Indeed, my 5 stars were a joke — I made them to platform users as a way to draw attention to a real issue. I am pleased to inform the Change.org contesting community, that is, all those legitimately raising concerns about unjustified withdrawals, that — even though Change.org never replied to me publicly — after several notifications on Trustpilot, they contacted me privately and confirmed that I have been removed from their unauthorised random withdrawal list. Following this experience, I took the time to examine the company’s actual operating model. IN MY EXPERIENCE, Change.org is not a nonprofit civic platform, BUT A FOR-PROFIT COMPANY.

Change.org, hiding behind ACT Blue, has been spamming my phone for years now from multiple numbers. They hide behind these multiple phone numbers as an attempt to break laws. As soon as you tell them to STOP from any given phone number, they immediately start texting from another number. It's time for a class action lawsuit to STOP this crap!

I too inadvertently signed up for repeat payments. Once I realised I contacted Change.org, and they speedily resolved matters. I don't know why it happens, and hopefully it has ben fixed by now. However, they are a worthwhile and honest organisation and deserve support.

A pleasure to deal with a company online, Change.org that provides prompt superb customer service via email. Such a rarity today. Where most companies make it impossible to contact them in anyway.

Efficient and responsive

An error occurred while I was donating to change.org BUT they immediately and politely said they’d refund the over donation. My confidence in them as an organisation is 100%
