We visited Pret A Manger at Tewkesbury Designer Outlet yesterday. They were almost out of sandwiches and there did not seem any rush to replenish them. I watched people come in and leave again because there were no sandwiches. Tables not being cleared either.
The staff at the Queensway, London shop were courteous, welcoming, and efficient. I was very impressed. The food is overpriced and only adequate, but that's not the fault of the staff.
Im done with these cowboys. No chicken in the chicken Laksa soup. Cappuccino latte all tastes the same. Stopped buying there drinks years ago as I always thought they were overpriced
We ordered two hot chocolates and they were cold and not chocolatey, I then asked for them to remake it and they just added a pump of chocolate syrup in. Which did not make it better.
Posh Cheese and pickle - absolutely not. Bland cheddar (?) cheese and minimal pickle. Added to an ever shrinking portion size today will be the last time I visit a Pret.
Really disappointing on all fronts.
Yesterday I visited two Prets in central London. The toilets in one were closed and the staff said they didn't have the time to fix it so they had closed it.
The toilets in the other (190 Strand) were VILE. The one I was forced to use was unisex. The container for sanitary napkins was so full it could not be closed and stank in a way that's impossible to describe. The floor was covered in liquid. The paper dispenser was broken. It can only have got this way through LONG TERM NEGLECT. This is not an episodic failure, it's a service-by-design norm. I spoke to the staff. They say they're too short-staffed and that YOU won't ever fix that.
For all your wholesome rhetoric, THIS is the real measure of your values and priorities.
You are as disgusting as your toilets, because , through careful resource management, you knowingly keep them that way.
My experience in pret in Shrewsbury today was appalling. I ordered a cheese toastie...yay they have gloves I thought...so the fella who was in front of me payed cash. So I was expecting him to put clean gloves on..NOPE. he used the same gloves to take my cash and slice my toastie.
How is this still allowed pret...get to grips with your ruddy staff...then as a result of me complaining the fella shouts to me I've put new ones on now...A BIT LATE AH.
So unfortunately as a result of me complaining they stuffed up my latte..cold weak and no froth..
Disappointing Service at Pret A Manger – Heathrow T5 (Airside)
Very poor experience. The staff member serving me was rude from the start—no greeting, eye-rolling while I ordered, and acted like I was a nuisance when I mentioned the Pret app. No “thank you” or “goodbye” either. Her English was difficult to understand, which made the whole interaction even more frustrating. Not what you’d expect from a Pret in a major international airport.

We go regularly to the Horsham Pret.
Staff are lovely and have created a really lovely atmosphere.
We don't live in Horsham but still see a lot of the same faces when we visit.
Food is fresh and tasty.
Recommend.

We visited the Pret at Leicester Square today and the young server was brilliant. He was so friendly and helpful. He was cleaning tables and sweeping floors. Asked if we needed anything - so nice. Thank you.
What is happening with this company ?!!! They should write a manual on how to turn a popular and top food brand into a mediocre (at best) , most disliked food outlet with products not worth the wrapping (and quality still declining) . It used to be one of our best fast food chains , fresh and generous portions, and now the sandwiches are literally empty (every time I visit it seems to get worse and worse) , the coffee tastes like burnt cardboard (so bitter and bland at the same time, its a feat of bad coffee ) and the soups taste like dishwater. It’s disappointing primarily because it was really nice to see this company flourish when it first opened. The idea was great , you could sense the pride of those who worked there and the founders. It really made a difference on the fast food market and offered a Brilliant,‘healthy and fresh alternative to those who eat on the go. But like all things that are taken over by larger corporations , the vision has been lost and all that matters now are the profits. This is clear. I swore I would never get another sandwich from Pret again. Today was my last . If I could have given 0 star I would.
They no longer bother to make anything that is cows milk free or gluten free. Gone are the vegan breakfast options leaving many of us to look at their competition who are far better in this area.
Prices up quality down
Porridge is now made out of low quality oat dust, has no texture or taste and resembles decorating filler. No nuts or seeds for toppings, but higher price.
This now resembles generic slop suitable for a a Dickensian workhouse.I won't be asking for more.
I'm surprised they are still in business if all their staff our as rude as those in the Bristol branch! I have been going to Pret for years now but the service and standards have slipped dramatically! Will not be returning.
Had a herb and avo wrap, and it was absolutely revolting. It tasted like the cardboard it was wrapped in with way too much salt, all for a hefty price of over £5. I also had a mocca, which was mediocre at best. Also luke warm. Ruined my day.
