My first seed order of the year - reasonable, dependable, good variety!
I don't have a greenhouse, but use our sunny big living room window and a seed-starting heating mat to get our gardens started every year. For MANY years Pinetree Garden Seeds is my longest and first order, thanks to your reasonable and good variety of seeds for vegetables, herbs, perennial and annual flowers.
Some of my favorites on my 2017 Pinetree order:
Fortex Pole Beans, which I grow up home-made 5'x 2' tomato cages
made from concrete reinforcing wire with a 6" grid
New Red Fire lettuce, which is still going gangbusters. It produces over
a long period, slow to bolt, and is 2-colored ruffly burgundy and
green, and tastes and looks beautiful in salads
Jericho Romaine lettuce, tall and crispy.
Sungold Tomatoes, our best cherry-sized tomato this year, very sweet
Nasturtium Gleam, which trails over our back hill in a sunny spot in
bright orange, red, and gold colors, ignored by deer.
Brandywine Red tomato (grown from seed I saved from last year)

Some of the winter squash seeds did not germinate. Since I am a seasoned gardener, I don't believe my technique was lacking. Everything else I ordered was great and I look forward to next year's growing and ordering more Pinetree seeds and supplies.

I've ordered from Pinetree for a number of years. For items that I don't plant a lot , they offer seeds in smaller quantities and good prices .
A improvemnt would be to offer larger quantities such as peas, spinach in better pricing strategies than buying multiple single packets.
I enjoy the variety of items offered- I've tried new items and varieties that I've not planted before.
I should also note- that I ordered gladiolous bulbs seveal times and they have been very nice. The bulbs are a bit smaller than I expected- but the stalks and flowers have been great. Exhibited some at our fair and made very nice compliments with my Dahlias arrangements.

Hi Russell - thanks for responding to us - glad that our quantities and prices work well for you. We appreciate your suggestion for larger packets of peas and spinach. We actually carry Spinach packets with 1000 seeds that we introduced last year. You can view them on our web site by clicking on this link: https://www.superseeds.com/search?type=product&q=spinach+1000. There is a choice for 75 seeds, as well as 1000 seed count. We are working on our new Catalog now - I will put your suggestion in to hopefully carry some pea varieties as well.
They are my favorite seed vendor. I have used Pinetree for many years and have recommended them to my friends. I love the smaller seed packets which give me an opportunity to try more varieties.

I've been buying seeds from this company for over 10 years. I like the selection and always find something new and different to try. The prices are good and everything arrives quickly.
I like doing business with small companies and this one is very customer oriented.
Good prices, good selection, had a mix-up on seeds - which they refunded, but they need to step up their quality control.

Probably 20 years I have been ordering seed from Pinetree Seeds. There have been no germination problems, my orders were correct and timely and the resulting produce was excellent. One time I got someone else's order by mistake. When I called Pinetree Customer Service, they thanked me, told me to keep the seed and they would send another order to the party that ordered the seeds. I even got a thank you note from the people the seed was meant for. The prices are excellent too.

Pinetree has been my go to seed company for many years. Great variety and good prices. However, I have had increasing experiences of seeds not germinating.

One of my GO-To seed and product companies every year
I order from Pinetree Garden Seeds at least once every year. Their germination rate is very good and I really like being able to purchase smaller quantities of seeds at less cost and have a large selection of seeds to choose from.
Pinetree ships orders quickly and has seed packets sized appropriately for home gardeners. I don't need 100 zucchini seeds like other companies might provide. The prices are reasonable and the number of products available is excellent. One time I asked about the germination rate of a green bean seed I had problems with and they quickly refunded my money for those seed packages. Customer service has always taken care of any concerns I might have. I freely recommend Pinetree to my friends and neighbors.

No rude conduct--Customer service staff always polite but so disappointed in the seeds. Ordered a variety of vegies plus nastursiums. Only a few seeds sprouted but did not survive and only one nastursium planted actually grew. I won't be reordering.

average size garden! I also love the book selections and really appreciate the book sales in the catalog. I have purchased seed for many years from Pinetree and have always had excellent germination with all of my purchases. The product descriptions in the catalog are very valuable since I do in fact read these very carefully while making decisions for an order. The only wish I have is for an alternative catalog available in LARGE PRINT for some of us older folks who can't read tiny print as well as we used to.... Thanks for your great Company!

Great prices and they had everything I needed as well as some items I didn't know I needed until I found them on their website. The crafts and gifts category is fantastic. Website and catalog both quite informative.
Some seeds are very good growing every year. Some are too touchy to the conditions of that year. I found the pot tomato's to have very thick skin.
