90 Queen Street Pret - Aggie is exceptional

I visit the 90 Queen Street Pret 2-3 times a week on my way to work and wanted to recognise the exceptional service I receive, particularly from Aggie. As someone who is disabled and walks with a stick, I often find it challenging to carry my laptop bag, manage my cane and browse the shelves to choose items for my breakfast and dinner. Aggie quickly recognised these difficulties without me ever having to ask for help. She regularly comes from behind the counter to help me select the items I need, making what could be a difficult experience feel easy, comfortable and dignified. She does this naturally, always with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. What stands out most is Aggie's empathy. She has an instinctive understanding of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference to someone's day. She consistently goes above and beyond, treating customers with warmth, respect and professionalism. I have worked with people and businesses for many years, and truly exceptional customer service is rare. Aggie is a standout member of staff and a credit to Pret. You are fortunate to have someone who genuinely exemplifies what outstanding customer service should look like. Thank you, Aggie, and the Queen Street team, for making every visit such a positive experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended.

Poor coffee, service and cake. Whats to like ... nothing!

Poor coffee, dry tasteless cake and only £7.45 at an outlet shopping area (aren't they supposed to be good value)! The Pret at Cheshire Oaks is worth walking right around the shopping area to avoid. The service was lengthy and confusing as they lost any concept of organisation, and it wasn't even that busy, but the real disappointment came with the poor coffee, unpleasant after taste, and the very, very dry pistachio and almond cake. Almonds in cake usually make it moist and lovely, it seems that this was at least a couple of days old sat on the counter. Avoid!

Used pret a manger in Zakynthos airport…

Used pret a manger in Zakynthos airport , absolutely disgusting. Bought a coffee €5.60 , 2 children's sandwiches which were absolutely disgusting, dry and stale and only had filling in the corners you could see €5.40 each . And a packet of crisps and a cup of hot water . €25 in total , so must have been about €5 for the crisps and about €5 for the hot water . Absolutely criminal , will never use again . You should be closed down . Daylight robbery , would have given 0 stars if I could . Infact probably a well deserved minus score would be more fitting 🤬🤬🤬

Disappointing spinach and feta pastry in Athens airport

Just grabbed a spinach and feta pastry at Athens airport and it was dried out and cold. The ones on display under the lights looked good, but it looked like I was served one from the bottom (yesterday’s pastry?). The taste was okay, but phyllo the pastry was not good. I did not choose a sandwich as these are usually soggy and I was hoping a local staple would be better quality. The coffee (latte) was okay, but a little cool for my taste.

Dear Pret,

Dear Pret, I regularly visit Victoria coach Station for my coffee needs. This morning I encountered Marco at 5am opening which is a time I dont usually visit. Marco has a strange approach to customer service berating my coffee description. Then when I asked the cost he asked why I didn't know how much the price is if I came here all the time. I advised him I always paid by Card and usually bought multiple items. I advised Marco his service Negative sarcasm were not positive in my opinion and did not make a great experience and I didn't appreciate it. He admitted he was sarcastic and strangely continued strange Interaction antagonising customer service. I asked him for his name which he refused to give, but his colleague called him by name instructing him to stop and deal with his forming line instead of being rude to me. A lady came out to diffuse the interaction but sadly just stayed quiet and backed her colleague. I am a Pret regular and this is very dissapointing as I had done absolutely nothing to be berated and spoken to in a negative manner. I was heckled by Marco so I told him to foxtrot Oscar and deal with his other customers in a better manner than he had applied to our interaction. Absolutely ridiculous!

Expensive and surly staff

I stopped at Pret A Manger in the service station on M56 this morning - I was charged £4.10 for a double espresso, when I queried this as the only price on the board was £3.15 for an espresso (no mention of a double) the server was rude and surly. Very disappointing as I use Pret in my local town regularly and usually have a good experience.

I am extremely disappointed by the rude…

I am extremely disappointed by the rude and dishonest treatment I received at Pret A Manger in Zakynthos. Yesterday, I bought a bougatsa and a bottle of water. I asked for a larger paper bag because the small one was not practical. The employee was about to hand me one, but after the manager said something to him in Greek, he suddenly told me they “didn’t have any large bags.” I was then charged €0.20 for a small bag. To make it even more confusing, the receipt even said “plastic bag,” although it was clearly a paper bag. The most frustrating part came just one customer later. I watched them hand out large bags without any hesitation. I went back to the counter and politely said, “You just told me you didn’t have any large bags?” Instead of explaining the situation respectfully, the manager immediately raised her voice and shouted, “I never said that! I only said the large bags are for salads, not for everything!” That was simply not what I had been told. I replied that I had bought both the water and the bougatsa from their own shop and had even paid for the bag, so I didn’t understand why I was being treated differently. The manager refused to listen and completely ignored me. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever had. Being spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, misled about something as simple as a bag, and then ignored when asking a reasonable question is completely unacceptable. Customers deserve honesty, consistency, and basic respect—not excuses, shouting, and dismissive behavior. I will definitely not return and cannot recommend this location to anyone.

I have been regretting coming to Pret…

I have been regretting coming to Pret recently thinking the decline in quality was just a one off. However it’s been consistently bad quality everything I come. Today I ordered a stay in mac and cheese- first bite and it tasted off. The kale was off and you can see brown spots on the cauliflower. I can’t believe I fed my daughter that and paid almost £7 for food that is off. The only positive is having a seat.

Hair in Sandwich

I often buy a chicken and avacado sandwich from Pret a Manger on Carnaby Street whenever I'm in central London. The only issue I've previously had is a sandwich being so salty that I couldn't finish it. But I never complained, I just threw the uneaten half away. This time however I had to make a complaint. The first half of the sandwich was fine, but whilst eating the second half of the sandwich I felt something strange in my mouth. I pulled out what turned out to be long dark coloured hair that was in the sandwich. I reported it to the manager who said the sandwiches had been prepared in house and the person who made those sandwiches has the same type of hair that ended up in my mouth. She said she'd investigate what happened and refunded me for just the sandwich, not for the whole meal which was of course ruined. It literally made me feel sick. For such expensive sandwiches, you'd expect stricter health and safety procedures to ensure things such as this never happen. I've never had such an issue with any other sandwich and coffee shop.

THIS WILL BE MY LAST VISIT

THIS WILL BE MY LAST VISIT I bought a drink that looked like Apple Juice with ONLY the following words on the front label. PRET Still Mango, Passion Fruit & Lime. IT COST £3.75. Nowhere on the ticket, shelf or label front does it say WATER. YET it turns out to be FLAVOURED WATER. Not even mineral water. Just plain old water with a tiny bit of juice. A far, far cry from the Pret original opened all that time go by Jeremy Metcalfe. Prêt has lost its way. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
