Twickenham branch Joana the bully

The manager of Twickenham branch Joana is a bully. The collection time for Too Good To Go was only 16:15-16:20. I arrived at 16:17. I told I was there for collection. My bag was right next to her. She pushed me outside in rain saying "We are closed! You need to wait outside!" The only explanation for her behaviour is either naturally evil or is raciest.

Exceptional Cafe

Terrific Cafe. Staff are exceptional, they are kind, warm-hearted to everyone. I am allergic to milk and soya so most of the food i cant eat but at this place I was able to have a smoked salmon, avocado and egg roll which was lovely, I had one of the cafes own can of pop which was raspberry and lime, it was lovely finally I went to order a dark chocolate and almond cookie which is one of their many milk and soya free products although when I got there they did not have one but they made the effort to get one from the kitchen warm freshly baked and best of all they gave it to me for free which is the second time it has happened to me this week of my 3 times I have ordered the cookie is this incredible customer service or what?ABSOLUTEY recommend going here

This is not Coffee

Killing time before my Eurostar at St. Pancras so thought I’d grab a coffee from Pret — big mistake. The service was awful from start to finish. They couldn’t even get the order right, and to make matters worse, two members of staff were constantly shouting at customers. Completely unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. And the coffee? I’m not sure what it was, but it wasn’t coffee. Sort it out — this is one of the busiest travel hubs in the country and this is the impression you’re leaving people with. You should be ashamed.

Terrible London City Airport.

London City Airport. Hardly any food on shelves, what was left looked dried up and nasty. Lady at the till was rude to customer before me. He made a purchase and asked for the key for the bathroom as it was locked and she said no it was going to be cleaned. He then asked for a spoon for his yoghurt and she waved him dismissively towards the area with the cutlery. Little exchange with me when I bought my yoghurt and drink, which was no problem. I was relieved to get something to eat and a seat as been waiting around the airport on a long delayed flight. There were three customers (including me) sitting eating and she abruptly came over and put up a barrier and announced the seating area was now closed. No manners and no respect.

I’ve been a regular at Pret for roughly…

I’ve been a regular at Pret for roughly twenty-four years, starting with the Notting Hill branch when it was half the size it is now, and continuing across London ever since. That kind of long relationship gives you a good sense of what is structural and what is accidental in a company. What has kept me coming back is not only the consistency of the coffee and food, but the people. At the Notting Hill branch in particular, the current team — Geru, Dhruvil, Sapta, Sunil, JB, Rewan, and Beni — exemplify what Pret does well at its best: professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness without intrusion. I should also mention Meron, formerly of Notting Hill and now at the Kennington High Street branch, and Leo, a former manager at Notting Hill who later worked at Ladbroke Grove and Hammersmith, whose calm competence and kindness left a lasting impression. Of course, these names also stand in for many others over the years whose names I no longer remember, but whose care and competence shaped the experience just as much. That continuity matters. At some point recently I caught myself doing a very rough mental calculation of how many coffees this adds up to over the years and decided it was better not to be too exact. Reliability, care, and consistency over decades are not small achievements. Pret has earned my loyalty quietly, through daily practice rather than slogans.

Insipid Greek-ish Chicken Baguette

Revolting Greek-ish Chicken Baguette. Where was the flavour in this insipid apology for a Greek-themed dish? With its highly-processed chicken, watery, cheap and tasteless olives and underwhelmingly flavourless feta, the whole essence of food worthy of a Greek God oozing with herbs and olive oil was missing. A huge disappointment.

PORTION SIZE SHRINKAGE FOOD ARRIVED COLD

I haven't ordered for ages due to Pret discontinuing their breakfast ciabatta. It seemed that while my closest branches were not offering it the Kings Road one did but I'm too far away and my carer can't wait to collect. Today I browsed through Deliveroo and the Paddington store was offering the egg, sausage and bacon ciabatta. I ordered but was phoned to be told they don't have it so I opted for their ham and cheese croissant which I confess was a huge favourite. The staff member offered a complimentary snack which I accepted. Normally I'd order a latte but at 80p for an extra shot (without it too weak) I decided to buy a mango pot as the minimum spend when delivered is £10. Unfortunately the wait time seemed unnecessarily long for an item usually sitting under hot lights. When it arrived it looked very overdone and was lukewarm to cold. My carer heated briefly but the taste wasn't good. Not only has the size shrunk but something was definitely off. Before becoming disabled I used to go to Pret every day. Their 99p filter coffee was my favourite not just because it was cheap but it was delicious. My last breakfast ciabatta before they discontinued was a disaster and today very very disappointing. It's too expensive and the quality isn't there. This has much to do with government policy where chains like Pret and restaurants are faced with mounting overheads. It is up to companies like Pret to fight the government and landlords so that they can operate profitably and offer quality at fair prices. Today's experience was my last.

Worst sandwich I have ever purchased

I purchased a chicken and avocado sandwich at Pret a Manger at Gatwick North Terminal to take on my flight to Jersey. The best before was the day of purchase, It was the worst sandwich I have ever bought. The bread was thin and dry, falling apart as I tried to eat it. Filling minimal, avocado brown. In the pack there was a lump of bread that was nothing to do with the sandwich I purchased. I will not be buying g from Pret again.

Worst staff ever

Worst staff ever. Over the year they have gone down in standards. Toilets are always faulty when it gets closer to the closing time. Advice, tell your staff asking to use the toilet is not a privalage and it’s the law you need to offer. Never stopping at any of your cafes to have your overpriced coffee

Always polite and helpful staff in…

Always polite and helpful staff in Leeds lands lane store. When I had a problem with the toilet keypad, 2 staff members were very obliging to get the problem sorted. Chos a new sandwich today, Greek-ish chicken. I really enjoyed the combination of flavours, especially the hint of mint. Keep up the good work.
