These gutters prevent ANY water from entering them, not what I agreed to purchase
I will revise my review if/when my issue is resolved.
Just had them installed and the first big rainstorm led to a significant amount of water pouring off the roof at a faster speed than the rain itself. The entire reason for having this installed was to prevent the leaves from gathering in certain places NOT to prevent water from seeping into them at all.
I have seepage pits on the sides of my house because my house is built on the top of a steep slope so I CANNOT have water pouring off the roof like it did.
Now that the sale is over, nobody should be surprised the sales man did not return my call and so far I didn't get a response to an email I sent, either.
Not impressed.

I have been contacted and an appointment has been scheduled. I am optimistic they will send the right resources to my house to address my concerns. I will provide an update after 6/12.

My job required a couple of small extra services, which he happily did. I’m convinced it’s a good product but…
I’m convinced it’s a good product but the installation was a cluster….and the follow-up is non-existent.
The quote was timely and we made the decision quickly. When only one installer showed up and discovered inconsistency with the quote he struggled for a full day and had to come back to tear out and redo a portion of the repairs already completed. Luckily, on the second trip he had some help.
On the follow- up, there was none. I have had to call and wait to get the receipt and a copy of the warranty. The salesman hasn’t been any help. Frustrating expense, experience. I would struggle to recommend.

Save Your Money and Go Local
They sent someone to my house who spoke no English. He never introduced himself. He seemed like a nice man but could not answer any of my questions or explain anything he was doing. He cleaned the gutters by wiping them with a dirty rag and then wringing out the wet rags on my deck, which I had just stained the week before. I had to hose off my house and deck and deck after he left because they were filthy and covered with grit. I guess the professional clean-up that was written in my contract, means that the worker takes his ladder when he leaves. I still have a leak but know from a new location. The only explanation I got was, "gutters good, roof bad." I could have got the same service from someone on Craigslist for half the price. When I complained, the response I got is that we will try harder, so this doesn't happen for the next person. Big comfort!

Leaf Filter has it honored their guarantee. When I purchased these gutters for our home, I was told I wouldn’t have an issue with them getting clogged even though house is surrounded by pine trees. Every year I have to call for them to clean out the clogged gutters, this year they want to charge $120 for that service, which I was told would be covered when I purchased them in 2020.

I just got gutter covers. The sales person, Nathan, and the installer, Ryan, were both excellent, professional, on time, knowledgeable about this industry and their product and very nice with me. Both took time to talk to me to explain what I didn’t know or understand. I would definitely recommend Leaf Guard to anyone looking for this service. And the guarantee is great! I’m very happy I hired them to do the work.

I have a installer come out 2022 and he said he installed the product around my small home 2.5 years later a inspection was done there was 2 areas not done I called company they came out promptly and told me that those 2 areas were not included what this is a small mobile home how can this be then I was told we can quote you a price for those 2 areas I said I think not I feel I was taken advantage of being a senior citizen and do not recommend this company for any type of service.

I’m agree with those folks,l regret to get into this bad deal $ six thousand dollars.,small one story house cheap material,they took less than 2 hours,they left screws all over the gutters.,my ex daughter in law call me (after they installed) I told her about it, and she told me I can get you $ 3 thousand dls gutters installed, I regret no to check the reviews before otherwise I wouldn’t get it those people.,so if you guys are in the market for gutters don’t get this people.

Deceptive Advertising to lure customers. Bait and switch!
Imagine my surprise when after spending over $3500 less than three years ago for a LeafFilter system installed on existing gutters less than 140' on a single story home to find out I have to now spend $120 to have them clean my gutters due to a clogged gutter. Their introduction of the web page shows: "LeafFilter's lifetime transferable warranty ensures clog-free gutters as long as you own your home." So disappointed to find out their salesman sold us a worthless guarantee. That $3500 would have gone a long way towards not having clogged gutters simply by having my gutters cleaned every year as we did prior to installing their system. Total waste of money! Totally taking advantage of the elderly.

High pressure sales and harassment
I definitely don’t recommend them if you don’t want dealership /timeshare high pressure sales tactics. Fell for it before we could get pricing from other companies. Thankfully came to our senses and canceled before then install. Which by the way they try to schedule pretty quickly. My guess is they try to do before your right to 3 day cancel law so you wouldn’t have time to back out. I originally tried to push it out later in the week for a day I was not working night and said they could not because there was no availability later in the week. Once I did cancel they said I might get a follow phone call to find out the reason, no problem. After I hung up with customer I was trying to get ready for my shift and get my kids settled when the calls started coming from the rep. I figured I would call back on my way to work. Well about 30 mins before I left the rep showed up at our house!! He knocked, rang the door bell several times and did not leave for almost 20 mins. I definitely did not answer. Absolutely not ok. If I didn’t answer the phone that does not give you the right to come to my house to pester me for the reason we canceled. I called my husband and he was about to call the police and he finally left. I called customer service to file a complaint and asked if this was their regular practice and she stated no and said that he should have not come to the house especially if canceled and I did not consent to it. I was told I would get a call back from a supervisor, it’s Wednesday and never received a call. Also I’m sorry for someone who said they are a manager and just filling in because no one was available to do the quote and you don’t work off of commission why in the world would you be stalking a customer Iike this if they canceled? Makes no sense. Definitely another sales tactic to make you think that the person doing the quote has no ties to the sale as far as commission. The name of the so called manager (but I’m sure really a sells rep) is Josh Griffin. Do your homework first I really wish I had. I’m still rattled by the whole thing as it just happened on Monday. All we wanted was just a quote and definitely wasn’t looking for the high pressure and harassment.

Buyer beware on the warranty. After installation, water started backing up into my soffit and caused a leak that damaged the drywall in my office. When I got on a ladder to investigate, I found the filter screen was buckled in a section, which allowed roof granules and tree debris to build up and form a berm that pushed water back toward the roof instead of into the gutter.
I called LeafFilter expecting the warranty to cover this. It does not. The warranty only covers debris that gets inside the gutter. If debris sits on top of the screen and causes water damage, that is apparently not their problem. They offered to send someone out, but just the service call was $125. So I am fixing it myself.
Think about that for a second. The whole point of the product is to keep debris out of the gutter. It does that, which means debris never gets inside, which means the warranty is essentially never triggered, even when the debris on top is causing real water damage to your home.
It does work for leaves. But the screen will clog with fine debris like roof granules and small organic material over time, and when it does, water will pour over the top or back toward your roof. You will need to brush the tops off regularly with a pole brush or you will end up in my situation.
Hope this saves someone else the headache.

Charlie from Glen Burnie Leaf Filter gets a 10-star review
I had leaf filter install their product on my house 5 years ago. One of the gutters never seemed to have water in the downspout, but until just recently, I didn't see why. Then, the screw to the downspout came loose, and I saw that there was no hole cut in the gutter to drain into the downspout 5 years ago.
Cut to a few days ago. I called and learned that they would send someone out to see what I was talking about. Charlie came today. He saw that the job had not been done correctly initially, and I will say, I give Leaf Filter a 5 star because of Charlie. That guy deserves a 10 star review! He fixed the problem. He cleaned out the gutter that didn't drain, cut a drain hole and fit it with a gasket and drain pipe, cleaned up the mess of all the scummy water that was sitting in the gutter... He did an excellent job. Then he went around the roof and checked all the other gutter downspouts to make sure they were installed properly. He also blew the little seed pods from the top of the leaf filters, and reinstalled the gutter on the front to ensure that it was as close against the roof as possible so that the rain would drain into the gutter (as the shingles which had been put on too short by a different company were letting water drip between the gutter and my house). Thank you Charlie! Now, if Leaf Filter could only clone Charlie so that everyone could have such amazing service, the world would truly be a better place.

I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Stay away from this company. They did my job and refused to provide promised pictures. After six weeks of being ignored and placated I made a Better Business Bureau complaint. They called the next day, provided pictures showing they did not install the last two feet of gutters and completed the job. Also, they sent a technician in an unmarked truck who did not speak English and I couldn’t communicate with him. They say all technicians are trained at their facility. All lies! Do yourself a favor, spend the giant fortune you would spend on these covers on gutter cleaning two of three times a year. Your pocketbook will thank you and you will save yourself a big headache. I’m sad to see Mike Holmes endorsing this company.

Poor service & communication
Crew was scheduled to come between 8am to 12pm replace gutter and fascia. Sent message to the salesman around 11:30am. He didn’t respond at all. Got a call around 12:30pm from them that they weren't aware of my project so they will come around 2:30. Without any notification about getting late again, around 3:30pm finally the crew showed up which was sub-contractors which I wasn’t expecting. Job was done in a rush due to the crew was overloaded with work. I'm not a pro so just hoping the job was completed good. After I complained They sent somebody today to inspect it to make sure it’s completed good and he assured everything looks good.
Overall Very poor service, communication and quotes were changed after what was initially quoted due to saying quoted wrong, I cannot complain about it cause I agreed to the new quote. But I agreed Cz I didn't want to go through the hassle and get different quotes from small or subcontractors but unfortunately Project was done by subcontractors without acknowledging it. Last thing initially quoted was $2257 then when I reached out to sign agreement he told me he quoted me wrong and priced $2757 which I feel complete lie Cz he checked everything on his tablet infront of me adding all the stuff and gave me to quote.

I bought the Leaf Filter product over ago. Not Very much Covered under Lifetime Gaurentee
I bought the Leaf Filter product over a year ago, had to call them out several times to fix the issue with water just running over the top of the gutters and into my front flower bed. they came out and installed Flash gaurds , which helps the water go into the gutters, but now collect a lot of debris, so I still have to go up on my ladder and clean them pretty often, Which is one of their selling points, : "You won't have to clean your gutters anymore" - a Total Lie. I had home depot gutter gaurds before and this happened all the time, so when the salesman was going over it, he said I wouldn't have that problem and they would come out and fix it if I did. Well now that I have that problem and it's been over a year, they want to charge me a service fee of $125 to come out and inspect my gutters to see what they can do to fix the issue and charge me to fix them... So much for the Lifetime Guarantee of no Clogged Gutters. It's just a SCAM to get you to buy it. Also I was down at an event where there was a Leaf Filter Rep doing the sales pitch just this past weekend and I explained all the issues I was having and he said it was all covered , but when I called today, both the Rep and the Manager JJ Stevens ( DFW area) said it not covered. They will say whatever it is that will make the sale, then you just have to find out the hard way it not covered. Once Again a BIG SCAM. A Very Disappointed customer.
