Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the very helpful staff for providing exceptionally prompt, effective support and guiding users smoothly through various complex account or project challenges. Many people find the platform extremely intuitive, noting that the diverse templates and simple design tools make creating professional presentations exceptionally fast and simple. However, some customers also noted several unexpected difficulties with the website regarding automated trial policies, strict download limits, and limited accessibility features. Quick, helpful, actual humans on their customer service team set piktochart apart. That is in addition to their product which absolutely competes with Canva at a much more accessible price point.
In the past few years I have used piktochart for multiple school assignments. I would advice people to use this website, also because the support team is a very good help and they are very kind. If you have a question you get a fast reply, which is nice.
My free trial had ended, and I lost access to an important project I had worked. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to download it. I contacted Piktochart support and was pleasantly surprised by their IMMEDIATE response and helpful attitude. They kindly assisted me, and I was able to successfully download my project. Thank you very much for the support, professionalism, and understanding. Great customer service!
Piktochart is a great project to work with. It also has great customer service. They replied quickly to an email when I had a problem.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the manager who offered a full refund on our annual Piktochart subscription. An important reminder had inadvertently landed in my junk mail via Outlook, even though the initial purchase arrived in my inbox. I was navigating a very difficult personal period—from June to November 2025—as I managed a family health crisis that ultimately required my mutual resignation from my roles as a PYP Homeroom teacher and Grade Level Leader at our bi-lingual IB and WAS accredited school. During this challenging time, the manager’s understanding and willingness to process a full refund were deeply meaningful. Their compassionate approach demonstrated a strong sense of corporate social responsibility, something I greatly admire, especially in the Christmas season when many face additional hardships. The refund not only provided financial relief but also reaffirmed our trust in Piktochart’s values. The product itself proved to be highly effective and valuable. We used Piktochart to support a very successful PYP Exhibition event and to develop comprehensive curriculum map tools for our marketing brochure. The impact on our program and its presentation was tangible and meaningful, helping us deliver an enriching experience for our students and stakeholders. Thank you for prioritizing people and outcomes over rigid procedures. This experience has reinforced my confidence in Piktochart and in the integrity of your team. Wishing you all a peaceful and prosperous holiday season. Sincerely, Ken
Hi Ken, thank you for the kind words and appreciate your continued trust and support! We look towards having you on Piktochart again in near future. Have a blessed holidays season! :)
I have to say I had a bit of a shaky start with piktichart, but that was down to me not understanding what I was trying to do. However, the technical support, guidance and assistance towards me has been exceptional and very prompt. Just what you need when working to deadlines. Thank you team.
I would say the helpful information from the Pikochart team as they detailed many ways, on how they could support me through discussion and questioning, of the process at hand. It made me feel glad to know I can trust such kind people in cool apps such as this one.
perfect assistance to recover a visual accidentally deleted
First support team that truly helped me, saved my grades, excellent cooperation, excellent group of people.
The problem is that the free service includes basically nothing useful. I signed up to do a project, and was told to use this program. When using it, a lot of the features like lots of beneficial icons were locked behind the paywall, but that is fine. The first strike against the service is how I am only allowed two free downloads, which I think is unreasonably strict. The second and even bigger problem was that your projects are deleted after a week, with the website saying pay up. When I made my account, I was not told I was effectively signing up for a free trial. I now genuinely hate Piktochart and would never use it again. Consider what you get, it's expensive for no good reason, and the free service is barely usable. I am upset that I have lost my project and I refuse to pay the ransom to get it back (assuming it wasn't deleted forever). There are far better tools for making infographics, including Google Slides and paint.net. My recommendation is to actually make the free service usable. I understand locking some things behind a pay wall like better icons, but limiting downloads to two and only allowing me to make posters for 7 days is UNACCEPTABLE!
Hi there, thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m really sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced here, which is not what we wish for our users. We value you and want to ensure you get the best! Our current Free plan does have limits on downloads and time-based access, but I agree we need to communicate this much more clearly so it doesn’t feel like an unexpected “trial” or paywall. Your points are valid, and we’re taking them seriously. If you’re open to it, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] and I’ll personally see what I can do to help recover your project and make this better for you. 😊
Update in reply to their reply: this is false. They provided One extension during which time I asked for two downloads and while I waited for a response the extension was over. I asked for another one so that I could copy and paste my work rather than paying a huge fee to become a member just to download my documents and leave--and they refused. So this reply below is false. I wish it were true! Update #2: I gave in and upgraded--only to find that after all this useless back-and-forth and waiting for resolution, my visuals seem to have been deleted. Even days ago they were saying I needed to upgrade to access them; convenient that they didn't mention they had deleted them until after I had paid for a year's membership! This is horrifying as it was years of work, deleted, after hours and hours of wasted time with their customer service. Previous review: Still haven't had my issue resolved. The company has very few accessibility features, e.g. no alt-text, poor compatibility with screen-readers, which makes them not compliant with new department of justice requirements for education resources (I can no longer use them for syllabi). They also removed their free version and thus locked me and my students out of all the documents I've ever created, and will not allow an exception to the no-download rule so that I can leave this program and start over, even though it is already costing me massive amounts of wasted time and stress.
Hi EK, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly value and appreciate it. I’m very sorry for the frustration this situation has caused and just want to mention that we do value your support! As clarified in our correspondence through the support channel, we have already provided two extensions so you could continue accessing your visuals despite the recent changes to our Free plan. We hoped this would help ease the transition. At this point, any further extension would require an upgrade due to the updated limitations of the free tier. Your comments about accessibility — including alt-text and screen-reader compatibility — are incredibly important, and we’ve shared them with our product team. We recognize these features matter deeply, and we’re really sorry they are not yet available at the moment. We will keep you posted if this is available in the future! If there’s anything we can assist you with or if you’d like guidance on next steps, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to help however we can. :)
What made my experience amazing was how kind the staff and the responses were. They were really eager to show help and support. They also took time out of their day to make mine great. Really amazing job
Deleted all my visuals without giving me a warrning.
Hi Phiel, we are sorry for the trouble! Can you please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can look into this for you? :)
The team is responsive, and if a user feels they aren't heard, matters get escalated quickly, which I found impressive.
Really great customer service. Really responsive to queries and quickly resolve issues where they can.
Customer service is great. They are helpful and understanding. The structure of the basic/automated communications of Piktochart before their intervention should be improved though. Clearer communication with the user through emails on the limits of their account type and future deletions of projects (due to Piktochart policies) should be mentioned and made clear.
I had weeks of back and forth with Piktochart by email after they removed the free access I'd signed up with, used for years, and created dozens of documents with--meaning all of my documents were gone. They kept saying "we completely understand your frustration" but explained I was welcome to pay a bunch of money to get my documents back. When I posted a review here they finally responded and extended the free access another week. I wrote that I needed to download my documents since I could no longer use Piktochart--partly because they don't comply with the new Department of Justice accessibility requirements so we aren't allowed to use them for syllabi. While waiting for the problem to be resolved, my extra 7 days expired--and I'm back to square one. No way to get my documents, but more hours of back and forth down the drain.
They were able to restore a document I had lost very quickly! Great customer support!
