This was an amazing free service

This was an amazing free service. I was in the hospital, facing possible life threatening surgery and was able to have the peace of mind this gave me that my wishes would be in writing and that my family wouldn't have more to deal with as they would if this hadn't been done. Thanks you for this amazing service.

Freewill will send your FULL name, FULL BIRTH DATE, mailing address, phone and the EXACT AMOUNT you will be giving to the charities in advance without letting you know that they did that

This is not a "FREE" website. They sell your information to these charities and I was told by the "customer service" that FreeWill will give your FULL NAME, MAILING ADDRESS, CELL PHONE NUMBER, FULL BIRTHDAY AND THE ENTIRE AMOUNT TO THE CHARITIES IN ADVANCE, if you hit the button "YES" to notify them. They will NOT disclose this where you can see it. They sell your information. When you write your charities you want to donate to on your will, they do NOT disclose that they will give your personal contact information out to these charities, even if you revise your will and take the charities off your will. So basically, if you wanted to give $50,000 to ASPCA then lose your job in a few years and make zero dollars, you have to worry about the charity suing you because the demonic FREE WILL WEBSITE just emailed ASPCA all your personal details and how much you planned to give them without disclosing that before you hit "YES" or "NO" when it asks you to notify them. The customer service lied to me several times. First they LIED and said they only give your name, AGE and city and state and an ESTIMATE of your asset worth and not the exact amount. They lied to me because a few emails later they said they give the EXACT amount (and not an estimate). Then they changed their answer and wrote me that they give the charities your mailing address. Then they changed their answer again in another email saying they give the charities your FULL NAME, phone number, FULL BIRTH DATE, mailing address and the EXACT AMOUNT you planned to give the charity. A notification will ask you if you want the charities to know you donated to them. Do NOT make the same mistake I did and hit "Yes" because if you select "Yes," then Freewill will send your FULL NAME, phone number, FULL BIRTH DATE, mailing address and the EXACT AMOUNT you planned to give the charity. They do NOT disclose this where you can see it, and if you hit "YES" to notify the charities, your FULL NAME, phone number, FULL BIRTH DATE, mailing address and the EXACT AMOUNT you planned to give the charity in advance without letting you know that they did that. They will not disclose this and they will give you NO option for you to choose what personal information is sent. Also, if you delete the charity or change the amount later, FREEWILL does not notify them of this change which is also really shitty. What if you decided to donate $50,000, then lost your job and have $0? The charity is going to think you will still give them $50,000 and then sue your family or estate. However, FreeWill does NOT disclose this where you can SEE IT BEFORE YOU HIT YES OR NO. The only way to not have this happen is to select "NO" or contact customer service like I did to opt out from any further sharing of your information with nonprofits. They do not disclose they will share this personal information with the charities. I thought if you select "YES" it would just tell them your name. However, they give much more personal information to the charities without your knowledge. This is sneaky and deceptive, and a violation of my privacy. The charity has NO business of my birth date, home address, phone, and how much I will give them exactly. much I want to give them. That is personal information but FreeWill is deceptive and sneaky. This website caused me much more stress and aggravation with its violation of my personal information. I only knew they gave that specific information away when I asked. They would NEVER tell you that they did that. You have to ask them. That is really crappy that they do not disclose that they will do that in advance, or else I would have selected "NO" to NOT have the charities know that I donated. Ever since I hit "YES" because their shitty website did NOT disclose that information, I have had over 50 texts and phone calls, and over 35 emails from charities. The people that run this company are scammers and liars. They are demonic and evil. They claim that they don't give out the social security number but that might be another LIE from them also. They have LIED to me in several emails and gave inconsistent answers that they keep changing. They will probably sell my name, birthday, social security, mailing address and phone number to the dark web out of spite for my honest review and warning. They lied about everything else in the emails to me. These people are absolute garbage and scammers. PS. Don't believe anything "Jenny Xia Spradling" the AI BOT wrote below. I had to deal with "customer service" back and forth for a week and the "customer service reps" (which might have been AI bots) have lied, changed their answers, and gave me incorrect answers which were false. They are liars.

Hello Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we are sorry to hear about your experience. Please know that FreeWill shares user information with a charity only when a user has consented during the will creation process. When someone includes a charitable bequest, our tool asks whether they'd like the organization to know their identity or prefer to remain anonymous. This is always opt-in and never done without a user's authorization. We apologize for any confusion about what is included when someone opts in, and we have passed your feedback to our team, including your suggestion that users be able to share a name without an age or a gift amount. If there's anything else we can clarify or help with, please reach out to our dedicated support team directly at [email protected], and they will be happy to assist you. Thank you, Jenny Xia Spradling

Nothing is free anymore when it comes…

Nothing is free anymore when it comes to legal documents.. I was amazed that it was easy as it was.. I've informed my family that my will is complete and about to be distributed this week. I am forever grateful to you because I probably would have never gotten it done.. I had a little health scare so I definitely wanted to do something like this and I want to thank you very very much for your services to people like me.. God bless you and keep you.

Terrible

Terrible. Can’t find my will.
