Decent but not what you would expect from one of the most famous VPNS out there.
One of the cheapest no log vpns.
Positives:
Cheap
No logs
Has killswitch
Good variety of servers
Negatives:
Relatively slow compared to competitors
VPN servers are all already flagged by 90% of the sites so you either need a proxy or a dedicated ip
Depending on your case is kinda relative unusable without a dedicated ip which has a low amount of choices mainly US & Central Europe.
If not wanting buy dedicated IP not suggested buy for games it has huge latency.
No actual offers for already existing subscribers BUT they let you buy a new account and merge it in your account keep in mind if you buy a dedicated ip you can't merge it in your account you need merge your account in the new account.

I cannot recommend Private Internet Access based on my experience.
I paid for a long-term subscription expecting a reliable VPN service, but after the application stopped working I spent weeks following every troubleshooting step requested by support. Despite my patience and cooperation, none of the suggested fixes resolved the problem, leaving me without the service I had paid for.
The most disappointing part was customer support. Instead of resolving the issue or offering a timely refund, I was repeatedly asked to perform the same troubleshooting steps and was given the runaround. As a paying customer, I expected either a working product or a prompt refund when it became clear the service could not be restored.
A VPN provider is only as good as its reliability and support when things go wrong. Unfortunately, my experience was poor on both counts. I would encourage anyone considering PIA to think carefully, particularly if responsive customer service and honoring refund requests are important to you.
Very disappointing experience, and I will not be renewing or recommending this service.

Low quality service for the price
After being with the company for 11 months, I would describe the service as subpar overall. The internet speeds you got even with streaming servers were just not up to standard, there were constant disconnections and reconnections, and problems with games so much so that 70% of the apps I used ended up on the ignore list for the VPN, even the mobile app, I had problems like every 20 minutes where I would have to go in and change what connection I was using to keep any stability ongoing.
I've recently switched away from PIA to another VPN provider, and their connections show me that this isn't the norm, and should probably be avoided.

Private Internet Access Maintains Support for Legacy Ones when Many Do Not
I run a lot of older Mac laptops and Mac desktops that need VPN protection just like the latest and greatest Apple offerings. There's a Catalina, a Big Sur, and a Sonoma staying private because of Private Internet Access. I've very, very rarely had a technical issue and when I did it could often be resolved by looking over the support tips without having to interface with a support rep. I'm happy to have interactions with Customer Support but the idea should be not having Customers need to ping Customer Support with issues in the first place.
