We packed up our entire apartment plus 25 stack bins and it couldn’t have been an easier process. Everyone was amazing at communicating if we had any questions along the way and the delivery/pick up were seamless. It's a useful service, but the last time I used them the local affiliate moving company they use to drop off and pick up the bins was a mess. When they dropped them off, their "truck was down", so someone showed up in a SUV, dropped off a batch of bins and just left. Didn't speak English so he couldn't tell me that he had to make several trips. It took three trips over the course of an hour. Each time, interrupting my work day and driving my dogs crazy. Some of the bins hadn't been cleaned out either and had old stickers and oily residue on the inside. Then pickup was even more bizarre. Didn't show up at the pickup timeframe that was communicated to me via text, so I asked for an update, didn't show up for that time frame either. Then they communicated a time via text for the next afternoon, then someone showed up at 7:15am ringing the doorbell while we were sleeping. All of this without communication from them. Each time, I had to reach out and drag info out of them. Their messages sounded like they were coming from AI or a bot. They are a local moving company and provided a horrible impression, you think they'd want to use this opportunity to advertise their business. But I would never hire or recommend them after the interaction we've had through their Stack relationship.
I have used them twice in 2 years, but no more! If you are in Northern California area do not use them. Customer service is awful. How? They won’t tell you when bins will be dropped off and won’t tell you when they will be picked up. They do not return calls or messages. Once a date is nailed down, you will not get a time of day for drop off or pick up. We are all busy and that does not work.

I move far more often than the average person. I have long believed that the dust and chemicals in the moving boxes give me a terrible sinus infection every time I move. That is why I decided to use crates this time and I did not get sick. Yay!!! But I did not realize how much easier it would be to move with the crates as well. That was a real bonus! Using the crates made the move super easy. You don’t have to worry about boxes stacked on top of each other and crushing other boxes. You don’t have to spend time making boxes then breaking them down. And the crates are just easier to pack and unpack. They are easier to move around because they come with their own dollies. I will use crates every time I move from now on. The drop off and pick up went very smoothly as well.
The crates made the move super convenient, but the most frustrating part was the drop-off and pick-up; you are not told until the morning of that day what the approximate time will be, and both times they were late.

This made my cross country move so much easier, not having to deal with procuring and getting rid of cardboard boxes. I could also store more per crate compared to a box and was able to label each crate consistently which made for easy unpacking. And they come with a dolly so I didn't need to worry about lugging around heavy crates! It was fairly easy to just extend my reservation too.
Stack does the job perfectly. The price of cardboard is outrageous these days and a lot of work and waste. Having reusable bins was the way to go! They were heavy duty, interlocking and the Velcro on the bottom was a nice touch to keep them from sliding around. Very happy with the service!

I ordered the 2BR (35-crate) package from Stack on May 5 for my move on May 28. Delivery was scheduled for May 25, then pushed to May 26 with a 1–4 pm window. I even took an early out from work to be home for this, and they still didn’t show up or communicate clearly. This level of unreliability and lack of respect for customers’ time is unacceptable, especially during a move. I would not recommend this company to anyone who needs their packing materials to arrive when promised.

The Stack totes were delivered on-time by a great professional who explained how they worked and review the contract. Filling them up, moving them out and in and then emptying them was so easy! This was the best move I've ever had (and I've had a lot, I've moved 17 times in 12 years), and that's in huge part because of Stacks. Not having to put together boxes, tape the bottoms, load it, then tape the top, saved so much time. I just loaded up the crate and shut the lid. It made it go so much faster for me. And also made it easier on the movers being able to stack up the crates and load them on the truck with the dolly. Returning the crates was just as easy, and having zero boxes in the new apartment made it so much easier to put things away. I'll definitely be using them every time I move.
