The service was very good but it took much longer than expected because another phone needed for switching from another company. In my case it meant asking two friends to take part in the process in two days.

I don't understand why I can't get service at my home. When I ordered my Sims card to switch from Straight Ralk to Consumer Cellular, I asked them to make sure I could get service where I live and they said I could. But I don't. I Need Service where I live. Please help!

We used to live in Chattanooga Tn.. And we moved to Washington St. We changed our carrier to T-Mobile in hopes of getting better service and coverage. Our hotspot wasn't working that good with consumer cellular. Now we are continuing to get advertisements in the mail going to a house we don't live in anymore and when I called to get Consumer Cellular to stop sending the adds they told me they can't stop without us giving our pin number which we don't have b/c it's been years. So they will continue to annoy the people in the house we used to live in. EVERYBODY is tired of SPAM, ADVERTISEMENTS that you don't want or need. So stay clear of Consumer Cellular they will BUG YOU FOR LIFE!
