BEWARE — DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!
I placed an order for a washing machine and a TV through their official site. After purchase, support contacted me and confirmed delivery, giving me a specific date and time window.
They never showed up.
When I contacted support, I was told there were "internal logistics issues" and that my case was under review. I was promised callbacks multiple times — not one single callback happened.
Over the next few days, I chased them again and again. Every time, I got a different agent and had to repeat the whole story from scratch. Finally, they admitted the washing machine was out of stock — even though they had already confirmed delivery.
The refund for the washing machine came through partially, not even in full. As for the TV, the refund is still pending — waiting for the item to be returned to their warehouse. So I’m left with no products, no full refund, and endless excuses.
Bottom line: inconsistent lies, broken promises, useless support, and a refund process that drags on forever. Do yourself a favor — stay far away from this scam operation
Don't buy their cheaper line of phones (or any other ones probably).
From experience:
- call vibration is really too weak. EVEN THOUGH the notification vibration is stronger, you for some stupid reason can't make call vibration stronger in settings. AND EVEN through adb, hacking the value to max of 3, is still less strong than notification vibrations... Wtf?
- glitches on lock screen, doesn't show notifications or anything..
- calling to this device in some cases has a silent connection where you can't hear each other.
- annoying warning screens trying to install anything outside the playstore
- doesn't have NFC
- can't run a 3ds emulator
- weird UI
Xiaomi Poco, is a poco loco.
Was once a great company. No longer.
Fraudulent company with ZERO quality assessment.
They will sell products that are GUARANTEED to fail (as proven by THOUSANDS of reddit posts for a specific device with the SAME hardware fault) and then refuse warranty/service unless you pay half the devices cost.
The company has gone downhill quicker than the UK.
STAY FAR AWAY. The quality is absolutely terrible and I guarantee you'll face problems with in in 1-2 years as they plan.
Disgusting.
I am a Level 5 Veteran with 517+ days of loyalty to the Xiaomi community, yet I am being treated like a criminal by their "Global Support" (Sun).
The Problem: > The HyperOS bootloader unlock system is completely broken. Despite trying at exactly 22:00:00, the system fails with technical errors at 22:00:47. This proves the "quota" is either a fake placeholder or exploited by bots.
The Support Failure:
I have provided technical logs and specific error timestamps to Xiaomi Global Support (Ticket #0143013508). Instead of fixing the bug, "Sun" from support sends me copy-pasted templates about "security threats" and "hackers." They are intentionally ignoring a technical server-side issue.
The Verdict: > Xiaomi doesn't care about its most loyal users. They block your hardware and ignore your technical reports. If you value your freedom and honest support, stay away from HyperOS.
Xiaomi, fix your servers or stop lying to your customers!
Bought the Xiaomi 15 on March 10, 2026, been using it for a few weeks now. First impression was actually pretty good, phone feels fast, smooth, no lag at all, which I liked right away. Screen is really nice too, bright, smooth scrolling, good for watching videos and everyday use. Camera is decent in daylight, photos come out clean enough
But yeah, after using it more, you start noticing some downsides. Battery life isn’t great, it drains faster than I expected for this kind of phone(like Samsung S26, really). Also noticed some small bugs in the system, nothing breaking, just random little things that get annoying over time. Phone also gets warm during gaming or heavy use. Overall it’s fine, just doesn’t feel fully polished.
Will be using this phone further
Purchased a xiomi phone 2 years back. It was in the warranty when I noticed the issue. Took the mobile to the registerd service centre. The liera at the service center were charging me 20k for the fix of the display obviously I was unhappy to get the mobile fix. Today post 2 years attempted again for the fix of the mobile at the service center and the great mi has been amazing in making me wait since morning 10 am to 03 pm in the afternoon and then I have been advised to visit again the next day. Wow great service. You guys should shut the business. Samsung provides way better service both in regards to the mobile and customer service.
I will give minus 5 stars if I could.
Bought 2 electric scooters few month ago.
Both developed issues, both not drivable. Customer service its doing everything to void warranty.
Wont touch xiaomi products any more.
Why force a Chinese version of Windows 11?
I bought a good computer, but they forced me to take it with Windows in Chinese. The moment you turn it on, you can’t return it, and you also can’t change the language. So I ended up paying for a computer with an operating system in a language I don’t understand. Luckily, I was able to remove Windows and install Ubuntu instead—so that works.
Why force such a terrible system? You should offer the option of no operating system, or at least FreeDOS, rather than a Windows license that I paid for but ended up deleting the day after I received it.
I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro less than a year ago. And I really would not recommend the phone. I liked the screen size but it has terrible sound on calls and when I connect to my car to play music. Somethings I can't really specifically explain but it just wasn't a great user experience.
I think it was a good concept and I am willing to try another phone in like 5 years when they copy tech from other companies
I’ve used several Xiaomi phones and overall they offer excellent value for money. The devices are affordable, look good, and come with a lot of features that many other brands in the same price range still fail to provide. Things like camera options, battery life, and customization make them very attractive for budget buyers.
However, there is one recurring issue I’ve noticed. After a few months of use, usually around 3–4 months, the phone tends to slow down noticeably. Apps take longer to open, and the overall performance isn’t as smooth as it was when the device was new.
If Xiaomi could improve long-term optimization and keep the performance consistent, their phones would be almost unbeatable in the budget category. Aside from that, they are still a solid option for anyone looking for a feature-rich phone at a reasonable price.
been a Xiaomi user for a while, and i gotta say, the only thing worth using is the flagship phones, the midrange is okayy for the price but still a questionable performance and specs, and the low budget ones, are really a no-go, don't ever go and step in their low budget phones, you'll regret it in 2 years after, speaking from a person who use to have a redmi 9, 2 year after,it all broke down and the batteries are gone, but hey, it's a budget phone so i guess its alright
Bought a vaccume cleaner. After 2 months the charger didn't work anymore.
To get a new charger we had 2 send in the whole product instead of they supportet us with a new charger.
1000 emails where they send us the same information and didn't say why they couldn't send a new charger.
Our Xiaomi Vacuum X10+ robot vacuum cleaner, purchased for €900, broke down due to an internal software problem (fault) after 2 years and 4 months of service. The repair service proved ineffective despite promising to repair it at our expense (€256) and after 6 months of endless waiting (with the help of the consumer mediation service), customer service promised to refund the repair costs (excluding shipping costs) and also to return our unusable device to us. Not at all commercial and not at all confident in their products.
I have bought Mi S3 TV box from AliExpress with Global Warranty but Xiaomi UK doesn't want to cover Global Warranty.
I have email UK service centre they have replied we Don't cover Global version Warranty.
When Registrar warranty on Xiaomi UK website it says register warranty successfully.
I can register warranty so why Xiaomi UK can't do warranty support?
I was told UK service centre we only cover Warranty sold by Xiaomi UK Why supply to AliExpress, Amazon, eBay and many other suppliers?
Xiaomi a very cleverly abusive company out of many!
The Redmi Note 11S is already a very substantial downgrade from my in many respects better quality Redmi Note 8T (but this is a different story). Very carefully avoid to ever update any of the pre-installed applications like the file manager and especially not the system on any cheap Android phone! (I made an unintentional system-update on the Redmi Note 11S without even knowing how I authorized it. I only found out after the update via ChatGPT were to switch off the automatic system updates: settings/about phone/click on the symbol of the operating system/decline any immediate action popping up /click on the three dots in the top right corner/update settings/switch off any automatic updates. One can do this offline from the internet to heighten security. As necessary as this switching off automatic system updates might be it's not sufficient. To protect from system updates one also has to carefully avoid clicking on the again and again popping up virtual buttons on which clicked one authorises an immediate download of the dangerous update.)
If you do update the operating system usually there is no way back! Updating either the operating system or single pre-installed apps (originating from Xiaomi/Redmi/Miui) expect not a single advantage for yourself but in each case far-reaching disadvantages that are specifically designed to abuse the customer and his or her trust and legal rights! Especially after updating the operating system one will experience extremely detrimental functionality downgrades. One example: The integrated app 'file manager' after the system update doesn't display the pictures even the recently made photos as before. Firstly the displayed resolution of the pictures is fiercely diminished and one can neither look at them in the landscape mode nor zoom them to their original resolution nor rename them in their displayed mode. All these (and many many more) horrible and very deliberate and intentional downgrades by Xiaomi are masked from immediate detection by everything being operated in a (sometimes slightly mostly) quite different manner. To my perception this is highly illegal but of course where there are no complainants, there are no judges. And the judges are likely too occupied with 'securely' investing their salaries and cases involving more mighty people.
1. Manufacturing Transparency and Product Inconsistencies
Xiaomi does not publicly disclose which manufacturing facilities produce its Global versus Chinese market devices. Furthermore, Global variants reportedly contain undisclosed hardware downgrades, including reduced battery performance compared to their Chinese counterparts. Damn it, who knows where Xiaomi phones are made?
2. Software Quality and Development Practices
The Global software experience is significantly inferior to the Chinese version. However, even Xiaomi's Chinese ROM falls short when compared to competitors such as Oppo, Huawei, or Apple in terms of user interface and user experience design. Recent software improvements appear to rely heavily on AI-assisted development, yet the quality remains inconsistent. Xiaomi maintains separate regional ROMs rather than developing a unified global software solution comparable to Apple's approach. Additionally, Chinese users receive preferential treatment, including early access to beta programs a disparity that warrants separate discussion...
3. Bootloader Policy Changes
Despite these significant shortcomings, many users continued purchasing Xiaomi devices primarily for features like bootloader unlocking capability. However, Xiaomi has discontinued bootloader unlocking support in China and has taken legal action against employees involved in unauthorized unlocking services. This policy shift suggests that bootloader unlocking may soon be restricted or eliminated for Global devices as well.
