Great experience to Peru, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. We would have liked more information prior to departure (we enjoy pouring over all the little details, perhaps not the usual A& K customer). But, once the journey was underway it was perfect. Great boots on the ground people in Peru, great accommodations, food, activities. We highly recommend.

Our SE Asia adventure was our 2nd Abercrombie and Kent trip. As with our Africa trip, SE Asia surpassed all of my expectations. The history, charm & people captured my heart.
The single most important part of the success and joy of our trip was due to Harry who from the start made the planning fun and informative. He took the time to get to know the 6 of us in our group and tailor a trip that balanced our various expectations. He did a superb job. Simply put, he cared!
Every detail from being met at the airports to the amazing and professional guides and drivers in each city to the various sightseeing and dining experiences was fine tuned. And WOW the hotels were amazing.
We are already thinking about our next A&K adventure!

The worst experience. We stayed at Chief's camp in March, everything went wrong, no customer service, we lost a lot of money and nobody was responsible for anything. This camp I should mention changed ownership, and was previously a really great place - before this owner moved in. I would never again travel with this company
We have used A&K many times in the past and have had mostly good experiences.
Recently we contacted them about a Tailor Made trip to Morocco. The agent said she was going to work up an itinerary and get back to us. We never heard from her, contacted her 2x additional times, no response. We tried to contact the manager in charge of the Tailor Made trips and received no response.
A&K has lost it and us.

Booking the trip was easy and able to get exactly what I wanted. The trip was customised to our requirements, with additional extras included as needed.
The holiday itself was flawless with all A&K staff in Egypt so kind, caring and helpful. The guides they used in particular were brilliant, helping bring the history to life.

This was our first trip with Abercrombie & Kent. We had a fantastic Galapagos tour
aboard the Ecoventura yacht Theory, a beautiful boat. The entire staff of thirteen were exceptional. Our adventure guides, Jose Luis and Billy were incredibly knowledgeable about the Galapagos and the amazing wildlife in this extraordinary place. Our five snorkeling adventures were superb. What a company and what an experience! Chris put together the most amazing trip to Zambia Victoria Falls Botswana and Mozambique! I was right to trust in all his expertise and knowledge as it was perfect ! Quiet exclusive lodges/ larger lodges for the best elephant and Chobe River experience and a slice of Heaven in Mozambique. I will always use A&K going forward. Their care and guidance is second to none and their altruistic investment in the local community is admirable.

I've always planned my own travel but the complications of moving around the African continent impelled me toward A&K. Boy, was that a good choice! Africa specialist Joanne Stephens took me in hand. She put me into five top notch accommodations, including three safari camps. There was no roughing it at these camps. The 'tents' were palatial and the staffs at each one outstanding: hard-working, highly competent and warmly hospitable. The camp guides not only know how to spot the game, but also how to anticipate its behaviour - what might happen next, for example, if we stuck around a little longer. As for travel between lodgings, there was always an A&K transfer expert on hand or, at the camps, an A&K-briefed staff to get me where I was supposed to go. This experience was something special. I may never self-plan a trip again.

This was my first adventure (Classic Japan) with A&K and I am planning for many more. From my first telephone contact with A&K (Spencer Stewart) to my return flight home, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. A&K booked my flights using the exact parameters I gave them. The airport pickup was efficient and smooth. The choice of hotels was top-notch. The food was outstanding. The daily tours were fun and memorable. Our guide (Chizuru "Cheers") was the best guide I have ever used in any country. Her daily lessons in Japanese culture, history, and language were not only useful but enjoyable. I was fighting to hold back tears when it was time to say goodbye to her.

An amazing African adventure for a family group, which exceeded all expectations. Organised so it was seamless and stress free. Taking in some amazing highlights of Cape Town the Wine lands and the incredible Ivory Lodge at Sabi Sands. This is our third A&K trip and while the first two were superb, this one to China was over the top - an Olympic Gold Medal winner!! As always, the planning was perfect and fit each activity perfectly. The sites we visited were unforgettable, beautiful and historic and will be remembered thanks to the wonderful guides that led us through each site. All of this orchestrated by the best Tour Director - Michael - that we have ever had on any of our trips. As always, the hotels were beautiful and well located with wonderful views, when possible. In addition to all of the wonderful sites, we were treated to a wide variety of Chinese food characteristic of the regions from which they came. Abercrombie really gave us much more than we expected - they were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

I just came back from their Iconic China and Yangtze Cruise trip. It was, without a doubt, one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. A&K did an outstanding job in creating a phenomenal itinerary with extremely knowledgeable guides in every city. Our tour guide/escort was exceptional and his high level of customer service was outstanding. The accommodations and restaurants were first class all the way! Every A&K employee we interacted with went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. This trip far, far exceeded my expectations and I definitely plan to use A&K again! You won't be disappointed!

Just returning from Japan Classic journey during cherry blossom season! Spectacular! Seamless transfers with a guide and Driver in the car that walked you all the way to the hotel check in desk and on the return to the airport check in counter to be sure we didn’t get lost. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable, well informed and organized. Great sightseeing, hotels, food, and activities on this tour. You worry about nothing with A&K and have the opportunity to meet really exceptional people in your group in a wonderful setting.

We were on a small group tour to China. There were supposed to be 18 guests, but 6 cancelled because they were flying thru Dubai (war, etc.) We had an excellent experience. The local tour director was organized, informed, friendly and funny. We appreciated that he made clear to one couple who was tardy to get on the bus that he expected them to be on time from thereon out - and they were. The local guides in each city were also good, some better than others at English, but all good. The excursions were varied and interesting, with special activities thrown in like tai chi in the park and a fabulous foot massage. Changes ere made if the weather required it, but we saw everything we were scheduled to see and had a great time doing it. Highly recommend.

Every minute of the week-long trip was perfect. I was a solo traveller looking to be safe and not get sick while seeing the amazing sites of Egypt. Reem listened and tailored the trip for me, with 2 days with a private guide and 4 days on a nile cruise where I toured with a group of 6 others. Faultless really; good communication and advice pre-trip, excellent guide/driver, good backup from local agency and offered support after being caught up in ME disruption. There could have been slightly more information about the itinerary - actually what the guide did (after discussion with us) was better and more interesting than the original plan. But no complaints; we have travelled extensively with other similar companies and on the bases of n=1 we were impressed.
