I think the survey was helpful
I think the survey was helpful! It was designed to address where I live. I still feels a little generic based off of marketing. I also do not see a way to address more than one skin concern, which is a bummer.

I had been satisfied over the last few months until my current order. Day cream was now very drying, chalky and difficult to apply which was a complete change from previous orders. I questioned customer service and was told to apply over damp skin. As I had already been doing this and there was no improvement, I felt that this item was not made correctly, I again sent a query. No response. I have canceled the subscription and will be researching a different skin care routine
I love the products and they work extremely well for my skin. The reason for the 1-star rating is because of customer service. While everyone on the Proven side is extremely nice and kind, it's extremely difficult to get any issue resolved in 1 communication. This is partially due to the fact that there's no customer service phone number--only email, so even if you're very clear and explicit on what you need when emailing, there's going to be a response and questions and multiple email exchanges. This is frustrating and it takes a lot of time. I recently reached out to customer service to order 1 additional night cream and ask if there's any way to adjust my formula because of experiencing breakouts when using the day cream. My initial reach out was August 4th. It took 17 email exchanges where I had to keep explaining the issue over and over again to the same customer service agent. I didn't have resolution until August 21. The issues I was trying to resolve were: 1. I was out of night cream on August 4, I wanted to order 1 additional, out-of-cycle night cream. 2. I wanted to have my formula reviewed and learn my options for replacing my July set (not used / unopened) because I had been experiencing breakouts, clogged pores and blackheads on my May set. So if the July set used the same formulation as the May set, I wanted to see if I could get it replaced for something with more acne-fighting power. This could have been solved with one quick phone call as opposed to multiple hours spent reading & writing 17 different emails, over 18 days for this issue. Unacceptable from a customer perspective. Proven, I love your products and what they do for my skin, but if I have a repeat of this experience, I'm sad to say that you're going to lose a customer. Please get a customer service phone number or work on creating a new customer service email process where issues can be addressed and resolved in 1-2 interactions.
First off I will say this is this best I have come across by far. Ive tried so many different products and many have just caused much damage. I have still issues with some breakouts and dark spots that have been a problem. May be due to wearing a face mask all day at work.
Been using for about 6 months. The night cream is very good and my face feels moisturized when I wake up on the morning. Cons—price tag is high and I use products at different rates—night cream lasts 10 weeks max, face wash lasts 14-16 weeks, day cream lasts 12 weeks. Im not sure the extra hassle in managing the subscription is worth it since you have to manually change both payment and subscription timing.
The product works. Only giving 3 stars due to lack of training at the customer service level. Somehow I had a double subscription and ended up getting cancelled on both subscriptions. Had to send multiple emails and no follow up. The only reason I’m sticking around is because the products work.
The formula I was provided has destroyed my skin even more, I have contacted customer service and been told it is normal for it to take a couple months to clear out skin and work properly. I am on month 4 and still having horrible breakouts. This formula clearly isn't working and I have spend hundreds of dollars and months looking like my skin was out of control. My last set was supposed to be free but I was charged full price and then after contact customer service refunded most but not all of the charge (that took 7 days to receive the refund of something that should have never been charged).
I was expecting my skin to be softer to the touch and with some glow
Wasn’t working perfectly for me, my cleanser wasn’t strong enough and the moisturizer spf was leaving my skin dry. I took a break from skincare and used a basic cleanser from PCA with the lightweight but very moisturizing Aloe Moisturizing Gel from Belif. After my reset, I’m noticing the Proven set is working better, but I’m still upset that they advertised they would reformulate free if you weren’t satisfied, and they advertised falsely replying to me saying they don’t do that for my cleanser. When I tried to do it for my spf/moisturizer they told me no as well. Absurd. I went online and changed the strength of my formulas Bc they have that feature online. No change at all in my next 2 refills. I mean. Customer service takes forever to respond. I think it’s all in all a customer service/policy problem. If you advertise something do it. And have a phone number like a normal business!! A principle of business. It’s not about what you think makes you happy, it’s about what keeps the customer happy. If that means higher expenses for a customer service team so be it. They’re charging you 110-150$ for three pieces of skincare anyway! Ugh. LEARN HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS PEOPLE. WAKE UP -.-
Hi Christine, I just wanted to follow up on your request via social. :) I've checked over your account more thoroughly and noted the changes in your formulations below. For your first order, we had you on an acne cleanser, a physical, non-comedogenic sunscreen at SPF 50 day cream, and an acne-focused night cream with Retinoids. For your second order, we adjusted your cleanser to one that was less harsh per your request and it should still work with your acne, but it will exfoliate your skin differently without salicylic acid. For your third order, we adjust your day cream to a thinner one that is more water-based and moisturizing while still providing an SPF 40 and it being water-resistant due to the humidity and sweating in summer. It will also help with your acne scars by keeping your skin hydrated. Please let me know if I can help you with any other changes you'd like made to your formulations.
I got the information I needed, but I'm disappointed that I've requested several times for the changes in my formula to be made obvious to me. Even though I asked for more exfoliation this last time around (by completing the online information), I was told my formula was the same. Ok, but why? Would it not be good for me? I really like the product, but I'm concerned about the lack of transparency. I've tried to communicate this same thought previously, but I haven't seen anything change.
I've noticed my skin is softer, but I haven't noticed a difference in my acne. I've changed my profile so I'm this next shipment is better
When I signed up I was told that the 4th shipment would be free. Now that I am eligible for my 4th shipment I was told that is no longer a promotion. Very disappointed and thinking of canceling to find a more economical choice.
Proven made my acne worse instead of better. I have been using it for 3 shipments, and my acne did not improve. I tried retaking my skin quiz so that the ingredients would change to target my acne more. After retaking the quiz, I saw no change in the composition. I reached out to customer service specifically asking for the differences in formulation for my original formula (light acne) and my new formula (bad acne) and the customer service rep did not answer the question and gave a general response like: "just stick with it". Well, I have stuck with it in order to get my 4th order free and I don'y plan to keep ordering the entire system. I might continue to buy the night cream, but I haven't decided on that yet.
Proven has been very professional in their communications and sending products on time. I have just received my third shipment. I am using the products and find them to be easy to use, I'm not 100% seeing results however my skin feels good. Wrinkles may be a little less defined in areas. My neck is still needing attention. The first month the products felt very drying. I felt like I needed an oily moisturizer. I have become use to the way my skin feels and my face does not feel dry as often. So I will continue my regimen faithfully and hopefully will see some major changes to my wrinkles. Above my left eye I have seen more wrinkles since using Proven. I may need an added eyecream. What do you suggest? Still a little on the fence, will continue to use. Thank you, Beth
The product deserves 5 stars. My adult acne has been better since I have used Proven than it has been in years. However their customer service is antagonistic. The name of the customer service game is blame the customer and talk down to them. I'm sure it is growing pains, so I am sticking with the great product and hopefully to not have any more issues that I have to interact with Customer Service for.
So far my experience has been ok. My skin feels fresh and the products don't leave my skin feeling oily at all. My only issue is that I thought this product would help with sun spots and melasma, but it doesn't.
Proven is a company that cares and they will work with you to find something that works for you. Would’ve given more stars based off my experience with them as a company but I’m not sure how well their products work for me. While I’ve seen some improvement, I haven’t seen enough, especially for the price. I keep going with it though because it could be something as simple as not finding the right formula yet. Yet, being the operative word. I think we’ll get there eventually. It’s worth a shot for anyone looking for a new skincare routine! (And their night creams are to die for!!)
My monthly subscription was backordered due to high volume ordering. I am very happy this product is taking off so successfully, however, I was left without product for a couple of weeks. I realize this is the downside of ordering product online as opposed to obtaining it from a store, however, I would like to continue with your product.
I enjoyed the skin care line in the beginning and did notice some change.. I thought the recipe would change but have not noticed any change or any further improvement in my skin. I expected increased improvement but did not see any. I'm almost 65 so maybe this skincare line can't be f any help.
This is, sadly, not a quality product. It has the consistency of cheap drugstore facial care. The facial cleanser has a very off-putting smell and the night cream smells horribly of sulphur. I immediately had a reaction to the cleanser/night cream (I didn't even bother with the daily lotion due to the texture) and customer service was unhelpful and rude. I would not recommend this product.
