Received my first package from StitchFix which had some outfits I would probably not have selected or looked at if I was shopping for myself. I tried them on and decided to keep them to broaden my clothing collection. I received a multitude of comments from colleagues about how nice my outfit looked and how surprised they were to see me in a different style/pattern of clothes. I I’ve been a loyal Stitch Fix customer for over 10 years, and overall I’ve had a wonderful experience. I’ve recommended Stitch Fix to friends and family because I’ve truly enjoyed the service. Over the past few years, however, it’s felt a bit more hit or miss, so I wanted to share some feedback that I hope will be helpful. One of my biggest frustrations is that it often seems like my stylist isn’t seeing or following the notes I leave. For example, I always mention that I don’t want clothing that requires hanging to dry or washing on a gentle cycle. I also specifically ask that if an item is likely to shrink in the dryer, please send the next size up. Unfortunately, that request is rarely followed. Since I machine wash and dry almost all of my clothes, this is an important factor in whether I can keep an item. I also want to say how much I love the AI Try-On feature. It has become one of my favorite parts of the Stitch Fix experience because it helps me visualize complete outfits before I buy them. The only issue I’ve noticed is that my AI model appears much taller than I am. I consistently submit feedback, but my profile continues to recommend pants and jeans with inseams longer than my preferred 31.5 inches. It would be wonderful if the AI learned from the feedback customers provide so the recommendations became even more personalized over time. On a very positive note, my husband recently received one of his best Fixes ever. He wanted clothing that felt fresh and updated without being too trendy or flashy, and his stylist absolutely nailed it. Every piece suited his style perfectly. He has another Fix arriving soon, and we’re excited to see what comes next. The exchange process is another area where I think there’s room for improvement. When I need a different size, I have to purchase the replacement item before my refund for the original item is processed. Because refunds can take several weeks, I’m temporarily paying for the same item twice. As someone who has spent well over $10,000 with Stitch Fix over the years, I would love to see a more customer-friendly exchange process for long-time members. Even though I know the refund is coming, having to pay twice upfront can be difficult, and I imagine it’s an even bigger obstacle for customers on a tighter budget. Finally, I want to recognize the excellent customer service I’ve received. Recently, I purchased a cute white jacket but realized after getting it home that it was a size small. Since it was made of 100% cotton, I knew it would likely shrink and no longer fit after washing. I had already removed the tags but had never worn or washed the jacket. I contacted customer service through chat, explained the situation honestly, and the representative kindly allowed me to return it. Experiences like that remind me why I’ve remained a Stitch Fix customer for so many years. Overall, I truly appreciate Stitch Fix and hope to remain a customer for many years to come. I wanted to share these thoughts because I believe the service has so much potential, and I hope this feedback helps make an already great experience even better.

I live pretty remote so very little opportunities for different types of styles. Stichfix does a great job of using AI to show you a story board with your image. Returns are very easy.
