Your response to my previous post simply highlighted the hotel you selected, but it didn't address the main issue: why would you send someone to Savannah, Georgia during the peak of summer, when temperatures can exceed 110°F? There are countless destinations that are far more enjoyable that time of year—coastal Maine, for example, where the weather is comfortable and the lobster is world-famous.
Even more concerning, my previous review was removed. That makes it difficult to trust the integrity of the review system when negative experiences appear to disappear while the overall rating remains artificially high. - See your response - please give me your number to call. This was my second trip with Pack Up + Go, and I think it was even better than my first! I am a solo traveler, and Pack Up + Go took away the stress and anxiety of going somewhere new by myself. The activities planned were perfect for me, the recommendations were excellent, and there was enough downtime for me to stumble across some great places to explore on my own. In the age of AI and algorithms, I can confidently say that it’s clear that this trip was planned by actual humans. They asked me for feedback about my first trip, took it into account for my second, and I couldn’t be happier. It was so great to visit Philly!

I was SO excited for our pack up and go anniversary trip! It was our 10 year wedding anniversary. While the flight and location was absolutely wonderful, the rental car was extremely disappointing as was the activities planned. We were booked a Kia rio (which was TINY) and was suppose to put 2 kayaks on top which was just impossible and no way would even remotely fit inside. We had to upgrade our car to an SUV which cost SO much money. We almost needed to have the suv based on location, going up mountakns etc. Once the kayaks were loaded we then had to find a place to kayak, unload it all, put them in the water and then do it all again to take back and make sure everything was strapped down. It was ALOT of work to do! We were suppose to have a 2 seater kayaks and that was just not going to work for us, we always kayak in our own. A 2 seater kayak is more prone to tip. Thankfully the man working at the shop didn't charge us extra to switch to our own.
All the main roads we took daily were toll roads so we had to pay $15/day for that. Everything kept adding on more and more. And we had to buy insurance on the rental car incase anything happened. There were tons of "hidden fees" for rental. The restaurants were "ok". Nothing that was "omg that was so good". The hiking tour we could not make in time which was a bummer. Now, the hotel. It looked amazing online but when we got there it was kinda in a not so great part of town, homeless people right outside the back of the hotel sitting and wondering around. The bed in the hotel was on the floor so everytime you wanted to go lay down or go to bed you had to step up on a platform and to get down it honestly hurt my knees. The room was also TINY! It made me feel really enclosed and I did not like that at all. Overall the only plus to Colorado Springs was the beautiful scenery. I myself booked us a train ride up to Pikes Peak and a gondola ride up to a mountain, which obviously came out of pocket right then and there but to enjoy our trip I had to find extra stuff to do. Honestly, would not book again, just feel it was a rip off.

Had a wonderful time. Got to look at some beautiful homes. Lots of information about the surrounding area through the guides = very informative,likeable people. Lots of activities. Loved the restaurants but we canceled some of the dinners due to times booked. Husband couldn't shake work schedule wakeup time. Beautiful drive as well. One draw back was the nightly planes over head.

We really enjoyed our surprise trip to Colorado Springs, CO. The scheduled German birthday dinner was unique and delicious. The cog rail trip to Pike’s Peak was informative and enjoyable, and the view from the front seats was amazing! Our History and Food Tour was really interesting, and very tasty. We found several adventures from the recommendation list provided. Our personal research found the Garden of the Gods e-bike adventure which was a great addition. We plan to use Pack Up + Go again.

LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!My wife booked a 60th Birthday trip for me that we had to postpone due to a blizzard- the staff was so understanding and helpful. We switched it to an anniversary trip this weekend and it was awesome. Great extra activities, perfect B and B and over the top customer service . My experience with Pack Up & Go was top-notch! I was overjoyed with the surprise trip package because they had no idea, but they picked a state that was on my bucket list for years! The bed-and-breakfast option was a perfect fit for me as I simply wanted a brief getaway from all of my daily duties as a mother and director of a local nonprofit. Also, I was extremely grateful for the extended hospitality and booking support services when I unexpectedly missed my flight on the last day. I was able to contact somebody by phone and text and they were quickly able to rebook my flight and gave me an extra night’s stay at the same bed-and-breakfast because I invested in the emergency insurance. For both occasions of rearranging my travel logistics, they kept the same confirmation number as well for my return flight home. Lastly, I would add that the team did an excellent job with being intentional for my curated experience package and itinerary. I did every single thing they recommended excluding one cancellation simply because I needed some time to get it acclimated to the elevation difference. I highly recommend this travel agency for anyone who is easily overwhelmed with Planning, logistics, and everything in between. They literally have everything covered and I can’t wait to book another surprise trip with them!
