We drove 4 hours to both PGC camps she attended. There were closer PGC camps, but she wanted to meet people and build upon her basketball experience in different states. She made great friends and loved her time at both camps. The hear it - see it - do it approach was so effective that we adopted our own ‘hear it - see it - say it - do it’ approach to instruction at the school where I serve as principal!
Great experience for my son in addressing the intangible aspects of his basketball ball game.
The diligence, character and overall coaching/teaching abilities of the PGC staff helped to make my son’s participation a success.
Kudos to PGC, well done and very organized.
The experience this camp is, is unbelievable! I learned so many things from the sessions I would have never thought/learned of. This program is truly set in stone and has already helped me not only become a better player but person as well.
My three kids participated last year on their first PGC camp and two of them loved it and one of our kid no so much because of interest in basketball has changed. But for our two other kids PGC has been an amazing experience and success, it re-energizes them and recommits them to want to be special players. I highly recommend PGC camp, we made it part of our family vacation as we picked camps in locations we want to visit and explore. We have been to Canada, and Colorado with the goal of visiting other states as part of the PGC community.
I loved the grind, and meeting new players who share the love for the game and the same goals as me. My instructor and goal managers were consistently encouraging us and pushing us to be the best we can be. I recommend this to you if you want to get that 1% better, or stretch yourself as a player.
My son has attended playmaker camp, a fall shooting camp, and now scoring college camp. I love that they teach them the skills to improve their game, but also skills to be successful in life. Highly recommend!
Oir family loves PGC camps. This was my sons first overnight camp and I felt very comfortable leaving him on campus. The staff explained how players would be kept safe and taken care of.
My son came home talking about all the things he learned and how much fun he had.
I would recommended PGC camps to any parent with a kid who is in love with basketball!
Playmaker College is an elite camp experience for athletes. The amount of basketball they play and what they learn is on another level. My daughter and her teammate are excited for the next camp. Director Brig and his crew of instructors were knowledgeable and passionate about training all athletes. Preparing them to challenge themselves emotionally, physically, and mentally
By far the best basketball camp I’ve ever experienced. It’s not close. They are the Ritz Carlton of youth basketball camps. Communication is consistent and clear. Staff aren’t just trained, they are developed. There’s a massive difference. My son came home with a notebook of 20 things he learned from day 1. That’s not an exaggeration. That’s literally what happened. Beyond impressed with PGC.
Easy process for registration, with payment plan options, check list to prepare for camp, my kids loves his coach, and said how much fun he's having learning. From the court to the classroom sessions. We will definitely continue coming back to this camp.
Coach Rudy keeps kids in check and holds them accountable. Mr. Rudy is a great leader and I’ve improved so much this week it’s great at PGC. For a freshman CI has been a great leader to help us get better . And the lunch ladies work very hard and cook great food.
Both my kids have attended and will continue to attend each summer
Both my kids are PGC grads and we’re back for more. The plan is to attend this camp every summer. They meet and learn how to interact with other young people who are passionate about their sport and they do so in a safe environment packed with lots of life skills/ lessons that can be used off and on the court, taught by passionate, engaging, professional instructors and directors. PGC is a blessing and I’m happy that a camp like this exists to help reinforce what our family values.
Over the past few years I’ve had several of my players attend a PGC Basketball camp, and I’ve also been fortunate enough to attend as an observing coach. I can confidently say, PGC is the best basketball camp I have ever experienced, anywhere.
From the moment the camp begins, the energy is incredible. Every detail is intentional, organized, and purposeful. The teaching goes far beyond drills and fundamentals, PGC develops players mentally and physically at a level I’ve never seen before. They don’t just teach basketball skills, they teach players how to think the game, how to compete, and how to carry themselves as athletes and people.
The biggest transformation I see in my players is confidence. Players return believing in themselves, communicating more, taking leadership roles, and holding both themselves and teammates accountable. It has genuinely helped shape the culture of our basketball program, and even more importantly, I’ve watched these athletes become leaders within our school.
I recommend PGC without hesitation to every player and coach I speak to. Quite honestly, it feels less like a camp and more like a life-changing experience. As one of my players told me afterward, “It was the most amazing camp I’ve ever been a part of.”
I like the positive energy from the staff. My child had fun and made a few good friends. However, I'm hesitant to recommend PGC. It depends on where your child is mentally. My child's lack of confidence is their largest hurdle. The basketball skills PGC talks about are great, but their impact was minimal due to the confidence issues.
With such a large number of kids, my child was able to slip into the background on several activities. I noticed, but it was often missed by the counselors. This was the case at multiple PGC camps.
If your child is ready to put in the work and be a sponge to boost their game, PGC can be a big help. Otherwise, they'll likely have fun, but your money may be better spent in small group or individual specialist training.
My case may be extreme, but the mental development at PGC didn't meet my expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness behind your feedback.
I’m glad your child experienced positive energy from our staff, had fun, and built friendships — those are meaningful parts of the PGC experience. At the same time, I hear your concern about confidence and feeling like your child was able to slip into the background at times.
Confidence development is something we care deeply about, and it can look very different from player to player. Some athletes experience noticeable growth during the week, while others may need more repetition, smaller environments, or continued support after camp to fully internalize the tools we teach. Your point about group size is fair, and we are always working to help our coaches better identify and engage quieter athletes.
PGC is designed to challenge players mentally and physically, but it’s not one-size-fits-all. For some athletes, especially those navigating deeper confidence hurdles, additional small-group or individualized support alongside camp can be helpful.
We truly value feedback like this because it helps us continue to grow. Thank you again for trusting us with your child.
Sincerely,
Mano Watsa, PGC President & Owner
PGC is a camp that can not be compared to by others. Even though it is the only summer basketball camp that I have been to, it is still the greatest. I grew by crazy levels just from my first camp. PGC is not only a camp but an amazing way to spend your summer. I love their camps so much I wish they would make more than just 3 main one’s.
We are extremely grateful for the impact PGC has had on our son’s development as a basketball player. He attended the overnight camp this past summer and then returned for a weekend shooting camp in the fall November 1-2, and the growth we’ve seen—especially since the shooting camp—has been remarkable.
Before attending PGC, he was very hesitant to shoot outside the paint and mainly limited himself to layups under the net. Since the fall camp, his confidence and shooting mechanics have improved significantly. In just one month after the fall camp, he went from rarely taking perimeter shots to hitting seven three-pointers in a single game on Dec 7—something we never imagined would happen so quickly.
Beyond the skills, PGC helped him develop confidence, decision-making, and trust in his own abilities. The coaching, teaching methods, and emphasis on fundamentals truly work. We are so thankful for the positive influence PGC has had on his game and would highly recommend the program to any player looking to grow both technically and mentally.
Thank you, PGC, for helping unlock his potential.
PGC camps are the best. The focus on character development, hard work, leadership, and excellence will help players on and off the court. Players do need to be dedicated, but if your son or daughter wants to play beyond high school, I highly recommend attending a PGC camp. Your child will probably ask you to return the following year.
