first. I ordered 3 x Metal foldable Pink shelves SKU 227124316, they arrived in an inner package that was not damaged, clearly left their warehouse in this state. They were completely rusted with paint bubbling across every surface, so bad they had buckled. I am unable to obtain a refund unless I freight back to china and even then I doubt I would see my money back. They have a 14 buyer guarantee but it does not detail the terms. If I could rate zero I would. Update 10/2/2023 Litfad has continued to negotiate with me in order to obtain a full 100% refund without returning the goods at my expense. I will post again with a positive review, once I have received my refund
