Item was described exactly. Price was great as was the many payments options. Very happy with my new Mac Mini!

Mostly everything went well, checkout was easy, delivery was on time, and device was in amazing condition. I only have one complaint: Backmarket or the place they got the phone had flashed the wrong firmware onto it, so it wouldn't recieve any updates. I flashed the correct firmware onto it and now it works amazing.

i buy all of my devices from iphones to apple watches from back market. They stand behind their sales.. When I had a problem it was resolved quickly. Everything arrives as stated and performs well. Why buy new when you can get the quality and performance you need at a fraction of the new cost.

There were so many options and I can be incredibly indecisive, but when I finally did make a choice lol, it was 4am! They got the order and shipped it within the same day! I got the phone the next day! I was impressed with how fast it got here. The phone looked brand new even though it was in fair condition, another good impression. It works really well and the price was below my budget. Thank you!

Never received my laptop

I was very excited to order from Back Market because I wanted to support reusing devices and shopping second-hand. However, I ordered a laptop from Back Market, but never received it. I received a notice that it got delivered to my local UPS store, but the employees couldn't find it. When I contacted Back Market to send me a new laptop, all of their responses seemed to be AI/Auto-generated without seeming to have read my email. To receive a refund, they required me to give biometric data (that I didn't originally provide when buying the laptop). Their policy said they would provide an alternative for customers who don't want to give biometric data, but through email, they said I needed to complete it to receive a refund. They also said that the model of laptop I ordered was no longer available. So, after many weeks of back and forth with UPS and Back Market, I still have not received my laptop or a refund, and now they have all of my data.

The quality of the products for the prices they displayed were excellent. Also the transparency was great - they were open about the level of wear on used phones. As a bonus, shipping was very fast.

Premium Price, Defective Phone, and Terrible Customer Service

Premium Price, Defective Phone, and Terrible Customer Service I ordered an iPhone from Backstory and paid extra for a Premium Condition device because I expected a phone that was fully functional and thoroughly inspected. When it arrived, I transferred everything from my old phone, then mailed my old device in as a trade-in. That same evening, when I made my first phone call, I discovered the ear speaker volume was so low that I could barely hear the other person. The phone was essentially unusable for calls within hours of receiving it. I immediately contacted Backstory. Their only solution was to send the phone back for inspection or repair, which they said would take 3–7 days, leaving me without a phone. I explained that I rely on my phone every day for work, my personal life, and my children, so being without one was not a realistic option. Instead of taking responsibility for sending a defective refurbished phone, they suggested that I take it to an Apple Store or file a warranty claim myself. That is not what I expect after paying for a premium device, especially when the defect was discovered within hours of delivery. Over the course of approximately eight hours spent on phone calls and emails—and after giving them numerous opportunities to make things right—they still failed to offer a reasonable solution. Their customer service consistently shifted the burden onto me rather than standing behind the product they sold. Buyer beware. Paying extra for a “Premium Condition” phone does not guarantee you’ll receive a phone that is even fully functional, let alone premium. Based on my experience, the quality control and customer service both fell far short of expectations.

Great place for reufurbed products!

I have used Back Market several times to get refurbished iPhones. Every experience has been great. The phones have all been in great condition with the battery health at 85% or better, all at a good price. Shipping can be a little slower than other resellers but that has never been a real problem for me. I have recommended Back Market to others and the ones that used them have all had good experiences. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

We always use back market to buy refurbished for our new iPhones , we also like to trade in our phones to we think it fair pricing
