What people say

Superb Value For Solo Operators

Have tried nearly a dozen different CRMs and contact managers. They were ALL built for teams of people. As a solo operator, Moxie is the only software I have found that is dedicated to making sure a one-person show can run everything from A to Z in their business without mixing in more tools and subscriptions.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at…

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Moxie Collection After reading the owner Michaela’s response to other bad reviews further confirms my experience with this young lady. PAY ATTENTION AS THIS IS AN INDICATOR OF HOW VERY DISMISSIVE, CONDESCENDING, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL THIS YOUNG LADY MICHAELA IS! I paid for two classes for two people and had a very disappointing experience with Moxie Collection’s sewing class in Houston. I arrived about 20 minutes late because of a situation that was completely outside of my control—the freeway had been shut down to one lane, and I was doing everything I could to get there as quickly as possible. I certainly did not intentionally arrive late after paying for an instructional class. What made the situation so frustrating was how I was addressed when I arrived. Instead of privately asking what had happened or simply discussing my options, the owner, Michaela, addressed me loudly in front of the entire class. She repeatedly said that I would need to reschedule because I was late and that she didn't want me to feel like I hadn't received the full instruction. It took a fellow student (a friend whom I actually paid to attend the class also) stood against me having to leave because she had already informed the instructor about my situation and the instructor was understanding and had no problem with catching me up. I completely understand wanting students to receive the full value of what they paid for. However, there was a much more professional and respectful way to handle the situation. She could have pulled me aside, asked what happened, and offered me the choice to reschedule. Instead, I felt embarrassed and singled out in front of everyone during an already stressful situation. Ironically, after reading other comments, I noticed that the business states they typically allow about 10 minutes for everyone to settle in before beginning class. That would have made my actual instructional delay much less significant. The instructors themselves were absolutely phenomenal. They were patient, kind, knowledgeable, and helped me catch up without any problem. My experience with the instructors was completely different from my experience with the owner. Unfortunately, finding out that the person who treated me this way was the owner made the experience even more disappointing. In my opinion, the instructors are a major asset to this business and are the reason I believe customers continue to have positive experiences. Because of the way I was treated, I would not attend another class with Moxie Collection, and I personally would not recommend spending your money there. If you decide to take a class, the instructors may be wonderful, but my experience with the owner was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Save your money and consider your options carefully before booking. Go Elsewhere!

Greetings - Looks like you have stumbled on the wrong "Moxie" review page. This page is for www.withmoxie.com - which is a CRM for Freelancers and small business. Sounds like a bad situation, but if you would be so kind as to remove this review, it would be appreciated. Thanks, The (other) Moxie Team.

Migration from previous company to Moxie Suite

Migrating from PatientNow to Moxie felt overwhelming at first, but the entire team made the process much smoother than I expected. Amira led our migration, and from day one she took the time to truly listen to our concerns. Although the project was very task-oriented, she never made us feel rushed. She responded quickly, answered every question thoroughly, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. I'd also like to recognize Samell, who worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything on the backend was completed for a successful migration. Their teamwork and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. While there were a few minor hiccups along the way—which is to be expected with any EMR migration—the Moxie team handled everything professionally and efficiently. What started as a very stressful experience ended up feeling organized, supported, and surprisingly stress-free. If you're considering making the switch to Moxie, I highly recommend them. Their customer service, communication, and commitment to a successful implementation exceeded my expectations.

As much as I love a good 5 star review as the next person - unfortunately, it seems this is about a different "Moxie". Sounds like your EMR migration went smoothly, which is awesome. Glad the other Moxies of the world are doing good work out there :)

So far my experience with Moxie has…worth the switch

So far my experience with Moxie has been incredible. While I'm new to subscribing with the platform, I completed a system set up for one of my clients and found it to be very intuitive yet extensive enough to meet all of our needs. I would recommend this app to everyone in my network.

Intuitive and extensive? That’s the sweet spot! Thanks for making the switch, putting Moxie to work for your client, and spreading the word.

Lacks necessary PM features

Moxie is sorely lacking in PM features. I was under the impression that Moxie was a project management tool that had other capabilities like customer management, but it seems that it is the other way around (mainly a CRM, with limited project management functionality). One feature I was disappointed not to find was the ability to add task durations and dependencies. Unfortunately, I will need to find another software to do what I need.

Reply from Moxie2026-07-14

Fair call. Moxie can keep a client business moving, but it is not a full-blown project planning tool. Task dependencies and duration-based planning are not in the toolbox today, and we understand why that was a dealbreaker. We also hear you on the expectations. We need to be clearer about where Moxie shines: client work, workflows, collaboration, time tracking, and billing. Thanks for calling out the gap. It is firmly on our radar.

Fantastic Spa

I have used Jennifer at Moxi Wellness for a few years while she was at another establishment. Now that she has her own salon I definitely decided to book an appointment. She is so knowledgeable about your skin and gives suggestions to improve the texture and appearance. She ia NEVER pushy and leaves all treatment decisions to you. She has put me on a skin care routine with Zo products and it has made a big difference in my skin. I will definitely keep allowing Jennifer to help me be the best I can be. Book yourself an appointment and experience this wonderful spa and watch your skin transform!!!

You think you thought of everything...until you didn't.

TLDR: Use it (if not this, then something similar). Don't hesitate. Start now. Onboarding takes a few days, and if Stripe is new to you, you'll need a day or two before you can even connect. The value will be apparent if you're willing to put the time into tailoring it. But almost everything you need, didn't know you needed, and wanted is here. Cons: I'm still learning so forgive any ignorance on the Platform. I still think you'll need separate bookkeeping. For a managerial snapshot, the accounting features are enough, but it is rudimentary and scoped to what's happening in Moxie. It's not accounting software. Also the learning curve is a little clunky as some things were not intuitive, but the docs and videos help A LOT so take the time to go through them. PROS: Helps to make sure your ducks are in a row. Helps you track EVERY aspect of your business operations. Not just one pipeline, but from opportunity, to conception, to delivery, and completion. Opportunities become proposals become agreements, become projects, tasks, and invoices become emails become money in your pocket. In my case, I received my first payment within just a few days of joining. They nailed it. Also, they're quirky and I like that. This WILL replace at least four other apps you're probably using. Task management, time tracking, invoicing, document keeping, client portals, a ton more ... I'm a believer.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a thorough review, Rami! You are absolutely correct that Moxie is not a full accounting platform - most of our users opt to integrate their Quickbooks account to solve for the true accounting featureset. We are thrilled that you are finding the platform useful in organizing your business.

I’ve tried them all

I’ve tried them all: Honeybook, Dubsado, Assembly, Plutio, and Bonsai. While they all have their strengths, none of them felt quite right. Moxie is a breath of fresh air. It is specifically built for service-based professionals, and the ease of setup is unmatched. If you're tired of fighting with your software and just want to get to work, Moxie is the answer.

Thanks for the kind words, Nicole! We love to hear that you are enjoying your Moxie experience.

Moxie seemed to promise everything I…

Moxie seemed to promise everything I needed and almost does. I'm disappointed by the Automations, as they seem to only really work with Pipelines. I need them with clients and projects. There are also some inconsistencies in the user interface that could do with tidying up. Anyway, I'm using it in earnest as it seems more me than the pleasure of others out there. I hope so, and I benefit from regular enhancements and development.

Week starts on Monday (not)

You claim on your website that calendars can be set to start on Monday. Yet, the booking calendar ignores that setting. Also, the design generally looks quite dated. The client portal setup looks like a mobile page.

Reply from Moxie2026-03-15

Hi Kim! The calendar start date is based on the locale of the user viewing the calendar for booking. If that user is in a locale where the week starts on Sunday (the US for example), they would see Sunday as the first day. If that user was in a country where it started on Monday, they would see that version. Same thing with the date/time formatting. It's all local to the user based on their browser settings. Hopefully that clears some things up for you. Thanks!
