I encourage all veterans to stay away from this company. I have been screwed twice by this company. Every time I have come close to closing they find a way to screw things up. I have lost over 2k because of this company. The manager Andrew was very unprofessional with me, saying its all my fault. This company refuses to take blame for their huge mistakes. They take advantage of Veterans, the screw Veterans financially, they down grade Veterans. I have never felt so downgraded in my life. This company will screw veterans, not help them. I plan on filing a full lawsuit against this company for money i lost because they don't know how to do their jobs and wait till last minute to refuse you when they should have found it out in the beginning. once again I am a veteran who has been downgraded and treated like crap by this company, the manger was the worst of them all, called me a liar on the phone, said everything was my fault. All Veterans stay away or you will be next. If the CEO is reading this I suggest you speak with your manager Andrew and ask him why he refused to let me speak with someone higher then him.
We did get a great interest rate however.....Our realtor complained about lack of communication, the process was stressful, but my biggest complaint is the CD that went to the title office where funds get distributed was wrong and we are missing 977$ that they haven’t been able to tell us how we get back. We closed a month ago and still no communication. We also had to contact them in order to get any information on where to make our first mortgage payment. The whole process has been ridiculous I would not recommend them and we wouldn’t use again :(
We just recently bought a home and CityWorth made that experience awesome! Our Loan Processor Alexandra Matei worked with us insuring we had all our documents in order. She was on top of everything making the process smooth. Our CityWorth realtor Tommy Shumway negotiated us a great deal and got us the home we wanted. Brian Shumway was our mortgage broker and got us in the door with CityWorth and did a great job helping us with our home buying process! We loved our CityWorth team!

This was so stressful. If you use Citiworth stay was from Sean O’Neil. He was MIA most of the time. Failed to set up a viewing and we scared the homeowners. The Sellers agent also complained about lack of communication. He didn’t even
Acknowledge the close of our home. Once we had a contract, communication was done ONLY with the finance office. After making $10k we’d expect some type of “thanks for the business”.
Financing was also a little stressful, however with repairing credit we were thankful to get into our home. The closing expectations were unclear and we did not leave with the closing costs we were assured. I feel This was from negligence from Sean who did not word our contract properly. Unsure where this ball was actually dropped. Our interest rate was also higher than initially communicated.

TERRIBLE service from the beginning. HIGH FEES. NOT RELIABLE. Absolutely zero communication. Lender was caught in a couple lies. If you don't meet their "qualification" for order of review of file at the closing table, you do not meet their 2:00 review deadline which means your loan does NOT fund the day you close, which means you do NOT move into your home day of close. Do NOT recommend. Go with a reliable and trusting lender. Do your research.
If I could give Cityworth 0 stars I would... I worked with Christian Stanson... He Communicated perfectly in the first 2 weeks.. After that, it was very hard to get in contact with him. Was supposed to close on a house on May 28... I put in my notice to vacate at my apartment complex.. Being a first time home buyer, I trusted Christian.. But 1 week before we were to close, he sent me a long list of vsrifications, and said that we would need 30 more days to close... Well... The seller didn't want to extend the contract because Christian was so inconsistent... So here I am... Broke my lease because I thought I would be closing... And having to find somewhere else to rent until we find another house, with another lender... DON'T USE CITYWORTH!!!
My husband and I wen through them, sent out documents and everything and waited over 3 weeks just to hear that the banker we used didn't work there anymore. So we decided to go through another one and AGAIN waited for weeks and I still haven't heard back. I understand times are tough and probably very busy but we didn't receive call or email letting us know it would take longer. If your company is going to tell their client that they will be in touch in a week then there better be a follow up. Completely unprofessional and I will never return.
Christian Sanson is an outstanding all around great person! Not only is Christian up to date, fast, knowledgeable, and a man of his words , he is also kind and assisted in every way with the home buying process for us. We are both Veterans and this was our first home purchase. Christian helped explain to us the loan process and was with us from start to finish and we could not be more satisfied customers. We would with out a doubt recommend Christian Sanson to help get you into your own home. Christian was a very nice gentleman. He was quick and efficient when he was helping us get our loan for our new house. Even though our score was low he still managed to get us financed. Through trying times he stood by us and helped us push everything through. We are very grateful for Christian being our morgage agent.
No. Just no. They delayed closing for over two weeks and nearly cost us the house in the process. Sellers were extremely upset because Cityworthless wouldn't answer their phones so their agent couldn't get a straight answer and when they did provide an answer it was vague at best "maybe in a week or so, depends because we're backed up". We couldn't even get a straight answer and we were the borrowers. Of course everything is great when they're signing you up but right before closing the cracks start to show and by then it's too late to switch lenders. Save yourself the heartburn and find a lender that has their act together.
I dealt with a man named Christian who was completely & totally awesome !! I don't know where you guys found him but you need to go back & see if he's got any friends !! He bent over backwards & went the proverbial extra ten miles getting me into my house. I appreciate him & his efforts so much that he's invited to my wedding in October !! I truly hope he comes. 10/31/20 if you're reading this Christian !! You know the address !! Lol. I was assigned some crazy lady named Amee & after trying to deal with her, I got fed up & only dealt with Christian after that. Even though it wasn't his " Job " he still too care of me on all fronts. He's a likable guy with a funny sense of humor & I'm glad I had him to call upon. Thanks City Worth Mortgage & thanks AGAIN to Christian. Your a life alterere & don't you forget it !!
My process took longer then expected but it was because of COVID19 besides that they did everything they could to get me in my home.very helpful staff always answered my questions I had .Thank you To all the staff that made happend
I would leave 0 stars if I could. I was working with Christian Sanson and he would email me answers to my questions right away until they just stopped responding at all. I sent in the required paperwork and asked to verify they received it. Due to covid everything is online. I have sent emails and called to leave voicemails. No response from anyone. I decided to go with them because of their ratings but should of know the bad ratings they do have are exactly the same things I have been experiencing and should of turned away then. Now not only have they ran my credit they won’t even acknowledge me. When I do call to try to reach Christian Sanson the man that was suppose to be working with me the people who answer are friendly and act like they want to help even thought it didn’t do any good when they won’t switch my worker or even try to help other than just put me through to a voicemail box that never gets returned. What are they doing with my information I turned in? They get personal information and then ignore you completely. Turn away now before you receive some paper saying false information just to reel you in.

Brian, Lauren, and Maggie were the best team I could have ever had throughout my home buying process. They were with me every step of the way, always keeping me informed. Any time I began to feel doubtful they would always encourage me and eventually helped me find a house that was beyond my expectations. Buying a home is the most nerve wracking thing I have done and I am so grateful to them for making it as painless as possible, especially since my credit was the greatest but they still worked with me and got me into a beautiful home with a fair mortgage.
