Because each item is specifically produced for the individual order and cannot be resold as a standard product, custom-made items are not eligible for return or exchange when there is no manufacturing or quality issue, such as a change of preference or an incorrectly selected color, style, or size. We understand that selecting custom window treatments is an important investment, which is why we provide several resources to help customers make confident decisions before placing an order. Customers can order fabric samples or sample books to see and compare colors and textures in person. We also offer 1-on-1 Zoom consultations and designer consultations to help with fabric and style selection, as well as measurement and product recommendations. Regarding the small light spots, when blackout lining is added to Roman shades, tiny pinholes may appear where the fabric has been stitched. This is due to the nature of the 150 GSM blackout lining, which is a coated fabric. Needle punctures during the sewing process can allow small amounts of light to pass through. This is a characteristic of the lining and sewing process rather than a defect in the product. We also understand your concerns about the number of folds and the overall appearance of the Roman shades. Different Roman shade styles have different fold configurations, and we’re sorry that the finished look was not what you had envisioned.
