Be sure you really, really want this piece of art. If it does not happen to meet your expectations and you return it you will never hear from customer service about your refund! Had to go thru Pay Pal to finally receive refund. So be wary of this site!

I ordered a large 5.5" framed print. It came absolutely destroyed. Customer service argued and blamed ME for not going through the "right channels" (i.e. opening a ticket through their site). Once they finally agreed to send another frame, it was damaged too. They have now ghosted my open tickets for weeks, forcing me to dispute the charge with my cc. Stay away from these tools at all costs! 0 stars
Ordered twice--the first framed print was perfect, the second I relied on the visualizer tool and it showed the print framed with no mat had a thin pencil border which is why I chose no mat. The product did not look like the image when I ordered or like the image on my receipt. This was clearly a defect in the product yet I had to pay the return shipping and original shipping which amounted to almost $60. I reached out to them to let them know the reason for my return but got no reply. I would not buy another framed print from this company.
I have given 1 star for several reasons. I purchased a large canvas print of the Selling England by the Pound album cover. There are 2 versions for sale on the site - I chose the Bridgman Print version (more expensive) anticipating as a licensed image it would be of superior quality. Prior to purchase I did have an interaction with customer services who I felt didn’t really answer my questions. The print is disappointing - comparing it to the actual album cover it appears dark and lifeless. I’m not sure why - but I suspect it has been messed around with digitally. I conclude the Bridgman marker is not reliable as a quality indicator. Also people should be aware that postage appears to be priced dynamically - my order was 30” x 30” and the charge was £62. This bears no relation to the underlying cost of transit and is obviously priced so the company recovers its cost even if you should choose to return. This is really sneaky as the price simply jumps at the checkout with no warning. Fine Art of America are a large volume low quality outfit as far as I can see. I will never return to make a second purchase.
Unable to even create an account with them due to errors, cannot get through to technical support on the website chat, and I've sent 3 emails now: 1 was 2 weeks ago, another one was 1 week ago, and I just sent another one which will also no doubt be ignored. WHAT A GREAT COMPANY!
Customer service is atrocious! Enragingly unhelpful. I ordered a large double matted print and never received a confirmation email of my order. After a couple weeks I contacted customer service to check in on my order and was told it was expected to ship on a date in the past. Upon further questioning I was told it did not ship because one of the mats was unavailable (website continues to show it as available). When was I going to be informed of this had I not reached out? When asking what my options are (are there other colors available, could I do a larger single mat) I was repeatedly told that what I ordered isn’t available. I understand that but what IS available?! If I can’t trust the availability on the options on the website I’m relying on customer service to tell me my options. I asked for this to be outlined to me in multiple ways (even eventually providing examples of a format they could list my options listed in) and instead was repeatedly told what was not available. I’d never ordered from this site before and never will again. What an enormous hassle!

I ordered an iPhone cover to protect my phone. I was asked for a review after purchasing it and I mentioned that the case is very rigid and stiff. Now approximately four months have passed and the cover is split in two places. I contacted customer service and it was an inexcusable joke. Back and forth at least nine times asking me each time to include pictures of the cover and telling me that I’m sending them wrong. I was also asked several times to furnish the original order number which I don’t have and reiterated that. I don’t care what you have I will never order anything from you again.
Beware of FineArtAmerica (FAA). They do not ensure that their “artists” have a license to sell copyrighted or trademarked items including names and characters. FAA also does not inform potential customers that the product will be sold with the watermark (in this case deviant art) on the image. I don’t want to purchase images that infringe a third parties intellectual property or have a watermark (because the “artist” doesn’t have license rights or may have illegally obtained the image.) There was also a vertical white line on the image I received that FAA is trying to say is part of the image. It wasn’t visible on their website and can’t imagine why that would be part of the image. When I advised FAA about IP infringement, the watermark, the white line and the lack of transparency with customers, they simply did not care. They offered a refund on the item but not on the shipping. So hmm let’s see. They want me to destroy the picture and send them a photo and be out the shipping or be stuck with an image with a visible watermark that FAA did not advise would be on the final product, that infringes the IP of a third party and is quite possibly a stolen image or one that the”artist” can’t legally use, and has a white line through it. But as I said, FAA does not care. Their customer service is a joke, just regurgitating the same thing over and over and not even addressing my concerns or answering my questions.This was a gift. Looks like a piece of sh*t so I will be buying another gift, not from FAA. I was skeptical about this company and their products, so I should have trusted my gut. A one star rating is generous. Never again! BUYER BEWARE.
What I can say that Fine Art America was able to deliver a print of a poster that I have been looking for. I did find an original that was four feet by six feet, which was to big for my small apartment. But FAA had a great print of that poster, but I was giving the option for the size that fit my needs. Also the option to have it framed and matted which gave it that professional look. It was delivered in a way that I was certain it would not sustain any damages.I have it near my desk so I can look up and get inspiration. Also I feel that FAA had so many choices for one to pick from. I feel this is a great place for everyone to be satisfied when buying for yourself or as a gift. Thanks FAA!!

I was looking to make some purchase and the website (used both Safari and Chrome) was having issues. I spent a lot of time combing through listings (one day) while they worked on the technical glitches. (Password and display issues). When it was all sorted out they took the 20% offer away. My cart changed from 37 to 47 and with shipping and tax that made a big difference. I got an email from somebody saying that there was nothing they could do, but in light of what was happening you would think they would make an exception. I just couldn't justify the price jump for one photograph -- especially on principle.. The two stars is for customer service -- not the end product -- that I can't speak to.
I don't remember how I came across FineArt America but I am glad I did. The website gives me access to hundreds of artists that I wouldn't have otherwise seen. The website is well organized making it easy to find the styles of art I like and discover new styles of art that I didn't know I liked and have rarely seen. The format of the art is quite varied: prints, posters, canvases, greeting cards, etc. The filters can be used to find exactly what you or explore new artists and styles (landscapes, surrealism, whimsical, etc. I ordered several items, which arrived in a timely manner. The quality of the work/products was excellent. I have subsequently returned to the website and ordered more items.
