What people say

Not what they say the lamp is. YOU pay to return it. TRASH!

I purchased what I thought was an original equipment lamp for my Epson projector. What I got was a "Made in China" look-alike that died in just 27 hours!!! While they are letting me return it, I have to pay shipping which is totally ridiculous being as how I'm sure that they get reduced shipping rates all the time. So, instead of paying over $117 for my lamp, I'm now out over $140 for a piece of junk that didn't last anyway. I call that POOR customer service. My recommendation: Stay away and buy the same lamp on Amazon for around $84. At least you get free returns!!

Our company sells original (OEM) bulbs in a third party housing; specializing in older models that are no longer manufactured by the original producer. We are very sorry your first lamp was defective. We have an industry leading 180-day warranty so that you can return the item for an exchange. As you wanted a refund, you are responsible for the return shipping. If you would like to do an exchange, we provide a complimentary return shipping label to all our customers. As we are a small business, we do not have the same flexibilities that Amazon can afford. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will give us a second chance to earn your business.

This customer purchased a lamp from our company and complained that it did not ignite. Upon receiving the lamp back in our office, we used our lamp tester and the lamp did ignite/turn on. As a customer service gesture, we still provided a full refund on the order.

I had an excellent experience with My Projector Lamp. The bulb arrived quickly, was packaged very well, and everything came in perfect condition. The quality of the lamp is excellent, and it worked exactly as expected with no issues. I’m very happy with the purchase and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend My Projector Lamp to anyone needing a replacement projector bulb.

A good product at a nice price delivered in a reasonable time with little difficulty.

I needed a bulb to give my old (and soon to be replaced) bulb projector. I need it to last a little longer. This bulb touts an OEM bulb that is either identical to or equivalent to the original. That is important for brightness and color accuracy. This bulb is definitely brighter than the one it replaced! Typical break in hours are around 100, and I'm not yet there. So, a few more tweaks and it should run well as long as I need it. The price is great, about a third of the original Epson bulb price, and competitive or slightly cheaper than the competitors. I had a bad experience with one, and I would not recommend them... so, I won't mention them. Ordering was straight forward, and the product was at my door in 5 days.

A highly recommended place to purchase a replacement lamp for JVC

I purchased a replacement lamp for my JVC dla RS600u after speaking with someone at myprojectorlamps to ask a question about the lamp. I received the lamp, installed it and I’m very happy with the brightness. The light output is very similar to the original JVC I replaced. Thank you myprojectorlamp!

Perfect replacement lamps and customer…

Perfect replacement lamps and customer service! Purchased a lamp for a projector that did not end up needing it. I advised customer service of the situation and they had absolutely no problem with refunding my purchase and accepting the lamp back into their inventory. I would highly advise My Projector Lamps to ANYONE needing a replacement lamp for their projector

Just what I needed! Epson Lamp

I ordered a lamp for my Epson projector. I took forever to decide whether to spend for an OEM Epson lamp or go for it and try myprojectorlamps. I made the RIGHT decision. The lamp is working GREAT! When it is time for my next lamp I know exactly where to go. THANK YOU!

Great Deal!!

YEAR UPDATE So now that it's been over a year since I've had this bulb, I can 2000% attest to the insane value and reliability! My Epson 5050UB has been a workhorse this past year being on/off and on daily for extremely long hours and on full dynamic setting which is max brightness (it's in bright living room). Just yesterday the "replace lamp" warning finally came on which means the bulbs filament is now showing less heat resistance and can melt/blow soon. However, the picture is still insanely bright and not burned down at all, easily can last longer here!! My Epson bulbs from Epson directly lasted only 3400 hours before on my 8500 model, with one prematurely dying at 2783, all of which you could quickly and easily tell it was ready to go and dim. My OEM 5050UB bulb lasted 5663 before i replaced it with this one, and this one i can see will probably hit that close as well. Not only did myprojectorlampsusa epson brand bulb last much longer than my other models, it's still trucking AND was 1/3 the price....AAAANNNDDDD.....now the bulbs are actually even cheaper than last year!!!!! Needless to say, I ordered another. I know these are epson brand bulbs in an aftermarket housing, but thus far, its outlasted ALL my epson direct bulbs. The only thing I did was I kept a very close eye on my housing filter and replaced it the second I heard the projector fan kick on, meaning airflow is restricted and the projector is heating up. I keep mine on "high altitude" mode anyway which runs the fan at higher RPMs, but is still quieter than when the projector begins to overheat and it kicks the fan into full gear. Keep that filter clean and new to allow the fan to do it's job and cool the bulb! Lots out there say they just blow the filter out with air and put it back in......I wouldn't do that as the filter membrane is still clogged with dust and restricts airflow. Spend the $30 and just get an OEM filter from Epson, there is always a coupon for free 2 days shipping and you've already saved a killing buying a bulb here, so just spend the 30 and keep your projector cool! Let the pic speak for itself! ORIGINAL REVIEW: 7/23/23 Have been using Epson only bulbs since my early 8500UB model due to the insane amount of Chinesium fake bulbs that flooded the market. Fast forward 15 years and here we are with everything doubling in price and quality remaining "borderline". I tried my hand elseware this time around with my new 5050UB's first bulb change. After exhaustive research, I chose to go with MyProjectorLamps USA as they supposedly use Epson bulbs with aftermarket housings. Now that Epson supposedly makes their own lamps in house now, its gotten very costly. So I took a chance and ordered 1. Took about a week or so for it to arrive, but sure as daylight, the bulb is marked EPSON clearly in the exact spot and stamping format as my OEM one was. The housing was indeed aftermarket, but is not important enough for me to run it. It did fit tighter and required and extra amount of force to get i to allow the screw to bite into the threads. But fired it up and its bright and clear. Time will tell as my OEM lasted over 5663 hours and was still running (dimly) with the flashing red light and replacement notice on screen. So we will see how long this one lasts. But thus far, for the literal 1/3 price of an OEM from Epson direcly, Im sold and will be a repeat customer. I probably will be ordering 2 more just to have on hand in the event supplies and cost dry up again. Just wish they also sold Filters as well and I can 1 stop shop it all from them. Well done MyProjectorLamps USA!!!
