Walking Tour in Nice France

Our tour guide Antoine was very knowledgeable about all history of the area. He took us to all points of interest in Nice. He was punctual and even after the tour finished, he sent us additional information for us to get around by train and bus. Something cool about his tour: he brought with him pictures of different places from the past to show us ‘the before’ of the area through time. We highly recommend Antoine’s walk tour. Thank-You Antoine!!!

Cu chi tunnel & Mekong delta tour fail!

We booked a tunnel and Mekong delta tour in advance for our time in ho chi minh city. The app seemed easy to use and I provided contact and pick up details (mandatory fields). The transaction was processed and booking confirmed. The pick up however didn't occur at the confirmed time and it transpired that the contact and pick up details weren't provided to the tour company. The tour company made every effort to rectify the situation but it turned into a very wasteful and stressful day. While I don't like leaving negative reviews this appears to be an app problem and I won't use this site again.

Very useful

Very easy to use. Gives also great ideas that I didn't think of in the planning phase. When I didn't find our hotel in the list to add to the plan, I contacted them via email,got a very quick and helpful response. Altogether it's a great app for planning a visit to a city

Really great way to plan your trip!

I love the timeline and auto suggest and rearrange all the places for you. This platform is BOOM! I hope they continue to add more places and improve the UI. Love using it overall

Quick and Responsive Customer Service

I wanted to transfer all my itineraries I created from my old email account to my new email account. There wasn’t a way to do it myself so I had to contact customer service. Amir was quick and responsive to do this immediately. So many thanks, Amir. Perhaps in the future there will be a feature for us users to update our email ourselves in our profile/account and be able to retain all our work.

Easy, organized and detailed itinenaries

3 years ago, I had the pleasure of using visit a city to plan my upcoming vacation, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. It offers a wide range of meticulously crafted itineraries for various destinations and attractions nearby with how many minutes of walk in between or public transport. And now I am planning another trip and I am so glad that they still have the website available :)

This app is like your personal travel manager on your phone. It is a must for any city trips. I used it in 10+ cities and it made all the sightseeing easy and accessible. I’m very impressed with the accuracy and flexibility. One of the best apps I have ever downloaded.

I have found VisitaCity extremely helpful, to the point where, when planning a trip in a foreign city, I no longer even bother to look for additional resources. I've been using VisitaCity for about four years now, and I'm still surprised at how easy it is to use, how well organized it is, and the amount of useful information displayed.

I have been using visit a city for years and its a great app. Have convrted many friends to it.Their help is very efficient and supportive. The last time I had a problem in ammending my planes as every entry apoeared in arabic. This too was delt with efficiently

This was a small group tour of Florence…

This was a small group tour of Florence and Pisa...this was booked through Visit a City which goes through Viator bc it says if you have any issues contact Viator and i did but they did nothing...First of all...the driver didn't tell us his name....we were the 2nd to be picked up and we went to go pick up the last party which he waited 15 mins for and no one showed. Therefore that made us late to the point of pickup that I thought we were to meet a guide to explain everything to us. So instead of Florence first he drove like a bat out of hell to Pisa. We only had an hour there. Then the same driver said he is going to take us to Florence and drop us off for only two hours bc our guide cancelled. It was supposed to be 4.5 hours in two different areas with a ticket to one place. That didn't happen. It seems like it was just a sham and between all 5 of us paid total over a 1000 dollars for a personal horrible driver that didn't speak any English so he couldn't explain anything to us. The van was so disgusting and stunk so bad. Then he dropped us off in the rain a couple blocks from our hotel bc he said the road was closed which we walked it in the rain and the road wasn't closed. This was so disappointing. I am so dissatisfied with this and Viator doesn't care us no refund or even a partial refund. We have used Viator 10 times so far so believe it they don't care.

This is the best app I have found to effectively plan a trip to a new place!

This is the best app I have found to plan a trip to a new city! I love the suggested itinerary and how easy it is to change the events and move items between days. I would enjoy having an easier way to add my own events and locations to the plan; it is possible to do this, but it requires too many steps. We are looking forward to living daily using this app during our stays in London and Paris.

Functionality has reduced

Have been using the site for several years but appears some functionality has been removed, ie. amend mode of transport to more than 1 option on same day. App also has less functionality than site so I need to login via google/explorer to make updates

Almost there

Sharing itineraries has been hit and miss. Modifying itineraries is a bit cumbersome. Drag and drop would be nice. All the start times are based on the initial start time. It would be nice to set a start time and a duration for an event. Right now it is just the duration

Tech support is amazing

Amir Miller is amazing. I recently lost plans for 3 cities on a trip starting today. He was able to restore them for me. He was also very concerned to find out why this happened. I would give Amir 6 stars if I could. I love your sire and receiving this kind of help from your support team really stands out.
