Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention how fast and simple the entire loan application process is, noting that funds are deposited quickly into accounts. Many people also appreciate the convenience of having their debts paid off directly and managing finances through straightforward autopay options.
Some reviewers were not happy with customer support, mentioning that it was difficult to reach a human or that communication lacked urgency. A few consumers also noted frustrations regarding high upfront fees, strict verification steps, or unexpected interest rates that made refinancing less beneficial.

SoFi has been a very trustful and reliable source. It was fast and easy. I was treated with a very polite and friendly manner. I'm very happy to have chosen you guys to partner with on this journey. Can't wait to see how much positivity we do together. Thank you!!!
Easy process that didn’t take long. Payments were flexible and fair. Better interest rate than my bank offered. No hidden agenda. All around positive experience.
SoFi has made it so easy to track my expenses! Everything from the credit card to personal loans are easily applied for, approved, and dispersed quickly with little to no waiting game. They are straightforward and very easy to work with.
The application process was fast and easy and the customer service with a human by phone was also effective. I also received a rapid response about the status of my application.
I never expected a simple refund correction to take over three months. After refinancing my daughter's student loan from College Ave to SoFi, College Ave received an overpayment and was supposed to return $1,179.02. Three months later, that money is still missing.
I've spent more than six hours on the phone, sent countless emails, and followed every instruction provided. The result? No answers, no accountability, and no resolution.
Every representative seems willing to acknowledge the issue exists, but no one is willing or able to take ownership and actually fix it. It's incredibly frustrating that in an era when money can move electronically in seconds, neither company can tell me where my funds are or return them to my account.
The customer service experience has been unacceptable, and the lack of urgency regarding a customer's money is deeply concerning. I would strongly encourage anyone considering doing business with College Ave to understand how difficult it can be to get help when something goes wrong.

If it weren’t for the ease and able to do it all from online, I probably wouldn’t have used SiFi.
Very pleased as how the process was and how transparent it was as well. I did my research on the company too and combined with my personal experience I would recommend.
Process was fast and easy on my phone once I decided which loan offer was right for me. I did a debt consolidation loan and they paid my creditors within 48 hours.
Applying for and getting approved for my consolidation loan was simple and fairly quick. Then Having the ability to seamlessly pay off credit cards in the process was also a nice feature and raised my opinion of the process.
