First time, but what a great experience!!
The host was very responsive. Always stayed in communication. If I sent a message they got right back to me. The car was clean and good condition all altogether. Just a very good experience.!! next time we come down we’ll probably try to rent from him again!!
Great car for touring all over Alaska
Great car for touring all over Alaska. The three of us drove the Denali as far as Ninilchik and we were glad to have rented such a spacious SUV. The trunk held our two fish boxes and three suitcases beautifully. The gas mileage was good, and the vehicle operated as good as one would hope when climbing mountains etc. Easy pick up and drop off experience, also we appreciated the discount for renting for three plus days. All in all a great vehicle and wonderful interactions with our hosts.

I had to evacuate my residence due to a…
I had to evacuate my residence due to a Watch Duty fire alert. I am not from this area and staying with friends. They were out of town for a few days and I was watching their dog. After I returned the car, the Host reported that there was some pet hair. I was in turn charged $150 dollars for violating the Turo T&C. The dog was in the car for a total of 40 min. Given that fire alerts and evacuations are part of life in LA, there should be something in the T&C to take into account cases like these. Who in their good conscience would leave a pet behind to possibly die in a fire? The other suggestion would be to add a No Pets icon like the No Smoking icon to the Trip rules screen in case the renter may miss the fine print in the T&C that everyone reads beginning to end.

This was my first time using Turo and certainly won’t be my last. In fact when I’m in need of a rental car in the future Turo will always be my choice. The entire process was smooth and effortless. My car was ready at the agreed upon and location and the owner communicated well. Bravo to Turo!! No need to look at another rental car service.
