Crushed, alone, in debt

My attorney told me that my case regarding grandparents visitation was a "Slam dunk" My husband and assisted in the care for the first 2 years of each of my grandchildren's lives. We taught them the alphabet, we potty trained them. When the case was filed, my daughter filed a response in May 2025. Her response said that we never had a relationship at all, but I did cut off all contact in 2021. That's when she moved to a different city in our state.and refused to take any calls. The girls were five and three. They had no way of contacting me on their own. Our case was heard in November 2025, I repeatedly ask what do you need from me?? I was consistently told nothing. You have these rights available to you. Actually, when we got to court, they wanted proof.. I had numerous things I could have shown them from my cell phone, but they would not accept that because they want everything printed out for the judge to see. I had numerous witnesses I could have provided to speak on my behalf, I was told I that wasn't needed. We had over 5 months prepare for the hearing, they continually told me I didn't need to provide anything that my testimony would be sufficient. The judge basically laughed at my attorney, said he was" ill-prepared". I had no idea, I trusted what they were telling me. Now, I'm sitting here over $8,000 in debt, with no grandchildren. No hopes of seeing them at all.

$4,000 to respond to the courts on a simple Jurisdiction request?

Where do I even start with this scathing review? First off, I went to marble because they advertised no sneaky additional costs, they advertised that you get a total cost breakdown and that was it. I talked with 2 other attorneys on the legal process on what I should do. Very informative on different ideas. The retainer fees were more than I anticipated but at least with a retainer fee you get that money back if it’s not used. I paid $4K for 3 steps that I wanted to get going. 1 step got completely cancelled. I was told that I would be expected to pay additional $400-600 to serve papers on top of what I paid. When I asked why there was additional charge, they stated that they can’t anticipate how much it will cost to serve paperwork. I only have 1 step done. I was met with so many AI chat bots after I was told I would get 24/7 to 2 different paralegals to help with any questions I had. I was completely overcharged for the work was done and now I might have to go somewhere else to get things done properly having to spend more money. Don’t waste your money with marble, it’s more of a headache than it is worth

I currently have a case open

I currently have a case open. And not one time have anyone called me to move forward in the process, they DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, & they DO NOT RETURN CALLS! I have scheduled endless amount of appointments and still no response. And to top it off, I keep getting updates of different attorneys taking the case so no attorney is consistent with the case, they disappear and are never heard from again! What I am going through is very serious and heartbreaking, not once did ANYONE help me with what I paid for! I paid over $2,000 and have not been helped yet. They are bad for business DO NOT HIRE ANYONE TO REPRESENT YOU FROM THIS LAW FIRM. I rate them a 1 out of 10 only because they answered the phone to COLLECT THE FUNDS!! I AM WORKING ON A REFUND AND IF I DONT GET MY MONEY BACK IN FULL I WILL GO LONG MEASURES TO GET MY FUNDS BACK PLUS MORE! DO NOT HIRE MARBLE LAW THEY SUCK!

Best lawyer ever helped me in my time…

Best lawyer ever helped me in my time of need. Thanks.

I would stay away from Marble Law

I would stay away from Marble Law. They charge a premium fixed rate but then subcontract at very low rates to the attorneys who works with them. This lead to 'doing the bare minimum' work and I found myself essentially having to advocate for myself against opposing counsel AND my own attorney as they just wanted to get this done and over with because the incentive structure is not designed for quality outcomes. Big mistake in engaging with them.

My attorney has been encouraging

My attorney has been encouraging, optimistic, and proactive in her approach to the case and in her responses to me. She appeared to be well informed of the applicable laws governing my case. I could not have chosen a better attorney to represent me.
